It is a ”deluxe class designation” hotel in a pack of a travel company. Located between Siem Reap Airport and the center, facing National Highway 6, but there are few facilities other than hotels in the surrounding area, and convenience stores and supermarkets are not within walking distance. There is a facility called BOX VILLE about 5 on foot, and there is a minimart-like store, but it is quite expensive compared to the supermarket in the center. Considering the tuk-tuk fee, if you are shopping for a little beer and sweets, this store is enough, so I went there several times ... It is a fairly large hotel and the facilities are at a level that is not a problem. Although it is small, there is a pool, and although there are few users, it is well maintained and comfortable. Breakfast starting at 6:00 is also reasonable, and the noodles you can choose from 3 types are delicious. However, the number of items is not large. Maybe they're reducing the food because there are no Chinese tourists. I think that most people will only sleep because many people go sightseeing in the daytime, but I think that it will be a good hotel except for the location.

The room was okay, nothing wrong with it. It’s just that the managers love to dream about getting rich: They always dream about getting rich - I smoked a cigarette outdoors and didn’t see a trash can or ashtray. I didn’t want to throw it away, so I took it indoors and put it in the trash can (indoor back door). direct access to the outdoors). There was a $150 fine for being chased when checking out. I insist that I was smoking indoors! After explaining the situation, the other party pointed at the unidentified white flakes on the ground and said they were cigarette ashes. Haha, after picking them up, they were still in flakes (probably broken coconut flakes). The whole thing was ”soot”. ah!
I asked the hotel to put out a no-smoking sign, but the management staff searched the room and couldn't find it. There is no announcement, public notice, or legal certificate. The amount of the fine is just what you say?
Non-smoking rooms are a good thing, but using cigarette butts to frame people and try to make a fortune is bad. I hope everyone is paying attention! Don't let these people succeed in their dream of getting rich! By the way: This manager is about 1.75 meters tall and always waits for guests to check out at the front desk.
When you encounter people or things that have not yet awakened from their dream of getting rich, you can argue with your reasons. Don’t be afraid that such people will find various excuses to fine you.

The service is very good, the location is convenient, the hotel environment is also good, and there is a breakfast basket prepared for early sunrise, which is very considerate. Angkor Wat is also very beautiful and worth visiting. The only suggestion is whether the room door can be closed when turning down the bed at night. I understand that it is normal to open the door when cleaning the room, but Siem Reap has a high temperature and many plants, so there are a lot of mosquitoes. We were bitten and couldn't sleep on the first night. We killed more than ten mosquitoes. I hope it can be more flexible and the waiter can close the door when cleaning.

I stayed 7 days at Zannier Hotel. The Hotel services are excellent since the moment I arrived. Their employee picked me up at the airport with cooling towel and refreshing drinks. Upon arrival, the front desk walked with me to my room introduced the hotel itself and services they have. When I enjoy my Villa, my luggage was sent along with a special mint drink. They are breakfast was always fresh selected and prepared. Coffee and fruits are amazing. Everyone was always polite and friendly. The Menu at Hang Bay was amazing. They truly tastes like a Michelin Star restaurant. The front desk are always helpful especially with my tour guide arrangement to the city of Angkor, including Angkor Wat. My Guide Ouk Dinaka was the best Tourist Guide the I could ever image and meet all my needs when I was exploring the city of Angkor. She is super friendly and patient, very knowledgeable about the Khmer traditions, culture, foods and all the histories of the temples in Angkor city. She's very passionate and always full of energy. With her as my guide at Angkor city, We visited 7 different temples, I feel that I had my dream come true. She also helped me took lots of fantastic photos. Thanks to Zannier hotel at Phum Baitang and my wonderful guide Ouk Dinaka, I had the best time and experience in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Will come back again.

