The next day of this trip, I came to the Sandke Grassland Xiahe Yunduo Wild Luxury Camp. The environment is very beautiful. The triangle wooden house has two floors up and down, and the children like it very much. The room is very clean, there is heating, and the quilt needs to be covered at night to turn on the heating. The most important thing is that the service is particularly good. The service brother and sister rush to help push the luggage, and they can't give it. In addition, there is also a small episode. When our car turned off the intersection of the road, there was an accidental collision accident. After I contacted the hotel, I immediately sent a car to pick up my family to check in first, to avoid waiting in the drizzle, and I felt warm in my heart. And then sent a car to pick me up many times, back and forth to the camp and accident intersection, until the fault car was checked away. In the morning, I strolled on the hotel's boardwalk, blowing a breeze full of flowers, cool and comfortable. Sitting on the terrace outside the restaurant, listening to the empty Tibetan songs, looking at the clouds and mists of the distant mountains, suddenly seemed to feel the artistic conception of the song, although I didn't understand the lyrics.

We arrived on May 2nd. It was a bit chilly at night, but the air conditioning cooled us down after half an hour. The hot water was great, and the scenery outside was expansive. The owner and staff provided excellent service, helping us with our luggage. A delicious breakfast was served the next day. We brought our own portable gas stove to cook hot pot in the restaurant, which was absolutely amazing during Blue Hour. Our adorable son, Liu Yi, was patiently waiting under the table for us to feed him luncheon meat 🥩. We even saw the Big Dipper at night. Overall, it was a great experience. My only suggestion is that the owner upgrade the twin room beds to wider ones, haha. It was fine for the four of us girls, but it might not be wide enough for larger men. We would definitely go again in the summer.

The architecture and soft decoration style of the ranch homestay reveal the restrained Tibetan aesthetic everywhere. The aesthetics of the manager are very ok. It is highly recommended ❤️
The weather was comfortable and cloudy in the afternoon of the check-in day. It was super fun to take the children to run, ride horses and chase sheep on the grass slope. It was another beautiful scenery to start raining in the evening.
The most plus point is the service of the ranch. I once again thanked the front desk Nanbu for his attentive and thoughtful hospitality. I really feel at home! Looking forward to seeing you next time! 👍👍

EEduardo112We feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to stay at Shangu. Not only is the guesthouse conveniently located near the monasterybut the hosting family also taught us so much about Tibetan culture. They generously shared their time, traditions, and delicious cuisine—things we would never have experienced anywhere else. They were always kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. And all the food we ate (a lot) was genuinely local, delicious and had the warmth of homemade food. Furthermore, the guesthouse itself was absolutely lovely. The common spaces were very tasteful and inviting, and the rooms were clean, well-designed and beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful sleep, and no problems whatsoever. We will never forget these few days at Shangu guesthouse, and our lovely moments with its family. This stay will remain one of the most meaningful memories of our trip to China.

GGuest UserBy the time we arrived at the B&B, our family was exhausted. As the car pulled up to the alley entrance, my family members said, ”Looks like your B&B booking is a dud.” But when the guy who picked us up arrived with our luggage in a tricycle, it felt like a friend's home. Many guests gathered and chatted, and the landlords and their spouses joined in the conversation. They seemed like cultured people, not at all like a commercial hotel. The atmosphere was wonderful. Both our children remarked that this was the highlight of their trip. Even in Lhasa, we had never stayed in a house with such authentic Tibetan style. The cabinets in the rooms were filled with beautiful, antique Tibetan bowls that were truly captivating. Next to the welcome fruit in each room was a welcome card with heartwarming messages, which made us feel very warm. This place has become a reminder for our next visit.
