"The hotel is quite spacious and boasts an excellent, central location. It's just a few minutes' walk from the metro station, and the surrounding area felt very safe and pleasant. It was incredibly clean – I mean, every corner of both the rooms and public areas was spotless. We booked a twin room, which was very large and even featured a comfortable sofa. Downstairs, there's a cafe with extensive operating hours, which also serves breakfast. Breakfast is à la carte, offering a good variety of delicious options. I added a child's breakfast for less than $9, and juice and fruit are usually included. This was easily the best breakfast we had throughout our entire trip! The service was fantastic; every staff member was cheerful and welcoming. A huge plus was the complimentary laundry room, and you could even get free laundry detergent from the front desk. This feature really stood out compared to the other hotels we stayed at. Having stayed at several hotels during our Canada trip, I wholeheartedly recommend this property."

"The location is good. It's close to the airport. It's very convenient because there's a free shuttle bus to Toronto Pearson Airport. You just need to make a reservation in advance. The driver seemed to be subtly asking for a tip, but I didn't give it separately. If you're not a Hilton member, the water in the room costs 2.5 CAD per 500 ml bottle. It was surprising. I didn't drink the water on purpose. There's no coffee pot, and when I asked, it was all provided in another room and used up. The front desk staff is friendly. There's a restaurant and Starbucks in the hotel. The shower in the bathroom in the room is sunflower. There's no separate shower hose. The bedding is comfortable~"

GGuest UserBooked Deluxe King Room with breakfast included. Room was spacious and breakfast was great. Yet the standard of housekeeping was far from satisfactory. First, hairs were found at the wrap for the wire of the hair dryer the moment I checked in, and small scrap of paper was also found on the inside of a towel. Without any notice/sign in the room about the hotel's green housekeeping policy (if any), towels heavily loaded on the hook and hangers in the bathroom were not collected even on day 3 of my stay (there was no bath tub in the room to place used towels). Packs of cotton pads, cotton buds and small soaps were not refilled even when totally used up. Interesting enough, when enquired with front desk if that was the hotel's policy not to so collect the towels and make the refill unless express requests were made, the answer was in the negative. The charging of tips for breakfast is another interesting issue. My husband stayed at the hotel for 2 nights (with breakfast included) before my arrival. When he checked out, he was asked to pay for tips for 1 breakfast. After clarifying if tips should be paid for 2 breakfasts instead, front desk apologized for having wrongly charged for any tips as all charges should have already been included when making the hotel booking. Yet on our checking out after 5 nights' stay with the hotel, we were told that we had to pay for tips for 2 days' breakfast. We again enquired about the hotel policy and explained that we were willing to pay but wondered why tips weren't charged for all 5 days for our stay. No explanation was given and the staff (probably thought that we did not want to pay) just advised that the charges would be waived. I have stayed at Park Hyatt Bangkok and the service was excellent. Was thus surprised to had those experience at Park Hyatt Toronto.

FFour paddleIt felt like a hotel with a nice historical atmosphere. The room was nice and the hotel was comfortable without any complaints. Coffee is available in the lobby in the morning, a la carte breakfast (for a fee) is available at the hotel restaurant, and there is a nice cafe nearby, making it a convenient location. Looking at the reviews of nearby hotels, I thought they might not have toothbrushes and slippers, so I brought them, but they weren't. Also, in this room, although there is a shelf for storing clothes, it was not uncommon for there to be space for hanging clothes and hangers. We only brought casual clothes for our 2-night stay, so there was no problem, but if you need a suit, it might be better to check with the hotel. Even though it was my first time in Canada, I didn't have enough time to find a hotel this time, so I was hesitant to compare it with other major hotels in the same price range the day before. I'm glad I ended up staying here, and I'd definitely like to use it again next time.