I stayed at this hotel on my business trip. As always, it was clean and the amenities were plentiful (especially the shampoo, trea**ent, and body soap, including the excellent toothbrush). If you need something, the staff will bring it to you right away when you ask. There was a large desk in the room, and by placing it between the beds, it could be used like a living room. It was possible to place two laptops and one iPad, and it was very convenient to relax in bed while working, enjoy movies and YouTube, and use room service. The hotel is surrounded by greenery, and all the staff, including the kind female staff who speak Japanese, will greet you with a smile. The recommended room service is asparagus soup. If you are feeling a little hungry, please try it. If you want room service at the hotel, such as when you arrive at night, they will be available until around 9:30 p.m.

This is hidden treasured surprise this hotel offers the amenities and restaurant service like no other one in its category. I was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and easiness of the concierge people who provided me with any well services and fulfilled all my requests. The swimming pool is awesome, although I felt a little ”lonely” there, not a bad thing (not too many tenants swim). Although it's on the NR6 and it looks like it's in the outskirts of the city everything is within at 2-3 km distance reach and a tuk-tuk always is available in the front of the hotel to take you anywhere you want. Surrounded by many coffee shops and local outdoors restaurants.
Would I go back there again the answer is: of course yes!
Highly recommended.

Really lovely and serene hotel. The staff were lovely and after a bit of a delay coming out of the airport it was a delight to be picked up by Srun who was super friendly. He took us to go and get SIM cards in town which saved us a lot of hassle. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful all the time and helped arrange a car to take us onto our next destination. The facilities and pool are great and the breakfast buffet had a huge range of tasty options. The room was very big and the bed was comfortable. I’d definitely stay there again!

Very helpful and accommodating staff, appreciate talking to Jackie on the front desk about Cambodian society - not just touristy stuff! Only thing i didnt like was the location (albeit I knew this when i booked, but assumed id be sending all my time in angkor wat). Probably better to be closer to town for restaurants etc but can't fault the hotel itself.

My first time to experience such a world class treatment from all the staff. I was picked up from the airport and offered me a cold towel and a cold drink. When i arrived at the hotel, i was greeted with a welcoming drink and another cold towel. The buffet breakfast were so superb. Every time i sat at the table, they would again gave me a cold towel. (Seriously, this hotel has tons of cold towels 😂). Every time i went to the pool, there was a hot tea and an unlimited banana chips being served immediately. My room was insanely beautiful. I was welcome with a personalised note in my bed, great view of the balcony and very chic bath tub. The room's interior design is also to die-for. 😍 To the staff, thank you guys for being so friendly, approachable and professional. Special mentions to the Supervisor who always greets me with a welcoming smile whenever he sees me (sorry i forgot your name sir). To Ms Chet, who gave me a tour. To the guy who gave me a scarf upon checkout( sorry i also forgot your name, too. ☹️). To Mr. Myr whose very approachable. To the girl who helped me take my pictures in the pool (sorry i forgot your name too) and to my driver Mr Moe. Thank you guys for making my stay a memorable one. Just a little thing to add, I’m just not used about the cleaning protocol. I was startled and woke up many times by the hotel cleaning staff by automatically opening my door and asked me if i want to clean the room even though i did not put a signage in front of my door or informing somebody. However, those are just small matter than can be fixed. Truthfully, i don’t have anything bad to say about this hotel. I don’t mind staying here for a long time. ❤️❤️❤️

We had the most fantastic Sokchea Angko Hotel, huge room, very clean, specious. Upon arrival staff at receptionist counter greeted us with beautiful smile and politely. They offered us early check-in and recommend us a good Khmer Set at hotel restaurant which is over look to beautiful outdoor swimming pool. At evening we take a 10 minutes walk from hotel to famous pub street and enjoy the dinner there. Breakfast is well prepared with many choices, then we start the 2 day private tour which is organized by tour desk. We had comfortable stay, enjoyed with food and hotel facilities. If we ever visit Siem Reap again I will definitely stay at Sokchea Angkor Hotel. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plan to visit Siem Reap.

