Beechwood Guest House

Really lovely place to stay. Some nice touches in the room and excellent overall facilities that make this just a bit more special than you would expect. Superb location and great welcome on arrival so a no-brain when looking for a place to stay when next in the area.

Stayed at the Beechwood Guest House for a couple of nights. The first thing to say is that the owner was very pleasant and friendly - always a good start! The room was excellent, with a comfortable bed, very good facilities, clean and very nicely decorated. The public areas that I accessed were similarly clean and tidy with a welcoming feel. I had breakfast both mornings, and the quality of the produce, the way it was cooked and presented was excellent - and I'd go as far as to say that the breakfast would put much more expensive hotels to shame. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at The Beechwood and would certainly stay there again.

My stay was amazing. The room was beautifully laid out with iron hair dryer and tea coffee and biscuits with milk sachets plus extra pillowcases and towels when asked for. The tv was Crisp clear and the bedroom had an Amazon echo fitted which plays music and wakes u up when required. Couldn’t fault it. Oh the local haven leisure centre is 3 mins walk away with Olympic size swim pool plus an amazing gym. The beach is a hop skip and jump from the guest house too. Great eateries opposite the guest house and Rez the host makes a fabulous full cooked breakfast too!

Beautiful guest house, lovely decor and tasty full english breakfast! Just a little cool for me in the rooms. Rez the host, will even call a taxi for you to get to work on time, very helpful.

Rez is such a lovely proprietor, he ensures your stay is the best it can be. The cleanliness is second to none and the rooms have everything you need and more. A lovely place to stay.

On arrival was met by Rez who could not have been more helpful, he carried my suitcase to the top floor for me, he recommended where to eat and many other things, breakfast was a delight a full English and my friends had the light one which they both loved, at £8 it is a steal! The Beechwood is located on a street of restaurants with plenty of choice, opposite is a great pub! A very enjoyable stay full marks and thank you again Rez for making an excellent break!

Me and my sister stayed in quite a few hotels this one is certainly one of the best! Its in a great location to get to bus station,metro station, beach shopping centre and ferry all within 10 min walk which was even better! Got simple links to get to different places as we like to explore different seaside towns and shopping outlets. The guy in charge will go above and beyond to accommodate you also very knowledgable of where to go and what to do during your stay, the whole place was spotless lovely decor, definitely home from home environment, comfy bed, nice breakfast in morning, I was in the front room and had a good night sleep plus the view of them trees with light in late evening is lovely. Liked it that much booked to come back in September Thank you x

It’s a lovely room. Immaculate in all ways. You have everything needed during your stay in your room. Fantastic breakfast. Well worth the money and presented lovely. I got an extra egg instead of mushrooms. The owner can not do enough for you. Very attentive. This is my second visit. And it suits my needs. It’s very close to shops, bars and restaurants. And in other direction the park and a lovely are there. It’s my idea of a perfect holiday. Can’t wait to go back

It is within easy walking distance of coast and all of the other facilities. There was on street parking which was a great convenience and at night it was very quiet. The host gave a warm welcome and the accommodation was excellent. Breakfast was also first class. I had a very enjoyable stay.
