BBennyBenBenStayed for 8 nights at Sala Samui Choengmon Beach Resort. The villa had its own private pool. Very cozy and nice. The breakfast each morning was really nice. There’s a buffet and you also get one a la carte item for breakfast to go with your buffet. So really good. Staff were super friendly and nice. The hotel evening meals were not so good. Nearby restaurants were way better and much better priced. I wished the food was super good for lunch and dinner as it would have been perfect, but unfortunately, the Thai dishes were a bit sub par, over priced and even beers and cocktails were double or triple what you pay elsewhere. Pool staff were friendly and helpful, but I wish the food and drinks at restaurant and bar were reasonably priced so we could have enjoyed it more. Nearby restaurants offer better experience. Mr Eung restaurant nearby had the best food for that area. A short drive to the best restaurant on the island called Supatrra will show you what you wish the resort had. If the manager of the Sala resort went over there and learnt a thing or two about dining then the resort could be greatly improved. Anyway, resort was nice, just the lunch and dinner needs some attention. Good location, clean and tidy. Shower gel and soaps were not the best so had to buy some outside. Don’t forget your mosquito spray. Overall, a nice experience and very relaxing, just wish the food was better. Fun stuff to do nearby, football golf, Thai cooking class, go kart racing, reggae bar, paddle ball courts, tourist shopping at night market, kickboxing show. We hired a scooter, as it’s not really walking distance to anything but a short scooter ride will get you around the island.

Yyongsherntys⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) From the moment we arrived at Marasca, we knew we were in for something special. The resort is very well-secured at the entrance, giving us peace of mind right away. The front office team was simply superb—friendly, efficient, and attentive in just the right way. Our porter was quick to assist with our luggage, no fuss, no wait—just seamless service. Although early check-in wasn’t available when we arrived, the hotel’s app made all the difference. Through the app, we could explore the resort, make requests, and track our room status. Eventually, we received a notification that our room was ready—such a convenient system! The room itself? Immaculate! Spotless and thoughtfully designed with a massive bed, a sparkling clean shower area, a cozy separate seating space, and an automated toilet that lifts the cover for you. No-touch toilet seat? That’s a huge bonus! We were also greeted with a delightful welcome basket in the room, packed with special drinks, snacks, and even a handwritten postcard by the General Manager. It was such a warm and personal touch—it’s hard not to fall in love with the place instantly. We did try the spa, and while it’s on the pricier side, the service and facilities were absolutely worth every penny—top-notch from start to finish. Cabanas, the beach club at Marasca, is another highlight. Ultra-chilled vibes, beautifully designed with lush greenery, comfy furniture, and a view that opens right up to Chaweng Beach. It was the perfect place to unwind. Breakfast? Impressive. A great mix of Western and Asian dishes, plus a healthy spread of salads, pastries, yogurt, juices, and smoothies. The little touches like free healthy shots in the morning and ice cream in the afternoon truly made our stay even more enjoyable! Marasca also offers daily activities for guests, so you’ll never run out of things to do. To sum it all up: this is, hands down, the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Huge shoutout to the amazing team—Mo, Tony, Ja, Chet, Jenny, Puppup, Andy, Pui, Golf, and the rest whose names I can’t recall. Your teamwork and hospitality were unforgettable. We will definitely be coming back. See you again, Marasca!

SSom RI spent a week at Cape Fahn, a private island resort in Thailand, and it was unforgettable. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the views were breathtaking. Dining at Long Dtai restaurant was a highlight, with exceptional Southern Thai cuisine and fresh seafood. The serene atmosphere and excellent service made my stay delightful. I can't wait to return for my next vacation.

VViktorLocation: you need to immediately understand that you will need transport. There are a couple of cafes within walking distance, but we didn’t go to them, there weren’t many people there either, except that a couple of times we saw a few farangs having breakfast. Report offers delivery to and from the beach during certain hours. I don’t remember the price: either free, or for a symbolic fee, very low. They also offered to order breakfast and have it delivered to your villa: it’s certainly more expensive than in a regular cafe, but still affordable. We did not use this service, since we would have to plan breakfast time in advance (why?). The beach... we stayed during the daytime low tides, so I can’t say anything good about the sea, but the beach itself is clean and almost deserted. Surprises: we booked a villa with three bedrooms and a living room + a swimming pool. When looking at the photos of the rooms (at the time of booking), I could not understand the location of the room and also could not understand the privacy of the pool. Will the pool be ours alone or will it have to be shared with guests from some other villa. I even looked around on Google Maps, but still didn’t fully understand it. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised that this very villa consists of two separate houses between which there is a swimming pool (not small, but medium in size). One house consists of two bedrooms with separate entrances and separate bathrooms, and the other house consists of a huge living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom + 2 bathrooms. Grandiose! Another patio. Of the minuses: not very stable wi-fi, TV is brooding. That's all. Air conditioners also do not cool as quickly as we would like, but this is the fault of the building design. A huge area of glazing which is made of single wood. If in the future we install normal aluminum structures with double-glazed windows, it will be possible to achieve a better effect from air conditioners + save on electricity and improve sound insulation. However, air conditioners do their job quite well. It was almost always quiet. Overall everything is ok. This place is worth the money. The owner, Lana, is very friendly and speaks perfect Russian.