NNgMoonI was initially apprehensive about staying in an ”old” hotel, but my worries came to rest. It was similar to a cottage theme with very clean rooms and adequate amentities. Staff were always very friendly, greeting us everytime we leave and return to the hotel, and responds promptly to our housekeeping requests. 10 minutes from the hotel, there is a park with a calming stream, a great place to rest and rewind from the busy city life. Nearest train station is just 5 minutes walk away, and a 30-45 minutes car ride to downtown. Some downsides though, there are no nearby restaurants besides the one in the hotel, and no nearby supermarkets. Utensils were not provided in the room so be prepared to bring your own set. Hotel lifts seem a bit worn out but had not broken down during my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay given the calm surrounding vibes and amazing service. I would consider returning in the future

MMatt88Totally disappointed. We were visiting my son in Toronto. I stayed with my son. My sister and her friend stayed at Royal York mainly for the location and history. I seldom travel in North America because hotels are just too expensive. I favoured Asia much more. We had lunch at the restaurant. There were 5 of us. Services were very slow. One of us ordered steak and eggs for lunch. Steak came with no eggs. The server brought eggs later with no apology. We ordered coffee. Coffee came with no cream and sugar. Oh well. The final night of our stay i had dinner with 2 of my old friends and we went back to lobby bar to meet my sister for a drink. We were seated and there was no server to be seen. When we raised our concern to the manager Karen, she promptly asked us to leave even though we told her we were hotel guests. She intended to embarrass me in front of my friends. It was a first time I got kicked out of bar without even drinking. So we moved across the street to a nice local bar. We were seated and served a bottle of wine at half of the price. I would like to have Fairmont to provide a response from Karen for the reason for kicking us out. So our destination was Montreal and we chose Queen Elizabeth Fairmont. We learnt from Royal York. We avoided the food and beverage at the hotel. I am a seasoned traveler and a Diamond member at Trip.com. This is probably the worst experience I have had in last 10 years of travelling worldwide. I will definitely avoid Fairmont from now on.

GGuest UserWhen it's sounds like Radisson Blu, people may think of a 4-star hotel, but my experience with Radisson Blu was not so amused. The miscommunication started since we checked in. On Trip.com, it said we can have a buffet style breakfast with $25 per person, but upon asking them, they said it's a la carte and have to pay at the restaurant. There was no buffet available. They asked me to send an e-mail to confirm is the information about the breakfast is accurate as it mentioned in trip.com sadly no one responded to my e-mail until the hours of breakfast ( 8- 11 am ) and we had not breakfast in the morning. The room is okay. It is not as exciting as it sounds like Radisson Blu. I had experience staying in Radisson blu in other countries, but the room quality they had there is not even as comparable with Radisson blu toronto downtown. The room in Radisson blu toronto downtown is like the same as some random hotel. The coffee machine was really dirty. When we complained at the front desk, they did not send any replacement. Another thing is that no dental kits were provided as it should provide in all 4 star hotels. Upon requesting at the front desk, they send us dental kits like an hour later. While checking out the front desk lady, she was a trainee. I showed him the picture of the dirty coffee machine and explained our dissatisfaction. She said she couldn't do any compensation since the room was pre-paid. In return she offered me some bottle of water for our trip 😄. I mean, I don't need a water bottle as compensation. Then she offered me that the parking would be on the house. Now, I am waiting for the return of my $100 security deposit. Apart from that the location of the hotel is very cool and convenient. Just in the herat of downtown. The CN tower was visible just from the window of our room. Considering everything it does not meet the standard of a 4-star hotel.

GGuest UserThe service of W Hotel is better than that of Sydney and Melbourne. There is a Chinese front desk. Check-in is also very fast. It can be checked in at a little after 1 o'clock! When I arrived at the hotel, it was far away to get the luggage, and they came to help me. It was very active. This is better than other overseas hotels! But the room is decorated in an open bathroom. The socket is not working. The toothbrush delivery is very slow. No one delivered it all night. There is no swimming pool. The hotel windows should be cleaned again. The windows cannot be opened. The breakfast is very exquisite! The size is the mini version of W Hotel in Sydney and Melbourne, but W Hotel is considered new abroad. Other hotels are too old. It is still a choice.

MMarlonSThe bar near the lobby is nice and they have a beautiful bar. The breakfast is not good. They say is included and they only let you have one option from the menu. Luxury is flexibility. Having to pay extra if I want to eat more in a five star hotel feels cheap.
