"I travel a lot for work and rarely leave reviews, but this hotel deserves a great one. The attention to detail is truly impressive. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, smiling, and proactively offered directions and even arranged for children's toiletries. The lobby is grand and well-decorated, easily comparable to hotels like Vienna. My room was spotless and had no strange odors, and it was wonderfully quiet at night. Every time I encountered the housekeeping staff on my way up, they'd greet me warmly and even gave me a small gift. Before I left, the front desk also presented me with a braided colorful string. I really have to commend this hotel for its meticulous management. It's clear the management team puts a lot of effort into the guest experience. 👍"

Modern business emphasizes ”replicability” as the best business model, but I believe that sometimes the irreplicable aspects are the most valuable and the core reason why a company or shop can operate for a long time. For example, the unique ”human touch” of the ”Several Mountain Retreats” where we stayed this time. This trip to Qingcheng Mountain was an ”escape” from the hustle and bustle of the city and work. We chose to come to the mountains on a weekday to avoid being disturbed, but we were also worried about being bored or lonely. ”Several Mountain Retreats” dispelled all our concerns, allowing us to truly experience the peaceful and leisurely life in the mountains. Upon arriving at the guesthouse, the two owners, Colin and Xiaoxiao, welcomed and treated us like old friends, with just the right amount of courtesy. They responded promptly to our small needs. The guesthouse has free self-service laundry; on the first night, my boyfriend forgot to take his clothes to the dryer, and when he came downstairs, he found they were already dried. They remembered our details and prepared extra towels and cups for us. In the evenings, sitting in the courtyard enjoying the breeze and rain, they kindly asked if we wanted some fruit. When we couldn't get a taxi back after eating nearby, they even came to pick us up and ”take us home.” And so on. Every day, the owner's handmade steamed buns and coffee were served for brunch. As a steamed bun and coffee lover, I was ecstatic!!! I usually eat steamed buns and coffee for lunch at home every day, and I never thought I could maintain my old habits even in Qingcheng Mountain. This is truly wonderful! The cat ”Little Tiger” greeted us every day and wanted to be petted. The other cat, ”Little Tabby,” was a bit cautious, but I managed to pet him a few days later (hahaha). I'm a seasoned cat lover, so having cats makes me especially happy. And I'll always remember that night listening to the rain in the courtyard with the two cats. The overall decor of the guesthouse was clearly thoughtful, like a secluded paradise (I even saw a blue dragonfly!). The rooms were very clean, with harmonious colors, and fresh flowers, greenery, and bergamot potted plants everywhere. Every time I stepped into a room, I quickly felt relaxed. The layout was very convenient; for example, the light switches were placed very logically, so I didn't have to walk extra distances to turn the lights on or off. Everything was disposable, so hygiene wasn't a concern. They even thoughtfully provided makeup remover wipes. This is the longest review I've ever written—it's all about love and gratitude!! Fully charged back to work now, thanks Colin and Xiaoxiao!!!

I liked the (Chinese-style) breakfast. The staff was helpful and they even took me down to the front of the mountain ticket office. The food at night (beef and bamboo shoots) was not bad. I stayed in the garden view room, with two single beds. The bed was comfortable. The tea in the room was really nice Maofeng tea. The style of the room didn’t scream luxury to me (not the quiet kind either). As for the location, I thought it would be nice to be in mountainous surroundings but it didn’t prove to be very convenient for my needs. I arrived on Friday and went to the front mountain on Saturday. Someone from the hotel very kindly dropped me off near the ticket office. A little aside: After visiting the mountain I decided on a spontaneous trip to Nanqiao (the south bridge) in Dujiangyan (I had not seen it at night on an earlier trip there). It was not that hard to find a taxi back, but keep in mind a small surcharge of 3.9% for taking you up the mountain). On Sunday I left the hotel too late as it was already very busy on the road to the back mountain ticket the taxi driver did not want to take me there (cause it would mean being stuck in traffic for hours either no compensation for all this waste of time) but offered to take me to The high speed railway station from which I could take a bus (passing hotel again!). Obviously the bus also ended up in a traffic jam, but in any case I did make it there in the end. Luckily I took my luggage and left it at a shop next to the foot passenger ticket office for 5 yuan. Unfortunately the hot water spring is only open in winter. They have a nice pool though. I enjoyed my stay but didn’t find it very luxurious although it is rare to have a hotel with a pool in China, so that was cool. At around 50 euros per night it was okay value for money.

This resort had put in a lot of effort in alot of small details and for people who want to rest and rejuvenate this is the best place. 小沈and 小孟had been really helpful! We did a dampness removal massage there together and have one of the best sleep ever. We also tried out the floating sound therapy and they gave us two coupons for the afternoon tea, the tofu pudding was so good. Thank you for the wonderful stay well done and keep it up.

