The room was spotless, and the view was absolutely stunning. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, we could see Mount Qingcheng shrouded in rain, and at night, we drifted off to sleep listening to the sound of flowing water. The restaurant downstairs was also incredibly delicious! The bamboo shoots this season were so tender and had a milky flavor. Every staff member at the guesthouse was exceptionally kind and helpful. A special shoutout to the owner who even helped us find a car down the mountain 🥹! The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, including afternoon tea and a sweet dessert soup before bed. Finally, a big thank you to all the staff for their hard work. We loved it and will definitely be back next time! Wishing the owner great success in business~

Modern business emphasizes ”replicability” as the best business model, but I believe that sometimes the irreplicable aspects are the most valuable and the core reason why a company or shop can operate for a long time. For example, the unique ”human touch” of the ”Several Mountain Retreats” where we stayed this time. This trip to Qingcheng Mountain was an ”escape” from the hustle and bustle of the city and work. We chose to come to the mountains on a weekday to avoid being disturbed, but we were also worried about being bored or lonely. ”Several Mountain Retreats” dispelled all our concerns, allowing us to truly experience the peaceful and leisurely life in the mountains. Upon arriving at the guesthouse, the two owners, Colin and Xiaoxiao, welcomed and treated us like old friends, with just the right amount of courtesy. They responded promptly to our small needs. The guesthouse has free self-service laundry; on the first night, my boyfriend forgot to take his clothes to the dryer, and when he came downstairs, he found they were already dried. They remembered our details and prepared extra towels and cups for us. In the evenings, sitting in the courtyard enjoying the breeze and rain, they kindly asked if we wanted some fruit. When we couldn't get a taxi back after eating nearby, they even came to pick us up and ”take us home.” And so on. Every day, the owner's handmade steamed buns and coffee were served for brunch. As a steamed bun and coffee lover, I was ecstatic!!! I usually eat steamed buns and coffee for lunch at home every day, and I never thought I could maintain my old habits even in Qingcheng Mountain. This is truly wonderful! The cat ”Little Tiger” greeted us every day and wanted to be petted. The other cat, ”Little Tabby,” was a bit cautious, but I managed to pet him a few days later (hahaha). I'm a seasoned cat lover, so having cats makes me especially happy. And I'll always remember that night listening to the rain in the courtyard with the two cats. The overall decor of the guesthouse was clearly thoughtful, like a secluded paradise (I even saw a blue dragonfly!). The rooms were very clean, with harmonious colors, and fresh flowers, greenery, and bergamot potted plants everywhere. Every time I stepped into a room, I quickly felt relaxed. The layout was very convenient; for example, the light switches were placed very logically, so I didn't have to walk extra distances to turn the lights on or off. Everything was disposable, so hygiene wasn't a concern. They even thoughtfully provided makeup remover wipes. This is the longest review I've ever written—it's all about love and gratitude!! Fully charged back to work now, thanks Colin and Xiaoxiao!!!

A must stay if you are in the area. Incredibly peaceful scenery with every modern amenity. It is possible, simultaneously, to feel completely secluded in nature, and in bliss at a five star resort. All of the staff were absolutely lovely, helpful and friendly. The room was spotless, beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. The private hot spring bath and pool with the view are priceless. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful retreat from the business of most cities.

Location: The hotel is near Sunac Land, with moderate distance to major attractions, especially very close to Panda Valley, just a 10-minute taxi ride away. Environment: A garden-style hotel where mountain and lake views complement each other, with the serene sound of birdsong. The artificial lake has black swans, and in spring, you can see adult swans with their cygnets. Facilities: The resort grounds are extensive, and the public areas are spacious. The lobby's design is very impressive, and the welcome scent is particularly pleasant. The privacy is excellent; even when fully booked during the May Day holiday, we rarely encountered other guests on the grounds. The rooms primarily feature hot springs, each with a private hot spring tub, cleaned and refilled daily for each guest. The only minor drawback is that the breakfast quality falls short, especially the Western pastries, which don't quite match the overall high standard. Service: Butler service is provided. The butler contacts guests in advance to send relevant information and注意事项. Our butler, Lori, handled the service perfectly – attentive and thorough, resolving issues without being intrusive. Highly recommend and praise her. Overall: Very suitable for a vacation, perfect for couples, families with children, or anyone seeking a relaxing getaway.

