"Highly recommended! I think this B&B is the best in Xiahe County!
The room was fully equipped and fully intelligent. It had a smart toilet, a temperature-controlled showerhead, a hair dryer, and all the necessary toiletries (a razor, toothbrush, and disposable toilet seat)—it was truly complete! It was actually quite warm at night, even a little hot. I didn't take any photos of the room, but it was exactly as shown.
The sheets and pillowcases were spotless, and the room was spotless, with separate wet and dry areas.
The owner was incredibly welcoming! They were so kind! They even gave me an umbrella when we went out to eat on a rainy day, and even called us to pick us up if we couldn't get a taxi. I was so touched! 🥹 The hot pot restaurant they recommended was also delicious and highly recommended (I forgot the name, but feel free to ask if you're interested). The lamb and beef were incredibly fresh! Even if you eat a lot, you won't feel greasy!
In short, feel free to come! It's also quite close to Labrang, so you have to drive."

DDarylThe house was absolutely beautiful! The hosts were very kind and friendly. There were very good mountains for long hikes right behind the house and the views from the top of the mountain were very good. The house was also a medium walk away from the Labrang monastery and we found it very calming to get up early to spin the prayer wheels there. We absolutely recommend this beautiful house and helpful hosts for others.

GGuest User[I came to Gannan for business and passed by Labrang Monastery. I stopped there for one night to pray. I came to Dawa Village after seeing the good reviews! The accommodation is spacious and comfortable. The place is large and parking is convenient! The price is really good! They also gave us a ******* breakfast! The bedding is clean and the quilt is thick. The waiter Xiaoyao also gave us an electric heater. To be honest, this price is too good! The service attitude is good! Satisfied👍Satisfied👍! I will stay here next time! 】

GGuest User💯 Highly recommended! Shout it out loud!!! If you're hesitating after seeing the reviews, don't hesitate, you absolutely must choose this place! It's a family-run Tibetan-style guesthouse—high-class, Zen-like, clean, and hygienic! The bath towels were soft and fluffy, the mattress and pillows were very comfortable, and the bedding was of high quality, making for a very comfortable sleep. The white areas on the duvet cover and pillows had subtle patterns, a subtle yet detailed touch. The entire environment was thoughtfully designed and had a great feel, perhaps related to the fact that one of the family members is a monk. 👍🏻 There were even ******* script books by the bedside for guests to read, which was wonderful. Breakfast and dinner portions were generous. The food just placed on the table wasn't all served yet, so don't worry! Dinner includes delicious yak yogurt with white or brown sugar, and breakfast includes barley flour, milk, butter tea, tsampa, eggs, cherry tomatoes, and flatbread – all very tasty. The shop also offers ******* clothing experiences, and you can make ******* incense and experience making tsampa. The owners are a young, energetic family of brothers and sisters who have already opened three shops – very capable! Wishing them continued success. Highly recommended!

TTracey’sBest hotel I’ve stayed in on my trip. The family made me feel so welcome. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Lots of hot water. Food was great. They gave me a bike to cycle to the grasslands and did my washing for free! Also dropped me at the bus station. So kind and lovely. And the owner speaks perfect English.

Location and Natural Beauty
The hotel is nestled on the edge of the Sangke Grassland, offering vast grassland scenery as soon as you step out the door. On our check-in day, the welcoming owner offered to take us for a walk by a nearby stream. Verdant grass lay beneath our feet, dotted with wildflowers, the stream gurgled, and in the distance, cattle and sheep strolled leisurely. It felt like stepping into an untouched natural landscape. This immersive experience, detached from the hustle and bustle of life, was one of the greatest surprises of the trip.
Service is in the Details
What touched us most was the owner's thoughtfulness. Due to our tight schedule the next day, we planned to depart at 7:30 AM. We had planned to skip breakfast, but the owner specifically inquired about our departure time the night before and prepared a hot breakfast the next morning. Bread, milk tea, and side dishes...the simple fare held the most simple warmth, making us feel like family on a cool morning. This selfless enthusiasm far exceeds expectations of ”hotel service.”

AAnonymous UserI was very satisfied with this stay. The little girl and family warmly entertained us, took the initiative to help us carry our luggage, and ate a delicious yak beef hot pot. The accommodation room is spacious, bright and comfortable. I also tasted the boss's white cuckoo tea, which tasted very good. Thank you for your help, the best experience of this trip is here!

SSusan LouiseVery nice staff and extremely close to the monastery entrance without the noise being too bad, tucked round a corner off the main drag.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable - the only issue we had was no hot water for the first night/ morning - after we spoke to the lady at reception it was fine for the remainder of our stay.
The bar area is nice, we didn't try the food but very cosy for drinks.

AAnonymous UserWhen we arrived at Sangke Grassland, we just moved in. It rained heavily and encountered the biggest hailstorm in more than ten years. We hid in the Haidilao Bubble House. The rain stopped an hour later and the temperature dropped to 4 degrees in an instant. Thank you to the electrician for repairing the electricity and allowing us to stay there. After eating hot pot on the prairie night, my whole body felt warm. There is heating in the Starry Sky House, but I was worried that it would still be rainy the next day. Unexpectedly, I woke up at 7 o'clock in the morning and saw the groundhog that I missed so much. I fed him snow cakes and apples, and they clicked in front of you. It was so healing, and the sun slowly came out. , the temperature has also increased, grassland, blue sky, white clouds. The housekeeper is also very enthusiastic. If you have any needs, just call in the group.

EElsemieke de BoerI really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend staying here. The hotel is right next to the entrance of the monastery and most rooms have a nice view of the lively main street and the mountains behind. The rooms also have built-in heating so the room is not cold during the colder months. The bed is very comfortable. Staff doesn’t always speak English but they are very friendly. The hotel is a little bit outdated, but I think it is one of the best places to stay in Xiahe because of the location and it offers everything you need.
