"First time in Motobu and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights.
We wanted a hotel on an island with walking distance to a beach and selected Hilton Sesoko Resort as we wanted to explore the Northern region. Room and service were excellent!
Love the cosy room that came with a balcony and sea view, spaciousness for our luggages and large bathroom that is separated from the toilet and comes with standing shower and a bathtub.
Parking is JPY1,500 per night, with discount given to Hilton members."

"I'd give this hotel a perfect 100! The room faces Kouri Bridge, offering a lovely view. The facilities are brand new, the room is spacious, and it even has a washing machine. The most thoughtful touch was having both a hair straightener and a curling iron for ladies. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, always smiling, and very polite. I'll definitely be staying here again!"

Anonymous UserFirst impression of the lobby is grand yet intimate. They escort you to a table and bring a welcome drink while checking you in. The rooms are large with a wonderful view. The rooms look just like the photos. Breakfasts are great, they make Eggs Benedict every morning. One day there was mango juice. Green smoothie every day. You can also get soba noodles cooked. You can even exchange breakfast for lunch at the hotel next door, and use their larger pools there. The room description mentioned a sea view, but on the third floor, a triangular roof slightly obstructs it, though the view is still incredible.

The service is flawless—attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful without ever feeling intrusive. The rooms are extremely comfortable, beautifully designed, and perfectly suited for a slow, restorative stay. The surrounding nature is stunning, and the resort feels well integrated into its landscape, which adds a lot to the overall experience.
We stayed in December, and despite it being winter, the atmosphere was still incredibly pleasant and charming. The main pool does not operate in winter, but honestly, it doesn’t feel like a drawback at all—there is so much more to the property than the pool.
Breakfast deserves a special mention: it is excellent, with high-quality ingredients and great variety. I highly recommend trying breakfast in different restaurants during your stay, as each offers a slightly different experience.
Overall, Halekulani Okinawa is a refined, serene, and beautifully executed resort. A perfect choice for those who value comfort, service, and atmosphere over loud entertainment—even in the winter season.

Guest UserThis hotel is on its own island with two relatively small beaches that feel man-made, and the sand quality isn't great. Overall, the hotel seems quite new, and so are the indoor facilities. It has both indoor and outdoor pools, and the amenities are relatively comprehensive. However, I'm not sure if there was a communication issue, but I was told at the front desk that there's no kids' play area 😂. Hotel service is mainly in Japanese and English, but if you're lucky, you might encounter Chinese-speaking staff. Inside the hotel, there's a shuttle bus service directly to the airport and Naha city center (not part of the hotel's services), and it's usually on time. There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel, with apparently just one route, the 120, which generally meets transportation needs. You can't expect too much from a resort hotel, after all. It seems every room has a sea view, though perhaps with different angles and heights. Disposable amenities are also fully provided. After a two-day stay, my overall impression was good.

Very good hotel that can sleep 4 comfortably. Was very clean, very close, 5 mins walk to some food outlets e.g. Gongcha, potama sandwich etc. We took the free shuttle bus to Bise-fukugi tree road (keep walking till you reach the beach and timed to arrive before sunset to see the beautiful sky). Breakfast spread was very good. This is a hotel that i would recommend to family and friends.

The room size was surprisingly large, especially for Japan! You could see the ocean right from the room, which really made it feel like a vacation – absolutely fantastic! The hygiene wasn't as bad as some online reviews suggested, and I was pleasantly surprised by the comprehensive toiletries and amenities provided. If you opt out of daily housekeeping, you can get a 500 or 1000 yen voucher to use at the small shop, which is a nice touch! The hotel's swimming pool is great for kids, and there are also some paid craft activities in the lobby that are perfect for keeping the little ones entertained.

Guest UserI had higher expectations for this stay and was a bit disappointed. Firstly, the location of the resort is not great, it’s on a loud highway which makes noise an issue but also makes it extremely difficult to navigate as you can’t turn right across the large highway. We treated ourselves to the buffet one morning and wish we didn’t, there was limited selections for food and the sashimi was far from fresh. We were given a table reservation card and once sat down with our food were asked to move by the staff so another guest could have our table? Very odd and once questioned the staff changed their tune and no longer wanted to move us - seemed the other guest was getting preferential treatment. Parking was also paid which was not clear on the initial listing. We stayed for 3 nights and our room was only cleaned on one day, beds were not even made and rubbish wasn’t taken out - very strange for a 5 star. We only realised staff had been in because toilet paper had been replenished. I was very excited for this stay and was a bit let down, views are nice though!

IssaqiaqiaqiaThis hotel is split into two buildings: a hotel wing and an apartment wing. The hotel wing boasts incredibly spacious balconies, which is a huge plus! Even though the weather wasn't great, the sea view from the room directly overlooked a stunning 'glass sea,' which was absolutely delightful. While some facilities are a bit dated, they are very well-maintained and you'll find everything you need. The decor has a strong Southeast Asian resort vibe, truly enhancing the vacation experience. You can book the airport limousine bus through the hotel's front desk; they only accept cash, but it's very convenient. The bus arrives punctually at the main hotel lobby. The breakfast selection on the first floor is limited but sufficient for basic needs, and they even serve alcohol!

It was the perfect environment for a hotel getaway.
Since we had young children, the hotel's pool and activities were excellent and very helpful.
We used the buffet restaurant all day, and the availability of sofa seating was a great help!
I highly recommend adding Club Savvy benefits.
The food and drinks in the lounge and the concierge service were simply fantastic. The exceptional hospitality made me want to return.

I saw reviews mentioning the North Building being older, but my stay there this time completely changed my mind. The facilities are well-maintained, and the room was quite spacious, with plenty of room in the bathroom, bedroom, and balcony!
The breakfast selection was relatively limited, and the dishes didn't change much over my two-day stay, but it was acceptable.
The hotel is very close to the beach; you step right out onto it, and the sea view is perfect. The water is clear, and the swimming area is open until 5:30 PM, after which swimming is not allowed. To use amenities like beach chairs, golf, water kayaking, and the sauna (seven or eight items in total), you need to purchase a pass at check-in, which then grants free use. Other water activities like snorkeling require an extra fee (you can rent life jackets, goggles, and snorkels to snorkel independently in the hotel's sea area, and there are quite a few small fish near the reefs).
Notably, the hotel's seaside boardwalk is beautiful! Few people venture there, especially at sunset, when the scenery is absolutely stunning.
The maga zip line charges hotel guests the same as other visitors, which is interesting. It's definitely worth trying.

Vets123It was a pleasant stay with ANA. The beach , swimming pool facilities are excellent. It would have been better if they extend the opening hours of the pool, they are only open until 6.
They also have a bouncy castle slides at the beach but it costs 4000 yen for adult or child. A bit overpriced I think for child.
The breakfast is good but the hotel is a bit old but acceptable. If u r looking for a not super fancy stay, this hotel is a good choice.