Eeruin347I rarely take time to write detailed reviews but I wanted to share my truly unforgettable experience at The Royal Family Suite by Memoire Palace Resort & Spa.
Nestled amidst the vibrant city, the hotel stands out as the epitome of luxury and hospitality. Impeccable service (a special thank you to the manager, John), exquisite, carefully thought out design (you can literally swim from your balcony), and outstanding amenities, I genuinely believe Memoire Palace Resort & Spa has established itself as the premier destination for travelers seeking an unforgettable experience in Siem Reap.
Some of my favorite parts about the hotel and experience in general were:
Interior & Exterior Architecture: A harmonious blend of traditional Khmer influences and contemporary elegance creates a truly breathtaking atmosphere. The attention to detail in the interior design, with its lavish furnishings, excellent choice of lighting, and unique artistic touches, elevates the overall experience to new heights. The room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and equipped with state-of-the-art amenities. The plush bedding, tranquil ambiance, and panoramic views create an oasis of relaxation.
The Exceptional Service: One of the standout features of Memoire Palace Resort & Spa is its commitment to providing exceptional service to its guests and the environment. The staff members are attentive, courteous and go above and beyond to meet every guest's needs. The manager even made an effort to visit me at the gym as he could not greet me at the reception. The hotel's staff is truly dedicated to creating a seamless and memorable stay for each visitor. In addition, the commitment to a plastic-free experience was impressive - there was literally none in all the facilities. They should be commended.
Culinary Options: Memoire Palace Resort & Spa boasts an impressive array of dining options, each offering a unique culinary experience. From traditional Khmer delicacies to international flavors. The Stage 1960 had an impressive menu with imported meats I doubt can be found elsewhere; breakfast every morning was beautiful with the freshest local ingredients to create innovative dishes; even the room service, typically an afterthought, was thoughtful with something for everyone.
Location: The Royal Family Suite by Memoire Palace Resort & Spa is ideally located. The hotel is a stone's throw away from the magnificent Angkor Wat, allowing guests to easily explore the UNESCO World Heritage site. Additionally, it's only a 2-minute ride to the bustling Old Market and the vibrant Pub Street, providing convenient access to local markets, shops, and lively nightlife. Tuk-tuk drivers are on standby outside the hotel so there is no wait
In summary, Memoire Palace Resort & Spa is a beacon of luxury, hospitality, and elegance in Siem Reap. I have yet to find a flaw! Whether you are a business traveler, family, or here for a honeymoon - I highly recommend choosing this resort when booking your accommodation in Siem Reap!
GGuest UserSala Lodges in the enchanting city of Siem Reap is nothing short of a hidden gem that boasts not only of charming aesthetics but also of exceptional service that made our stay unforgettable. Nestled quietly away, this hotel provided a tranquil retreat that was much needed during our travel.
The service at Sala Lodges was commendable, embodying the true spirit of hospitality. The staff were attentive, approachable, and consistently willing to assist us in organizing our trips around Siem Reap, making the overall experience hassle-free and enjoyable. A special shoutout to the Swiss owners who were genuinely amiable and made us feel warmly welcomed.
As for the accommodations, the rooms in Sala Lodges were a delightful surprise. Each room bore discrete charm with its tasteful decoration, seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary elements. The authentic Khmer old houses are full of charm, yet modern and well preserved.
The hotel’s kitchen offered a menu that might seem simple at a glance but was satisfyingly delightful upon tasting. Every dish we tried was prepared well, with fresh ingredients and flavors that are comforting yet exciting to the palate. The breakfast, in particular, deserves an extra note of praise for being consistently good, providing a delightful start to our days of exploration.
Adding to the hotel’s allure was the inviting swimming pool, serving as a refreshing sanctuary after a day of touring the magical temples and vibrant markets of Siem Reap. During the wet season, the atmosphere around Sala Lodges was even more calming and soothing, with the soft sound of rain providing a comforting backdrop to our stay.