A hidden gem of a guesthouse in Qingcheng Mountain, my friends and I give it a direct five-star rating! 🏡 Amazing Environment: Tucked away in a mountain hollow surrounded by lush greenery, this Chinese Zen-inspired courtyard offers beautiful views at every turn. Moss-covered stone paths, ancient trees, and Zen-like lanterns create a serene atmosphere. Step outside, and you're greeted by the green embrace of the forest. Wake up to misty clouds and enjoy the tranquility of the night. It's incredibly healing to breathe in the fresh air, and every photo you take here turns out to be a stunning, atmospheric shot. On the second-floor terrace, you can gaze at the mountains and unwind, feeling the mountain breeze as you admire the flowers – truly a complete vacation vibe. 🐱 Adorable Pets: The two fluffy long-haired cats in the courtyard are absolutely adorable! They'll snuggle up to you for affection. Petting cats while looking at the mountains is pure bliss for any cat lover! 🍴 Delicious Food: The breakfast is exquisite and heartwarming, with freshly made porridge, steamed dim sum, and side dishes that are both nutritious and delicious. The afternoon tea, featuring fruit tea and fresh fruit snacks, is perfect for enjoying by the pool. The freshly ground coffee is rich and aromatic, comparable to a professional coffee shop. The owner highly recommended the wood-fired chicken, which is authentically flavorful – a local secret! 💁♀️ Excellent Service: The owner is warm and attentive, offering free shuttle service to and from the ancient town, making travel super convenient. They are responsive to all your needs throughout your stay, with great attention to detail. This is the ideal mountain retreat to escape the city. Go for it, you won't regret it! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Qingcheng Mountain!

I liked the (Chinese-style) breakfast. The staff was helpful and they even took me down to the front of the mountain ticket office. The food at night (beef and bamboo shoots) was not bad. I stayed in the garden view room, with two single beds. The bed was comfortable. The tea in the room was really nice Maofeng tea. The style of the room didn’t scream luxury to me (not the quiet kind either). As for the location, I thought it would be nice to be in mountainous surroundings but it didn’t prove to be very convenient for my needs. I arrived on Friday and went to the front mountain on Saturday. Someone from the hotel very kindly dropped me off near the ticket office. A little aside: After visiting the mountain I decided on a spontaneous trip to Nanqiao (the south bridge) in Dujiangyan (I had not seen it at night on an earlier trip there). It was not that hard to find a taxi back, but keep in mind a small surcharge of 3.9% for taking you up the mountain). On Sunday I left the hotel too late as it was already very busy on the road to the back mountain ticket the taxi driver did not want to take me there (cause it would mean being stuck in traffic for hours either no compensation for all this waste of time) but offered to take me to The high speed railway station from which I could take a bus (passing hotel again!). Obviously the bus also ended up in a traffic jam, but in any case I did make it there in the end. Luckily I took my luggage and left it at a shop next to the foot passenger ticket office for 5 yuan. Unfortunately the hot water spring is only open in winter. They have a nice pool though. I enjoyed my stay but didn’t find it very luxurious although it is rare to have a hotel with a pool in China, so that was cool. At around 50 euros per night it was okay value for money.

🇹🇭🇹🇭ขอรีวิวเป็นภาษาอังกฤษนะคะ This place was exactly like the photos – super nice with amazing service. The hosts were incredibly kind and even gave us a ride to the Qingcheng Mountain entrance and the Qingcheng Railway Station. If you’re planning to hike up Qingcheng Mountain, I totally recommend staying here. 1.The room was super spacious and looked just like the pictures. Everything felt fresh, clean, and super comfy. 2.The bed was really soft, and all the amenities were modern and well thought out. 3.The staff were friendly, helpful, and just really lovely overall. 4.Great location – close to Qingcheng Station and the mountain. 5.Breakfast is included, but sadly we woke up too late to try ๆit. Next time for sure! We did have lunch there though, and it was delicious. 6.Honestly, everything was great. Totally worth every penny.