Ффедор куйдинWe booked the All Inclusive package at Renaissance Koh Samui Resort & Spa through Trip.com, but unfortunately the experience did not match what “all inclusive” usually means. At check-in we were told that our “all inclusive” included only two dishes per person for lunch and dinner, plus breakfast the next day. This was very surprising, because we paid significantly more specifically for the full package. The administrator also informed us that desserts were included and that our son could order ice cream anytime. However, at lunch the waiter said desserts were not included, and only after calling the manager were we allowed to take one dessert for free “as an exception”. The sauna was also not included, even though we expected it to be part of an all-inclusive stay. For dinner, the all-inclusive menu in the seaside restaurant was extremely limited compared to the regular menu, so we could not find anything suitable and had to go to the main restaurant instead. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, but later at the beach bar we were unexpectedly told that drinks were no longer included, which had not been explained in advance. What made the experience even more disappointing is that we previously stayed at another Marriott property — Le Meridien Khao Lak — where the All Inclusive package was absolutely outstanding. It included multiple à la carte restaurants, a full buffet with unlimited dishes, drinks, and desserts, and overall was far superior — while actually costing slightly less than what we paid at Renaissance Koh Samui. Overall, although we paid several times more for the All Inclusive package at Renaissance Koh Samui, what we received was only two dishes per meal, a very limited menu, almost no included desserts or drinks, and inconsistent information from the staff. Unfortunately, it was far from the Marriott-level all-inclusive experience we expected and not worth the extra cost.

AAnonymous UserHello! I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, I chose an older room because of the bathroom. I recommend choosing new rooms (there is almost no difference in price), they will be located closer to the sea and will be fresher. Pros - a beautiful beach location at the end of the lamai near the rocks, there are large rocks at the bottom but they do not bother you at all because you can see them and they are located far from each other. There is less fuel oil on the sand, unlike the main part of the lamai. - there are a lot of funny cats in the hotel, I fed them, I was very glad to meet them and spend time)) - good cleaning of the rooms - breakfasts are not bad, lots of fruit - reception and restaurant staff Cons - the location is still remote, a little inconvenient to go to the ring road because there is always active traffic in this location. At the same time, there is a 7 \ 11 within walking distance. All this does not apply to the hotel itself and this remoteness can be considered as a plus, in this part of the beach there is less traffic There was an incident in the room with 2 huge cockroaches. In the entire history of my numerous trips to Thailand I encountered this for the second time. And the issue here is definitely not about cleaning. I do not understand why there are no coffee machines at breakfast like in all hotels, the poor waiters walk around all morning with teapots offering coffee that is heavily diluted

GGuest UserThe room was quite good, but the food was very mediocre. On top of that, I found the service to be extremely poor; for this price, I'd rather go to Six Senses. I had an unpleasant experience with the hotel, but the Trip.com customer service manager promptly handled the situation. I didn't ask for any compensation, but Trip.com protected my rights as a consumer. From now on, I will no longer use other services and will become a loyal Trip.com user.

LlaosnewhorizonsOur recent stay at the Royal Mueang Samui Resort was nothing short of spectacular, offering a perfect blend of serene opulence and vibrant tropical life. From the moment we arrived, the resort’s beautiful setting captivated us, nestled within a lovely, protected harbour that ensured calm, swimmable waters and a profound sense of tranquility. The property itself is a masterpiece of Thai design, with lush, manicured gardens leading to a deep, inviting pool area and a pristine, clean beach dotted with comfortable chaise lounges. It was the ideal spot to unwind with a book or simply listen to the gentle waves. Our room was a haven of quiet luxury, providing a peaceful retreat after days filled with sunshine. The facilities are top-tier, but what truly elevates the experience is the staff. Incredibly attentive and genuinely warm, they anticipated our needs with a smile, making us feel truly valued. The resort also masterfully balances relaxation with entertainment. We particularly enjoyed the fun weekly BBQ night on the beach, where a dazzling fire show lit up the palm-fringed sky, complemented by talented live singers who created a magical atmosphere. Dining was a consistent delight. The sumptuous breakfast buffet offered an astounding variety of international and local dishes, setting us up perfectly for the day. A highlight was arranging a romantic dinner on the beach—an unforgettable experience of exquisite food with sand between our toes. For a change of pace, a short stroll placed us amidst plenty of local shops and cafes, though the resort’s allure often made it hard to leave. The Royal Mueang Samui is a rare find—a peaceful, luxurious sanctuary that also knows how to have a little fun. We left feeling utterly pampered and are already dreaming of our return.

GGuest UserOur family vacation at Garrya Tongsai was excellent. The staff was very helpful and the service was amazing. Breakfast was very delicious and rich. The kids club made our child very happy. The pools were clean and not crowded, though a smoother floor could be better. Notwithstanding the beach and the seaside could be improved with weeds removed and thinner sand laid.
