The day after my child's high school entrance exam, I booked a trip to Yunnan and Guizhou. I stayed at Atour hotels throughout the journey, but for Huangguoshu, to avoid exhaustion, I decided against the Anshun Atour and opted for accommodation closer to the scenic area. After comparing several guesthouses on Ctrip, I was particularly drawn to Jingmoxuan for its nine-grid breakfast, location, and decor. Its high rating on Ctrip sealed the deal, so I booked it well in advance. Upon arrival, the guesthouse's private underground parking was incredibly convenient. The little pebbles and greenery by the room entrance were absolutely charming; it's clear the owner put a lot of thought into the decor. Stepping into the room, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was, exceeding my expectations for a guesthouse. Since I booked so early, the price was significantly better compared to last-minute bookings. The value for money was truly excellent! If any of my friends or family plan to visit Huangguoshu, I would wholeheartedly recommend Jingmoxuan. Of course, to secure a good price, I'd suggest booking as soon as your travel plans are confirmed, haha.

Comfortable and Convenient Stay with Thoughtful Host We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and modern. However, shower room tiling can be improve further for one of the family room toilet. But the other toilets in the other rooms are good. The location is good, near the second entrance of Huang Guo Shu Waterfall which only opens for day trip. It has MacDonald & bubble tea shop nearby for comfort food. However, it is a 20 min walk from the main ticketing entrance for foreigners for day and evening tickets. Though it is quite a distance, but it is better than getting stuck in the heavy traffic during this peak season. Talking a stroll, passing by the restaurants are ok. The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with one parcel collection from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. They also send our family out to the main road as our 9 seater big bus is not able to enter the small lane to the homestay. To walk to the main road, there is a staircase which is about 1 min walk up. Ok for young and young seniors, but may not be very suitable for very old people with walking difficulties. Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

The landlady is a super nice person, the room is super beautiful, first-class hygiene, and beautifully decorated! For breakfast, the landlady made dumplings herself, which were delicious! There are also plenty of fruits on offer! The garden layout on the rooftop is very comfortable and thoughtful!

This trip to Huangguoshu Waterfall with my family was a complete success, and the hotel we stayed at far exceeded my expectations – I highly recommend it! The hotel's location is superb, just 1km from the scenic area, very convenient. The environment is tranquil and elegant, far from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are exceptionally spacious and airy, with no feeling of confinement, and excellent natural light and views. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, the mattress is just the right firmness, and there are even latex pillows (I forgot to ask the brand), but my neck felt very comfortable after one night's sleep. The biggest surprise was the smart home system throughout the room – voice control of the lights, curtains, and air conditioning was convenient and the kids found it novel and fun. The owner was also very hospitable; at lunchtime when we checked out, he even introduced us to local food, mentioning chickens raised for five or six years – they looked delicious!

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The owner provided excellent service. Since it was the off-season and there were vacant rooms, the owner generously upgraded our room and even offered free shuttle service to and from the scenic area, which saved us a lot of hassle. Each room also comes with a washing machine, which was quite unexpected. If I had to pick a downside, it would be that the light switches in the room were a bit confusing, and the toilet flush was so strong it caused some splashing. I hope the hotel continues its great work and dedicated management.

The accommodation was exceptionally good, clean and hygienic. The promotional photos are exactly as pictured. The staff were all very nice, and the pick-up and drop-off service was prompt and efficient. It's actually very close to the scenic area. The environment is also quiet. It's especially pleasant to relax outside in the evening. They even provide small fruits in the evenings. The restaurant inside is also delicious; we stayed for two consecutive nights. I highly recommend their restaurant; we ate there every day. Everything we ordered was delicious, and my child especially loved the special version of shredded pork with garlic sauce—we ate it two days in a row! ✅

The overall experience of this newly opened art hotel exceeded expectations, and the store was exquisitely designed and full of atmosphere. The whole house was cleaned very cleanly, all kinds of facilities were brand new and easy to use, and the texture of supporting toiletries was online. The staff is gentle and caring, the location is excellent, and it is very close to the scenic spot. There is a large bathtub and sofa in the room. It feels like in a cinema. You can see the small garden of the hotel when you open the curtains. You can also chat in the garden with your family at night. The chef in the restaurant downstairs is outstanding, the dishes taste authentic, eating, lodging and playing, and travel is particularly convenient.

The hotel is conveniently located, the surrounding dining and convenience stores are complete, and it is very worry-free to travel. The lobby is clean and elegant, the staff is warm and thoughtful, the front desk check-in is efficient, and the details of various facilities are intimately informed. The room hygiene is very good, the floor, window sill, bathroom corners are clean and stainless, the bedding is soft and tidy, and there is no smell. The room is moderately spaced, well-lit and ventilated, air conditioning, network operation is stable, sound insulation is excellent, and the night rest is very quiet. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, hot water is sufficient, and the toiletries are complete. The breakfast buffet is rich in variety, fresh ingredients, and complete with hot and cold meals. There is a need to contact room service to respond quickly, and the public area is also cleaned and maintained at any time. The overall price is very high, the environment, health, service is impeccable, the first choice for travel accommodation, will choose this next time.

Basic but functional hotel. Room toilet was poorly designed, without any hooks in the shower stall, such that there was a need to step directly into the room after showering. The room itself was comfortable and clean, but the poor design of the toilet caused privacy issues. Breakfast had virtually no variety, even though the noodles cooked on-demand were tasty and of good quality. Hotel staff originally seemed a little cold, but were extremely helpful in handling our baggage. Hotel is a short walk away from the main entrance of the waterfall park, close to many eateries that sell affordable food open at night.

My trip to Huangguoshu and stay at Boying Hotel was fantastic! The staff were warm and attentive. The decor was unique. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean, with soft bedding and complete amenities. The location is convenient – ​​just 800 meters from the scenic area entrance, and there are many local restaurants nearby with delicious food. Plus, it's incredibly cost-effective; compared to other hotels in the area, the price is affordable while enjoying high-quality service. Highly recommended!
