The day after my child's high school entrance exam, I booked a trip to Yunnan and Guizhou. I stayed at Atour hotels throughout the journey, but for Huangguoshu, to avoid exhaustion, I decided against the Anshun Atour and opted for accommodation closer to the scenic area. After comparing several guesthouses on Ctrip, I was particularly drawn to Jingmoxuan for its nine-grid breakfast, location, and decor. Its high rating on Ctrip sealed the deal, so I booked it well in advance. Upon arrival, the guesthouse's private underground parking was incredibly convenient. The little pebbles and greenery by the room entrance were absolutely charming; it's clear the owner put a lot of thought into the decor. Stepping into the room, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was, exceeding my expectations for a guesthouse. Since I booked so early, the price was significantly better compared to last-minute bookings. The value for money was truly excellent! If any of my friends or family plan to visit Huangguoshu, I would wholeheartedly recommend Jingmoxuan. Of course, to secure a good price, I'd suggest booking as soon as your travel plans are confirmed, haha.

It only takes two minutes from the visitor center to the B&B, which is so surprising. Looking at the pictures from the platform, it looks average. When I actually arrived at the store, I was shocked. The quality of all the items in the B&B exceeds the price. The lady boss is very nice and sweet-natured. She personally cooked a hot pot meal for us. It is highly recommended.

Comfortable and Convenient Stay with Thoughtful Host We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and modern. However, shower room tiling can be improve further for one of the family room toilet. But the other toilets in the other rooms are good. The location is good, near the second entrance of Huang Guo Shu Waterfall which only opens for day trip. It has MacDonald & bubble tea shop nearby for comfort food. However, it is a 20 min walk from the main ticketing entrance for foreigners for day and evening tickets. Though it is quite a distance, but it is better than getting stuck in the heavy traffic during this peak season. Talking a stroll, passing by the restaurants are ok. The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with one parcel collection from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. They also send our family out to the main road as our 9 seater big bus is not able to enter the small lane to the homestay. To walk to the main road, there is a staircase which is about 1 min walk up. Ok for young and young seniors, but may not be very suitable for very old people with walking difficulties. Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

Amenities are great. Tv allows easy screen mirroring from mobile phone. Laundry room is free to use and you can scan the qr code to monitor the progress. Location is ten minutes walk to the attraction entrance. There are eateries and convenient shops around. The noodle shop right beside was great. The big waterfall was an awesome experience especially since I booked the Shui Lian Dong access.

The receptionist was very kind and upgraded us to a family room for free. She even escorted our family to take the high-speed train. We had a very happy trip and are extremely grateful. The hotel is great, with good service and a good location. Choosing this hotel for your Huangguoshu trip is a sure bet.

The hotel is about a 5-minute drive from the ticket office of Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area; you can contact the owner for a pick-up and drop-off service. From the ticket office, you need to take the scenic area shuttle bus to the entrance, which takes about 20 minutes. Overall, the transportation is quite convenient, and there are many restaurants nearby. The hotel has complete facilities and excellent natural light. We booked a two-bedroom, two-bathroom sunny suite, which is perfect for friends or families traveling together, ensuring everyone has access to the bathroom. Overall, the hotel is quite good!

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The owner provided excellent service. Since it was the off-season and there were vacant rooms, the owner generously upgraded our room and even offered free shuttle service to and from the scenic area, which saved us a lot of hassle. Each room also comes with a washing machine, which was quite unexpected. If I had to pick a downside, it would be that the light switches in the room were a bit confusing, and the toilet flush was so strong it caused some splashing. I hope the hotel continues its great work and dedicated management.

The accommodation was exceptionally good, clean and hygienic. The promotional photos are exactly as pictured. The staff were all very nice, and the pick-up and drop-off service was prompt and efficient. It's actually very close to the scenic area. The environment is also quiet. It's especially pleasant to relax outside in the evening. They even provide small fruits in the evenings. The restaurant inside is also delicious; we stayed for two consecutive nights. I highly recommend their restaurant; we ate there every day. Everything we ordered was delicious, and my child especially loved the special version of shredded pork with garlic sauce—we ate it two days in a row! ✅

I booked this place with a 'let's see' attitude given the price, but as soon as we entered the room, my whole family was amazed! The entire room is smart-home enabled; my kids kept playing with the smart speaker and even said they wanted to sleep in the tent at night. I forgot to take pictures, so I'll just borrow some from the merchant! The room is super spacious, clean, and tidy, and the themed room is full of childlike fun. This hotel was truly a huge win! We'll definitely stay here again if we get the chance!

The decoration style of this hotel is old, especially the carpets that show signs of age. The equipment is well maintained and the rooms are spacious. The front desk has upgraded to an elegant mountain view room. The windows are also very wide. There is a mountain view outside, and the air is fresh and very comfortable. . The pillows and mattress are comfortable. The biggest advantage of the hotel is that it is very close to the Huangguoshu Scenic Area Visitor Center. It takes only seven or eight minutes to walk there. There are many restaurants near the hotel. The only regret is that the bed cannot be moved and the two beds cannot be pushed together.
