Hot Springs Hotels in Sofia

The hotel is in a great location and has a lot of space. But I don't understand why it's so stuffy inside... It's already 14 degrees outside at night, but the thermometer in the bathroom still shows 30 degrees. I opened the window and turned the air conditioner to 15 degrees, but sleeping on the bed was still like sleeping on a kang...

From the doorman to the reception, they are all very warm and friendly, and the room is quite elegant and noble. Across the road is the famous Happy restaurant, and St. George's Church and the pedestrian street are two minutes' walk away.

This was better than the rooms I stayed in before, the bed was almost 3 meters wide and comfortable. There are always some deficiencies, there were no slippers in our room, when I called and told them, the reception staff brought them even though it was late. In my humble opinion, it would be better if there were Turkish employees at the reception, most of the guests are Turkish😌 Have a nice day

Nice hotel in quiet area. Big building free parking. Spacious rooms and bathrooms.

The Rila Hotel is an old hotel with old facilities, shoe box size elevators but in a very central part of the town near to everything. Our first night we stayed in a standard small room ( I think it cost $46 maybe $50 with taxes etc )that was not satisfactory. The next day for $10 - $12 per day upgrade we moved into a double size spacious/suite room with 2 balconies !! Very nice to sit out on the balcony with the afternoon setting sun and to wash out a few cloth items and let the sun dry them. Neither of the rooms had shower curtains in the bathrooms. When i enquired about this I was told this was done because of covid. Hhmmm not sure how a shower curtain has any bearing on covid ? We stayed a total of 7 nights and only once, after I called down to the front desk, did a chamer maid come up and take out the garbage and change the towels. To be fair my girlfriend has a habit of spreading all her things all over the 2 rooms so we hesitated to make a fuss. I can imagine a maid being shocked to walk in and not know what to do in all the mess. Breakfast cost extra and was only ok but enough to start the day. There was a large flat screen TV which we never turned on, there was no safe deposit box in the room but we were able to leave our valuables downstairs at the front desk. There are other hotels also nearby that are probably more renovated and modern and most likely cost a little more. On our next trip we most likely will see about other options. The staff was friendly and helpful. I guess it depends on what your expectations are but for us it worked.

Very convenient location. Friendly staff who is always ready to help. Stable Internet. Breakfast for 3 stars, OK. Minorities: The room heating is made by a common ventilation system that is extremely noisy, sleep with it is difficult even at the minimum capacity. Cleaning leaves you wish the best. Discovered the hair on the floor of the toilet and in bed. The toilet is very dirty. The shower is blocked from the shelf by a non-hydroisolated sewer, water flows beyond the shower. No slippers in the rooms. The doors of the rooms are thin, everything is heard in the corridor. In general the price for the rooms is overpriced in my opinion.
