Posted on Aug 10, 2026|Featured Family Deluxe Family Friendly Loft Tent (2 Beds) (Balcony)
Mingyundeyangguang
The location is excellent, nestled in a small courtyard that's very quiet at night. When the surrounding guesthouses light up, the whole courtyard feels incredibly comfortable and has a wonderful holiday vibe.
It's very close to the Nanqiao Blue Tears scenic spot, so we could just walk over to see the night view. It was convenient to grab dinner along the way and slowly stroll back, essentially no need for a car.
The room we stayed in had two floors, with the second floor and the loft being particularly popular with the kids. As soon as we entered, they started fighting over who got to sleep in the loft! 😂 For families with children, this type of room is quite fun, as the kids can entertain themselves happily.
Overall, the location is convenient, the environment is quiet, and it was very comfortable to return after exploring Nanqiao in the evening. If we come back to Dujiangyan, we'd definitely consider staying here again.
The balcony has a washing machine, which was very convenient for us on a long trip.

Guest UserGreat location to attractions like DJY Blue Tears, it was a very easy and scenic walk from the accommodation! Elegant neighbourhood with many cafes and shops and even luckin coffee nearby. Even with all this, the room was quiet and peaceful for good rest.
Host was very friendly and accommodating, helping us with questions and parking, a cherry on top for a beautiful stay already.
Thank you for the great rest, from 4 new friends from Singapore :)

Modern business emphasizes ”replicability” as the best business model, but I believe that sometimes the irreplicable aspects are the most valuable and the core reason why a company or shop can operate for a long time. For example, the unique ”human touch” of the ”Several Mountain Retreats” where we stayed this time.
This trip to Qingcheng Mountain was an ”escape” from the hustle and bustle of the city and work. We chose to come to the mountains on a weekday to avoid being disturbed, but we were also worried about being bored or lonely. ”Several Mountain Retreats” dispelled all our concerns, allowing us to truly experience the peaceful and leisurely life in the mountains.
Upon arriving at the guesthouse, the two owners, Colin and Xiaoxiao, welcomed and treated us like old friends, with just the right amount of courtesy. They responded promptly to our small needs. The guesthouse has free self-service laundry; on the first night, my boyfriend forgot to take his clothes to the dryer, and when he came downstairs, he found they were already dried. They remembered our details and prepared extra towels and cups for us. In the evenings, sitting in the courtyard enjoying the breeze and rain, they kindly asked if we wanted some fruit. When we couldn't get a taxi back after eating nearby, they even came to pick us up and ”take us home.” And so on.
Every day, the owner's handmade steamed buns and coffee were served for brunch. As a steamed bun and coffee lover, I was ecstatic!!! I usually eat steamed buns and coffee for lunch at home every day, and I never thought I could maintain my old habits even in Qingcheng Mountain. This is truly wonderful!
The cat ”Little Tiger” greeted us every day and wanted to be petted. The other cat, ”Little Tabby,” was a bit cautious, but I managed to pet him a few days later (hahaha). I'm a seasoned cat lover, so having cats makes me especially happy. And I'll always remember that night listening to the rain in the courtyard with the two cats.
The overall decor of the guesthouse was clearly thoughtful, like a secluded paradise (I even saw a blue dragonfly!). The rooms were very clean, with harmonious colors, and fresh flowers, greenery, and bergamot potted plants everywhere. Every time I stepped into a room, I quickly felt relaxed. The layout was very convenient; for example, the light switches were placed very logically, so I didn't have to walk extra distances to turn the lights on or off. Everything was disposable, so hygiene wasn't a concern. They even thoughtfully provided makeup remover wipes.
This is the longest review I've ever written—it's all about love and gratitude!! Fully charged back to work now, thanks Colin and Xiaoxiao!!!

This homestay is situated in a quiet village not too far from the entrance of Qingchengshan. It's a lovely stroll there, and also to the nearby night market for dinner. The owner is also the cook, the concierge, the housekeeper all rolled into one. He will spend some time explaining how you can go about getting to the places of attractions, and gave good advice.
My room has a bay so i could chill drinking tea. There is a tea set and tea leaves are provided too.
In a nutshell, i had a comfortable stay. 5 stars!

Still very good, free upgraded the room type for us, mainly because the surrounding is very quiet, more soundproof The front desk lady is also very good, very professional. Mainly cost-effective, the room is large, the air conditioner is very warm, no noise, one is finished, lying in bed watching TV is not bad.

The place is clean and tidy, close to scenic spots, with a beautiful environment. It's a detached villa with an elevator, flexible and livable, perfect for a relaxing stay. The thoughtful service and the kind, enthusiastic owner made the experience truly enjoyable.
Moreover, the surrounding area is beautiful with mountains and rivers, joyful laughter, and historic architecture, which is enchanting.
Free parking and convenient shopping are also a plus.

The hotel's decor is quite interesting, but its location is a bit hard to find. I accidentally got lost coming back at night. The front desk is often unattended. The faucet was leaking, the TV's internet was out, and the room door lock was dead, but these issues were resolved quickly. Compared to other guesthouses in the area, I'd say it's pretty decent.

This is a good place to rest. I am surprised that the room even has voice activator, as well as movie projector. Unfortunately, I speak English, and hence could not use the voice activator. This place is on the main road, near the ancient town gate. It is walkable to the food street as well as the famous bridges. It is very near Lidui Park Railway Station. There are other eateries nearby. The room has room heater. The only thing I think guests should be aware of is that the room floor is not at equal level. Although there is a warning sticker on the floor, upon entering the room, be careful. The room is dark, and you may not see the warning sticker before you switch on the light. This place is really good, though.

From Dujiangyan bus station, a taxi costs 7 yuan. No need to drag your luggage around, you don't want to risk damaging the wheels. The hotel is opposite the school. Traffic is bad in the mornings due to road closures, so allow extra time. It's cheap, clean, and there are plenty of food options near the hotel and shops. It's also close to the panda viewing area. A taxi from there costs 20 yuan.

I booked a windowless room thinking that one day would be enough for visiting Dujiangyan, so would be in the room just to sleep. To my surprise, the room was compact but quite functional, very clean, with sanitized bath towels, clean and skin friendly bed linens.
I thought I would feel claustrophobic in a windowless room, but surprisingly it was quite well-ventilated with an exhaust fan, and I was able to rest very well, just like when I stayed in a cave hotel in Kapadoccia, Turkey. Perhaps because I was at the this hotel in early November, the temperature inside the room was quite pleasant, and didn't need to use the air conditioning. I wouldn't know what it would be like to be in this windowless room in the summer.
We didn't have any problems with noise, but I noticed that it doesn't have soundproofing. The only thing I didn't like is that the room I was given doesn't have a shower stall, so after using the shower, the bathroom is flooded with water, and if you step in with your shoes to use the toilet, the whole room gets splashed with water