To sum it up, our experience at Sala Lodges was nothing short of magical. From the excellent service to the beautifully appointed rooms and delightful meals, every aspect of the hotel contributed to a stay that was serene, comfortable, and absolutely enjoyable. Whether you’re traveling in the wet season or not, Sala Lodges offers a cosy retreat that will surely enhance your Siem Reap adventure. Highly recommended!
AAnonymous UserThere are too many hotels in Siem Reap. I spent a long time choosing before the trip and communicated with several hotels by email in advance. Finally, I chose this one. After arriving, I felt that the decision was very wise.
We chose the free airport drop-off, but since the hotel the day before was not far from here, the staff still sent a car to pick us up for free. The free airport drop-off car is a high-end business car, and it was sent by the boss himself.
The sanitation is always clean and the waiters are very considerate. After arriving at the store, we were provided with Chinese service and a cold coconut (the coconut is very sweet! I can't buy such sweet coconut outside). Every day after that, free ice drinks and fruits were delivered to the room. The room is also quite large and spacious, and the air conditioning effect is good. The bathroom is a semi-open-air environment, which is quite interesting.
The food here is delicious. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here, and the taste is very good. If you are worried about the hygiene and quality of the restaurant outside, I think you can solve it in the hotel, both Chinese and Western. The free massage is quite good, the same quality as the spa center.
There are two swimming pools, the scenery is very good, and it is also very comfortable to swim. Although it is not big here, it is very warm and the service is perfect.
GGuest UserWe stayed for 4 nights and had a great experience. Staff were friendly and welcoming; always keen to help. Great location close to the supermarkets, bubble tea store, food eateries, and a short distance from Pub Street and other local attractions. Staff made sure that the room is tended to everyday, it's left clean and tidy for us. Fresh water is left daily, shower had good pressure, A/C helps to cool the room, and bed is comfortable. Tip: Ask for 2 x keycards to keep one in the room to a/c running. We had complimentary breakfast in the mornings, plenty of choices from the al a carte menu and buffet - delicious and well-made pancakes, french toast, iced coffee, congee, and noodle soup. The only suggestions I could think of is to have A/C on (or fan) in the lobby to make it more welcoming for guests on entry. Also to have more channels available on the TV. Otherwise everything was good and we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to friends and family.
BBrooke and MichaelWhile staying at Metta residence my Husband enjoyed a nine night stay. The breakfast buffet was consistent each morning and lucky served us each day with a smile and fresh hot coffee. The rooms were clean daily and very spacious. The front desk was always hopeful. It was a bit moist at times. Tuk Tuk driver called Kimsun was extremely helpful and very generous, many evenings, he drove us around without asking for anything extra, which gave us a reason to provide him with a great tip. I do recommend this hotel for couples and families. The pool is beautiful and is in the sun until about 4 PM daily.
GGuest UserA cozy hotel with amazing services. All (you need) in one (stay). My family just visit this hotel during the Khmer new year. The DJ & bar make sure all the vibes you could have to celebrate the new year, while the friendliness and hospitality are served thoughtfully with huge smiles. The food is surprisingly delicious. Yet, as a family group over 15 people, the cost is more than a good deal. Special thanks to the pink hat handsome boy who took our orders, the big-smile BBQ man, the generous madam (GM?), and all adorable staffs. Last but not the least, great thanks to Mr. POV who recommande and share this heavenly hotel to my family.
PpassportfullofrosiesposiesThis hotel, particularly the service, has made me in love with Siem Reap. Mr Phea, Ms. Thida and Ms. Annie truly deserve my recommendation for their great hospitality, genuine care, and friendliness. I was first greeted my Mr Phea at the airport for the pick-up by TukTuk. It was a complimentary by the hotel. He was welcoming and so was Ms Thida when I arrived at the hotel. Not only with her warm smiles, I was also welcomed with a cold towel and a refreshing lemomgrass drink. We chatted like as if we had already known each other! As the room was already available on my arrival , I was granted early check-in to my room. Thank you, Ms Thida! I love my room. It was spacious and cosy. I wished the mini bar was complimentary