Xiahe Hotels with Balcony

We arrived on May 2nd. It was a bit chilly at night, but the air conditioning cooled us down after half an hour. The hot water was great, and the scenery outside was expansive. The owner and staff provided excellent service, helping us with our luggage. A delicious breakfast was served the next day. We brought our own portable gas stove to cook hot pot in the restaurant, which was absolutely amazing during Blue Hour. Our adorable son, Liu Yi, was patiently waiting under the table for us to feed him luncheon meat 🥩. We even saw the Big Dipper at night. Overall, it was a great experience. My only suggestion is that the owner upgrade the twin room beds to wider ones, haha. It was fine for the four of us girls, but it might not be wide enough for larger men. We would definitely go again in the summer.

Upon arrival, the owner informed us that since our car was parked by the roadside, our luggage would be brought in by tricycle. My family had a few initial concerns, but the moment they stepped into the guesthouse, all their doubts vanished! We were all traveling with young children, and the beds were spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The absolute highlight was the ground floor common area. After dinner, guests would gather there to chat and play cards. This was by far our favorite hotel of the entire Gannan trip. The breakfast the next morning was also very generous. The owner and his wife were incredibly warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate; it rained on the afternoon we arrived, preventing us from relaxing on the third-floor rooftop terrace to enjoy the views.

The campsite offers a view of grasslands and flocks of sheep, making it very close to nature. It has hot water, electric heaters, and electric blankets, which is a plus.

The room was huge, and the three windows were gorgeous; staying there felt like being surrounded by scenery. I could even wake up in the morning and watch the marmots outside from my bed, haha. The breakfast was delicious too 😋, except it was a bit pricey. The view was absolutely stunning. Someone helped with my luggage, but the check-in process, which required handwritten registration, was so slow, haha.

This is my favorite hotel on this trip. I like the quiet courtyard, the warm room, the big tree outside the window, and the light and shadow of the sun shining into the room. It can be seen that this hotel is carefully built, and the owner's feelings are reflected in every detail. It was originally just a simple overnight stay, but I didn't want to leave.

This hotel is located on the 18th floor. The entrance was a bit messy, but I really like the hotel. It has a large screen TV, refrigerator, automatic toilet (the bidet didn't work because I wasn't familiar with how to use it), free drinking water, and automatic curtains. It's almost perfect.

When we arrived at Sangke Grassland, we just moved in. It rained heavily and encountered the biggest hailstorm in more than ten years. We hid in the Haidilao Bubble House. The rain stopped an hour later and the temperature dropped to 4 degrees in an instant. Thank you to the electrician for repairing the electricity and allowing us to stay there. After eating hot pot on the prairie night, my whole body felt warm. There is heating in the Starry Sky House, but I was worried that it would still be rainy the next day. Unexpectedly, I woke up at 7 o'clock in the morning and saw the groundhog that I missed so much. I fed him snow cakes and apples, and they clicked in front of you. It was so healing, and the sun slowly came out. , the temperature has also increased, grassland, blue sky, white clouds. The housekeeper is also very enthusiastic. If you have any needs, just call in the group.

When booking the hotel, I specifically checked other guests' reviews. It still exceeded my expectations. The guesthouse isn't located on the main street, but in an alley, near the Wuzelinka ******* Restaurant. We arrived at the guesthouse on the evening of the 2nd, and it was snowing that night. The owners and their family came out to pick us up—they were incredibly friendly! The two-story rooms were both very clean. Our electric blanket broke, and they bought us a new one the next day. They also always let us know before we went out or when we returned. Breakfast was home-style, with millet porridge, white eggs, etc. On my second day, I caught a cold and experienced some altitude sickness, and the guesthouse owner gave us medicine! In short, I recommend this guesthouse to everyone visiting Xiahe! The only downside was that our trip was a bit rushed, so I didn't take many photos of the guesthouse.

I had a truly unique and enjoyable stay at this campsite. Not only was the accommodation comfortable, but there was also so much to do. During the day, you step right out into vast grasslands with beautiful scenery everywhere you look – perfect for stunning photos. In the evenings, the campsite comes alive with lively bonfire parties, creating a fantastic atmosphere. At night, you can gaze up at a sky full of stars; the view is incredibly open. Overall, it was peaceful and therapeutic, allowing me to relax and have a great time. It's the ideal spot for a relaxing grassland getaway.