Facilities: The room amenities are decent, but the smart curtain is a bit silly. You can't control it individually, meaning if you want to close it, you have to close everything. There's no screen on the street-facing side, and it's very close to the building opposite, so you can see everything happening in their rooms (and they can see everything happening in yours). Service: This isn't my first stay here. The first time, after receiving the booking, the host promptly contacted us to tell us where the free parking was, and the entire check-in and check-out process was very smooth. The contact person at the time was also very enthusiastic and helped with everything. This time, after booking, I didn't receive a confirmation call or parking information from the host until around 5 PM when I checked in. So we drove straight to the same parking lot we used last time. There was even a poster in the parking lot with the accommodation's name on it. But when we checked out, we were told we had to pay for parking before leaving. We were like, 'What?????' We called the host, and they said, 'Oh, we're no longer partnered with that parking lot.' ???? If you're no longer partnered, why didn't you say something beforehand? If you're no longer partnered, why didn't you contact your customers in advance to inform them of the new parking location? If you're no longer partnered, why didn't you take down the poster with your accommodation's name in that parking lot? Just because you're no longer partnered, you can't just assume old customers will know, right? You can't provide detailed service the first time and then start to get perfunctory, right? Why not just write in your policy changes: 'As of [date], this establishment no longer provides free parking service'? Running a hotel or guesthouse can't just be about being disorganized and then just saying 'sorry,' can it? Repeat customers come back because they approved of their first experience. Aren't you just cutting off your own repeat business? Other aspects were okay. This time, it might be approaching peak season, and the accommodation seems less soundproof. Wearing earplugs at night can still solve the problem. Breakfast is dumplings, noodles, and tangyuan (sweet glutinous rice balls). If you don't like it, you can walk around the street; there are plenty of places to eat, but the prices are random. Double refined afternoon tea: The afternoon tea was also pretty good. [Exclusive for guests] Slow-cooked old fire stew ● Goodnight sweet soup: This was hot milk.

Visiting Dujiangyan and Qingcheng Mountain was truly a great experience, and the hotel stay was fantastic. It's just a one-minute walk from the high-speed rail station, which is perfect for out-of-town visitors. The service was also very good; they were always ready to help with anything. The decor has a great vibe, and I imagine the owner is a cultured person. The bamboo-woven 'green mountain' at the entrance of the lobby is especially the highlight of the entire hotel. Highly recommend it! The price is also reasonable. I'll definitely choose Yue Shang Qing Xiang again if I get the chance.

Absolutely perfect! The atmosphere was very comfortable. The room was huge, and both the bed and sofa were very cozy. The service was fantastic. Miss Kiko arranged everything for us, both what we thought of and what we didn't, making our stay incredibly smooth and pleasant. We stayed at Six Senses before coming here, and Songpin offers incredible value for money. Plus, the travel photos turned out absolutely stunning! Superb! If you're here for hiking, don't choose the multi-story villas. We were completely exhausted and couldn't even manage the stairs anymore. 😂

🇹🇭🇹🇭ขอรีวิวเป็นภาษาอังกฤษนะคะ This place was exactly like the photos – super nice with amazing service. The hosts were incredibly kind and even gave us a ride to the Qingcheng Mountain entrance and the Qingcheng Railway Station. If you’re planning to hike up Qingcheng Mountain, I totally recommend staying here. 1.The room was super spacious and looked just like the pictures. Everything felt fresh, clean, and super comfy. 2.The bed was really soft, and all the amenities were modern and well thought out. 3.The staff were friendly, helpful, and just really lovely overall. 4.Great location – close to Qingcheng Station and the mountain. 5.Breakfast is included, but sadly we woke up too late to try ๆit. Next time for sure! We did have lunch there though, and it was delicious. 6.Honestly, everything was great. Totally worth every penny.

They say this is the 'floor' (entry-level) Six Senses globally, but then again, the price is also 'floor' (affordable). The staff are all young, proactive, and enthusiastic, though admittedly, not always professional. But that's completely understandable. Sincerity is the ultimate weapon, and genuine, youthful sincerity is far better than professionalism without heart. It's truly a place where you can slow down. In the mornings, sitting on the room's balcony or in the courtyard, sipping tea, it's so peaceful. The chirping of insects and the occasional golf cart carrying guests to breakfast passing by. Surrounded by the air of Qingcheng Mountain, you wake up lost in the Daoist essence. I imagine many villages in the mountains of Yunnan, Guizhou, and Sichuan live much like this, with vegetable patches in their courtyards and areas for raising chickens and ducks. The only difference is that this is a pastoral dream for those who haven't experienced true rural life – it creates a unique rural illusion specifically for city dwellers. I signed up for a Tai Chi class early in the morning and practiced Qingcheng Tai Chi. While I was practicing, the instructor remarked, 'This fellow practitioner has frozen shoulder.' He was right; I was gritting my teeth in pain, making it easy for him to spot my chronic ailment. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable experience, like an ideal pastoral idyll. Definitely worth trying; you won't regret it.

Facilities: The hotel and room facilities are quite old, and the walls are severely waterlogged due to years of rain. Cleanliness: The hotel is mediocre, with some mosquitoes and insects hanging around corners, and the bedding has a damp smell. Environment: Sitting on the balcony or in the lobby bar, you can see the lush mountains in the distance. The air is especially fresh after the rain, and the mist is shrouded in clouds, creating a very picturesque atmosphere. Service: The hotel staff will do their best to provide services upon request, so it's generally acceptable.

Went during a low season. The hotel was virtually empty except for us, but the staff remained professional. The rooms were a slight letdown on a few points - BUT overall it was extremely enjoyable and downright luxurious in other areas. Overall, a definite recommend. We had a great stay and a great time. Amazing - it's a working tea farm. We woke early to pluck tea leaves for the experience (free but worth 68 yuan) and if you collect enough you can take it to the tea master to then experience frying the tea in a wok to turn the fresh leaves into dry green tea. The tea sachets in the rooms are made by the hotel themselves and taste great. More free experiences are included with the stay, including tea brewing classes and wearing hanfu. I thought it to be incredibly value for money. The private onsen is great and came with a homemade herbal pouch to throw in for a medicinal bath. The rooms are spacious with an excellent view - and I MUST commend the incredible number of light switches which let you have any combination of light ambience. Minor letdowns - mosquitoes will come to you at the alfresco area during mealtimes, I would sit indoors next time. We also had to run the shower for a long while before hot water could come out. The charging sockets are a little iffy with lots of dust in the sockets and some outlets might not be working depending on your luck. The standard sockets mostly work but USB sockets might not. The smart W/C is also slightly malfunctioning but largely works as intended.
