We are really grateful to 索南仁青 (Emilio) for the top notch service rendered to us and appreciative for going the extra mile to help us. My friend was resting in the room and had altitude sickness and he actually quickly informed us as we are out for sight seeing. He even checked with us the following day on his condition even though we have already left the place. He also gave us an introduction of ******* traditional medicine, doing some handmade incense and some gesture gifts to us. We would recommend travellers who are looking for a place to stay, this is the one!

My trip to Gannan ended, and I've been home for two days now. I have to add this belated review today. Location and Natural Beauty The hotel is nestled on the edge of the Sangke Grassland, offering vast grassland scenery as soon as you step out the door. On our check-in day, the welcoming owner offered to take us for a walk by a nearby stream. Verdant grass lay beneath our feet, dotted with wildflowers, the stream gurgled, and in the distance, cattle and sheep strolled leisurely. It felt like stepping into an untouched natural landscape. This immersive experience, detached from the hustle and bustle of life, was one of the greatest surprises of the trip. Service is in the Details What touched us most was the owner's thoughtfulness. Due to our tight schedule the next day, we planned to depart at 7:30 AM. We had planned to skip breakfast, but the owner specifically inquired about our departure time the night before and prepared a hot breakfast the next morning. Bread, milk tea, and side dishes...the simple fare held the most simple warmth, making us feel like family on a cool morning. This selfless enthusiasm far exceeds expectations of ”hotel service.” Summary This isn't just a hotel offering accommodations; it's a warm, grassland inn. If you're looking for a place on the Sangke Grasslands where you can experience local hospitality, this is definitely worth choosing. The owner's sincerity and the beautiful grassland scenery will be the most unforgettable moments of your trip.

The family was lovely and helpful. The room itself was nice and equipped with the amenities you need for a short stay. However it is the authentic ******* style and charm that made me book this homestay. Just coming in was impressive and felt like driving into ******* culture.

We chose this guesthouse for our family trip to Gannan during the May Day holiday. The owners are a kind and friendly ******* family. We were fortunate enough to be the first guests to experience the guesthouse, which had just been renovated. Location: Located in a small alley in the center of Labrang Town, with parking available in front. The alley leads directly to the town's main street, with abundant commercial facilities. The family lived next door, making communication easy. Amenities: The suite we booked had underfloor heating throughout, which was perfect for the still chilly May Day holiday. The bathroom had an electric water heater, although the water pressure was a bit low, it was sufficient for washing. Other amenities were also provided, including an electric kettle, hair dryer, and tea set. Cleanliness: Overall, the cleanliness was good. Disposable towels were provided, and there was no noticeable dust in the room. Service: The family was very welcoming. They proactively helped with our luggage upon arrival, and there was a traditional ******* ceremonial scarf (khata) presented at the entrance, making us feel very comfortable. The owners even took the initiative to show us how to make tsampa (roasted barley flour). They responded promptly to any needs we had for amenities. The next day, breakfast consisted of homemade porridge, steamed buns, eggs, and side dishes. When it was time to leave, the whole family came out to see me off, a truly heartwarming moment.

The manor is very large and the owner is very enthusiastic. It is very suitable for team building or party outings. It is a famous hotel with good conditions in Labrang Town. You can go on vacation. The breakfast is also very delicious. The owner also washed the car for long-distance travel. Thank you very much. Sangke Grassland is average and not as recommended as Ruoergai Grassland.

When booking the hotel, I specifically checked other guests' reviews. It still exceeded my expectations. The guesthouse isn't located on the main street, but in an alley, near the Wuzelinka ******* Restaurant. We arrived at the guesthouse on the evening of the 2nd, and it was snowing that night. The owners and their family came out to pick us up—they were incredibly friendly! The two-story rooms were both very clean. Our electric blanket broke, and they bought us a new one the next day. They also always let us know before we went out or when we returned. Breakfast was home-style, with millet porridge, white eggs, etc. On my second day, I caught a cold and experienced some altitude sickness, and the guesthouse owner gave us medicine! In short, I recommend this guesthouse to everyone visiting Xiahe! The only downside was that our trip was a bit rushed, so I didn't take many photos of the guesthouse.

The dorm was very clean and equipped with a kettle, which was nice. I was the only guest during my stay. As mentioned in the other reviews, the dorm is located in the basement and you have to walk a bit to reach the toilet. The „shower“ is located across the front desk. It’s a small room where the hotel is storing their cleaning equipment, so showering there is a quite dirty and unpleasant experience. As there are so many dorms in the basement (I would guess 50+ beds), I wonder how they would handle the situation if the hotel is fully booked. Overall I would recommend staying there for one night, if you are not picky.

What a beautiful hotel! It is traditional ******* style, and the family who run the hotel are so friendly. They helped us with many things and told us about some events happening at the monastery. We were able to store our bicycles on the ground floor. The room was stunning and spotless. Great value too! Couldn't be a better location. I think this has been my favourite hotel of our whole trip. Thank you!

This hotel is located on the 18th floor. The entrance was a bit messy, but I really like the hotel. It has a large screen TV, refrigerator, automatic toilet (the bidet didn't work because I wasn't familiar with how to use it), free drinking water, and automatic curtains. It's almost perfect.

The hotel is extremely close to the monastery. Some people at the reception speak english and they can book you a private tour to visit the grasslands and the monasteries outside the city that otherwise would be unreacheables for 400rmb per vehicle. The room is big and the beds are warm.
