2-Star Hotels in Miami

Yesterday, I experienced a three-hour delay in receiving my scheduled doses. The check-in process concluded at 10:00 p.m., and I did not receive a confirmation call. Upon the return of the night staff, I was informed that I needed to be on the list, despite already being included. Although check-out is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., I was required to release my cleaning personnel early to facilitate room cleaning. I received no communication via phone, email, or text throughout the night. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this establishment for those arriving during nighttime hours. Furthermore, this morning, the front desk was unattended, and all access points were secured with a code. To date, I have not received any email correspondence, nor has the reimbursement for my massage been processed.

All aspects can be described in four words - quite satisfactory. The sofa has dirty things, the vending machine next to the elevator has not been changed (it should be an example), the parking lot charges 25 knives a day, this kind of fast hotel similar to the motel can charge such a high parking fee, I can use this place may be a lot of money to comfort myself

I love it here, the front desk lady was so nice. Feel like being home. The theme of the hotel is also fantastic! I think it relate to some black people culture :) A very cozy hotel, but the area is a bit unsafe and scary at night. The theme is black culture. A very special hotel!

For the price of this hotel, it is in an excellent location and is very clean. During our stay, there were lots of things that weren’t working or were broken in the hotel, including the key card machine, so we were only given 1 key card for a room for 3 people. In our room, the bathroom door handle had been ripped off on the inside before we got there and one of our friends got locked inside with no way out. She tried multiple times on multiple numbers for the hotel/front desk and not a single one worked. They were either in Spanish and hung up immediately or were disconnected. Luckily she was able to get in touch with us to come and let her out (she was in the room alone) but that meant travelling back to the hotel from another location. We were told by the front desk after this incident that they would come and fix the door but they never did. The washing machines were also broken so we were only given 2 towels every few days between 3 people. If there hadn’t been so many things broken, it would have been a decent stay.

The hotel is very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and answered the requests quickly. Negative point : I have to re-start twice to get the refund of my caution ( it took 5 days after my departure to finally arrive knowing that I use a direct/instant card with no time ) ! The hotel is simply unnecessary by telephone! Nuisances due aux passages des avions vraiment just au-dessus. Le nettoyage pourrait aussi être amélioré! Pas de navette pour l'aéroport c'est dommage.

The hostel location is lowkey too quite and far from everything if you are not local but they have train station nearby I’m just not comfortable to walk around that much

After the epidemic, it is no longer possible to clean every day, but towels can be changed every day. There are many small mosquitoes, which are easy to kill and do not affect sleep. This is what happens when there are many green plants. I can hear planes taking off and landing, and it doesn't affect my sleep. We are looking for an American-style hotel with a kitchen, so the fact that it claims to include breakfast has no impact. Hot water, tea, coffee, oatmeal and chocolate drinks are provided in the small corner at the front desk from 6 to 9 in the morning, nothing more. We brought our own Moka pot, disposable tableware for seasoning, and purchased ingredients from a nearby supermarket. The hotel also provided a set of non-stick pots, plates, knives and forks, which was enough. Free parking is a must, the front desk staff is friendly, we didn't arrive until 11pm. It takes 12 minutes to drive to Little Havana, 40 minutes to Miami Beach, one hour to Everglades Park, and 4 hours to Keywest. I think everything is quite reasonable.

I feel like this needs a proper review on this site. As my arrival was coming i was really worried about the place because of the reviews here. I was prepared for having to look for something different… i arrived and noticed that the house is secured nicely and the passcodes are working in the rooms and at the main door perfectly. The reviews also mention bad communication with the owner.. i have to say that they did not pick up my phone for the first time but as my check in was getting closer i got an email saying everything i needed. I also noticed another guest talking to them through WhatsApp so I recommend asking for this option as they probably have this accommodation listed on different apps too. There was a time when i locked myself out of the room and forgot my passcode so i asked another person that was staying there to reach them. It was approximately about 9:30 pm maybe later and they did respond in a few minutes and helped me out with this situation. The location is kind of scary in the night i have to say and you may meet different kinds of people but you have to count with this if you are looking for a cheap place to stay in a city like this. I was a solo woman traveler in Miami and i managed everything smoothly.

After checking in, I put my luggage in the room and left quickly to take care of some work. When I came back, I found an elderly woman and a Black woman behind her entering a code and unlocking my room door. I immediately went up to question them, but I got no response. They even blocked me outside the door. By the time I managed to get into the room, both of them had already left. I then messaged the owner, but received no reply at all. This situation made me feel extremely unsafe, and I couldn’t sleep the whole night. My laptop, tablet, phone, and bank cards were all inside the room. I do not understand how they knew the code or why they were able to open my door. This experience has seriously raised concerns about the hotel’s security and management.

It is worth for the price.