but no biggie as there's a small grocery store just across the road where you can buy instant noodles, snacks, drinks and toiletries etc I spent the rest of my day out on a TukTuk for sightseeing and lunch. Mr Phea was my loyal TukTuk driver throughout my stay in Anjali. He was also like a tour guide and a friend to me. He brought me to an area where the Muslim community lives. There's a mosque and plenty of Halal food/restaurants. I truly appreciate Mr Phea doing this for me. Because of this, I had the opportunity to devour the delicious Cambodian dishes of Beef Lok Lak, Amok Fish, etc, without having to worry if it was pork-free and safe for me to eat. He brought me for a drive along the paddy fields and to watch the sunset. When I returned to the hotel, I was greeted by Ms Annie and Mr Panha. They were friendly too! Breakfast was alright to me. My first morning, I had my breakfast prepared and packed in a tiffin carrier as I left at 4am to go for the Angkor Wat Sunrise Tour. They packed hard boiled eggs, croissants, bananas, and little baguettes with jam. Only one morning I went to the restaurant for my breakfast and I chose Waffles with fresh fruits. There's a buffet of bakeries (bread, pastries, cakes), fresh fruit juices, cereals, and salad. I would totally recommend that the hotel look into an airtight container for the cereals as the ones I ate were all kinda soft and stale. The salad too should be covered because it was 'covered' with fruit flies and flies feasting on it. My two other breakfasts were spent in my room as requested. One of it was exceptionally good. I requested for scrambled eggs with cheese and mushrooms and I got just that. It was creamy and fluffy! I requested for smoked salmon at the side but was given smoked salmon bagel with rocket leaves and
The morning on my check-out day was sort of disgusting. The scrambled eggs were dry and two of out the croissants were cold. The watermelon Juice was good though. It could have been perfect if a glass of ice was served alongside with it.
MMariasmdThe room was exactly as show on the photos; spacious clean and bright. I could order breakfast to my room which was great. The first day breakfast was 15 minutes late, but luckily I wasn’t heading for the airport or anything. At the time of my stay there were offering 2 choices for breakfast, which were both delicious. The room came fully stocked with snacks as well as al pullover and Jon alcoholic drinks for cheap. Everything was around a dollar to a dollar twenty five. There is no elevator at this hotel. I was on the third floor and only had a carry-on luggage. Staff were pleasant and answered questions patiently.
GGuest UserThis hotel gets rave reviews to which I do not understand. The rooms are dated with faded curtains, cushions and bench seats, your balcony cabana rooms have a small shared balcony with only two seats so realistically, not really a balcony you can use with an occupied room next door. Due to this I was upgraded to a room with a private balcony to which I was grateful, however the room still isn't the best. The toilet seat had stains on in on the curve so looks like has never really been scrubbed clean, marks on the walls and an a/c unit that is keeping the room slightly cooler than outside. The distance from the centre is also a lot further than promoted. Staff are of course all fabulous but they all are in Cambodia, they do hospitality service well in this country. The pool is small with only7 lounges and each time I tried to get one they were all full. I was sent a message upon booking offering massages at the hotel from $8 but when I arrived to prices started from $14. In a highly competitive accommodation market I'd advise you to stay elsewhere closer to the city for the same price.
GGuest UserBeen to this old chestnut a few times over the years. Good thing is, it doesn’t change. You know what to expect. It is still good value for money IMO. Coming from a 5 star hotel a few days earlier in Bangkok I new what to expect. Bed was hard but sleepable, shower nice and hot, the small step down from the bathroom into the room will get you every time lol, the tv on the wall is only their for aesthetics, aircon works fine, no elevator but I prefer the exercise anyway. Be very careful walking down the stairs as there is very poor lighting. The pool area is really nice considering the hotel standard. No fault of the hotel but the noise on the street is ridiculous! Doff, doff going until 4-5 am full on every night by the mobile disco/bar. I can’t believe the police allow this to happen! I feel sorry for the hotels surrounding because they lose customers. Will probably stay again next time I find myself in SR because it is so convenient. Staff are always casual and pleasant. Cheers