The environment is truly amazing, no complaints there. Even though the decor is a bit old, it's very well-maintained. They offer two cleaning services daily. The turndown service was a bit rigid, though. We were two adults with a small child in a king-sized bed, no extra bed, so we asked for an additional single duvet. Every night, the double duvet was neatly turned down, and the single one folded up… clearly, one adult was sleeping with the child in the double bed, and the other adult was using the single duvet, right? It was a bit frustrating. It's easy to get lost walking around, and you often need to call for a car. Sometimes, like during breakfast or check-out, it can be a little inconvenient. When we were leaving, we called for a car to pick up our luggage. We were on the second floor with no elevator, only stairs. We waited a long time, and then the butler said the person was downstairs. We waited a bit more, and my ride-sharing car to the high-speed rail station was almost here – I was so anxious! I rushed out of the room and saw the staff member leisurely strolling, looking at their phone, in no hurry at all… Ugh… I honestly wanted to yell at them. I told them I was in a hurry, but they still didn't speed up, muttering something about the butler giving them the wrong room number… The butler service was good, though. When we went to the front section of Mount Qingcheng, she proactively offered to take us through the side entrance to the shuttle station for the scenic area, and also offered to pick us up there on our return. That was great. However, whenever I messaged her on WeChat to ask something, or to call a car, or open the side gate, she wouldn't reply after I'd sent the message. Just a simple 'received' would have put my mind at ease, right? But no… Every time, she'd rush me to call her instead… Sigh… Regarding the service, you could say I'm nitpicking a bit, but for a high-end luxury place, it just felt like it was missing something. The minibar was free, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was just okay; compared to the 800 RMB breakfast we had in Chunxi Road, Chengdu, apart from the setting, the food wasn't significantly different… Sigh… But if you ask me if I'd choose Six Senses again if I came back to Mount Qingcheng, I probably would… After all, the emotional value was still delivered, and overall, it was comfortable.

Upon extending our stay, the manager mentioned they'd just launched new wellness programs. They offer three complimentary sessions daily: morning exercises led by a therapist, afternoon yoga, and evening aqua therapy – absolutely fantastic! On weekends, they also host children's craft activities. Plus, booking a stay automatically includes complimentary hot spring tickets, with over 20 different pools to enjoy. The hallway near the breakfast restaurant has a lovely artistic ambiance. A thoughtful touch in the room is the collapsible clothes drying rack.

Went during a low season. The hotel was virtually empty except for us, but the staff remained professional. The rooms were a slight letdown on a few points - BUT overall it was extremely enjoyable and downright luxurious in other areas. Overall, a definite recommend. We had a great stay and a great time. Amazing - it's a working tea farm. We woke early to pluck tea leaves for the experience (free but worth 68 yuan) and if you collect enough you can take it to the tea master to then experience frying the tea in a wok to turn the fresh leaves into dry green tea. The tea sachets in the rooms are made by the hotel themselves and taste great. More free experiences are included with the stay, including tea brewing classes and wearing hanfu. I thought it to be incredibly value for money. The private onsen is great and came with a homemade herbal pouch to throw in for a medicinal bath. The rooms are spacious with an excellent view - and I MUST commend the incredible number of light switches which let you have any combination of light ambience. Minor letdowns - mosquitoes will come to you at the alfresco area during mealtimes, I would sit indoors next time. We also had to run the shower for a long while before hot water could come out. The charging sockets are a little iffy with lots of dust in the sockets and some outlets might not be working depending on your luck. The standard sockets mostly work but USB sockets might not. The smart W/C is also slightly malfunctioning but largely works as intended.
