The positives are this is a quiet hotel with a pleasant inner courtyard for breakfast and situated right on the quiet main street of Zahara de la Sierra. The manager was pleasant and the room was clean and bed comfortable. The room was extremely dark, even with all the lights on, and the furniture is getting a little tired. The plumbing is less than ideal with a request to not flush any paper. That said, it served our needs and was a pretty good deal.

No problem with the hotel, very efficient, helpful and friendly. We have discovered mountain-top villages are entirely unsuitable for our aged bodies - but it was a wonderful location and far more splendid than its near neighbour Ronda, which was the purpose of our trip

overall a decent hotel. price is reasonable. location is outstanding. you are in a quiet street in the top of the village. no traffic, plenty restaurants just around. very nice a**osphere. you go there just for this feeling.

obviously the rating is not as much for the hotel room as it is for the environment. the hotel is simple and decent. clean. you get AC, WiFi. in our case the room was actually fairly big. we did not try the breakfast: we should have done considering there is limited option around. what trumps all is the location near the top of zahara in a mostly pedestrian area with plenty restaurants just downstairs and the view from either our room or the plaza. when at Marques, you are out of this world and can enjoy quiet and the tapas.

Hostel with a great location, right in the center of Zahara de la Sierra. The attention has been very kind at all times. The hostel is a house with a patio that has been converted into a hostel, so it has a lot of charm. It has a cafeteria with breakfast, which is quite good (5 euros with the possibility of repeating). The room was spacious, comfortable beds, with reserve blankets and pillows in the closet, everything very clean, the bathroom also spacious, with a bidet (something to be appreciated and that is not found in all hostels). Very silent at night and in the morning. The only thing I would put down is that I prefer the shower plates to the bathtubs, they are more comfortable for me, the towels are changed every two days (it would be better if they were changed daily if they have been used) and that the first afternoon that When we arrived, there was a group of ladies having coffee in the patio and it was quite audible above. In any case, it was 7 pm, during sleep hours it was very quiet. In short, we liked it and we recommend it.

Hotel situado en la calle donde están la mayoría de bares y plazas principales. A un paseo de la zona medieval y castillo. Personal muy amable, habitación amplia y limpia. Tuvieron varios detalles con nosotras, bombones en la habitación, bebida en su patio interior y una botellita de aceite. Nuestra estancia fue muy agradable, volveremos!
