Great location right within the old town, making it super convenient to explore the area on foot. The room had a nice, luxurious feel. While it wasn’t particularly spacious, it was still able to comfortably fit our two large suitcases, which was a plus.
That said, if you’re a light sleeper, it’s a good idea to bring your own earplugs as noise could be an issue.
The room was supposed to come with breakfast, but since we had an early flight the next day, the hotel wasn’t able to make any arrangements for a takeaway or light breakfast. This is definitely an area for improvement. Instead, we were simply told to grab anything available from the café bar, which felt a bit underwhelming.

1. Excellent location, 2 minutes from the beach viewpoint. You can drive into the old town, but the roads are really difficult to navigate—narrow, crowded with tourists, and sometimes closed off, making it hard to know where to go…
2. Good breakfast, the yogurt bowl was super delicious.
3. The biggest drawback is that it's too noisy. There are restaurants and bars nearby, and the music is incredibly loud.
4. The double room felt a bit old, and the cleanliness was just average.
5. The staff were very nice. Overall, recommended!

The hotel is located in Kaleiçi, the historical center of the city, inside the old fortress walls — a place where time seems to stand still. It was a real pleasure to stroll through the narrow, cobbled streets full of character and history. The hotel has a beautiful inner courtyard with lemon and orange trees, and a small pool. Having breakfast there in the morning, surrounded by the scents of citrus trees, was an absolute delight. Breakfasts were great — everything you need for a complete, healthy meal to start your day.
Our room was on the smaller side, and we would have preferred a bigger bed, but thanks to the high ceilings, it felt quite spacious. The interior design really adds to the atmosphere — it feels like you’ve stepped into the Middle Ages. A couple of small suggestions for the hotel: it might be worth reviewing how the bathroom toiletries (shampoo, shower gel) are mounted, as the current setup wasn’t very convenient. Also, the safe in our room wasn’t working. We asked for it to be fixed, but there was no staff member available at the time who could help, and the issue was later forgotten — though to be fair, we didn’t follow up either. One other note — the hotel offers unlimited complimentary drinking water, which is a great bonus, but we weren’t informed about it at check-in and only discovered it ourselves later on. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. It’s a unique and relaxing place with a lot of charm.

The location of this hotel is very central to my dental appointments in Lara. I know the area well so knew what to expect.
The breakfast at 8pm is one of the best I have encountered when visiting Lara with ”free breakfast”. The only complaint is with the paper tiny disposable cups for tea or coffee... as Westerner I do like milk with my tea/coffee so although the cups appear adequate for Turkish tastes they become unusable. A China or larger cup would be fantastic option.
The space for socialising and to eat breakfast is a small terrace at the front of the hotel is very limited.
When I visited a new Irish bar was been built at the end of the ground floor corridor. Rather worryingly they were testing the sound system for that bar which was far too loud (even at 4pm) so I have serious reservations that this noise will completely drown out any peace and quiet when this bar is open.
The room was large, spacious, clean and well lit
The ensuite fantastic for all needs.
All in all fantastic stay... would recommend and give 5 stars if the future noise from the bar will be a major concern especially if travellers are attending dental or other medical appointments

Good location: located near the edge of old town, easy for tours pick up (no cars allowed in the old town) and exploring the old town in foot. Lots of restaurants option nearby. Guest UserFirst, we checked into an economy room (the first three photos). The upside was that it was quite spacious. That was nice!
However, there were more downsides: it was dark, a bit dirty, clearly hadn't been renovated in a long time, but the worst part was the smell from the bathroom. When we arrived, the smell was already there and it spread throughout the room, and there were also toilet flies everywhere. It was unpleasant.
After that, the staff helped us move to a different room – an upgraded suite. It's in a different building. It's much quieter, more peaceful, and more beautiful there. This room was a 10/10. It was clean, pleasant, had a balcony, and a wonderful view.
I highly recommend the hotel itself; the staff are responsive and kind, the rooms are good (not the economy ones), the architecture is beautiful, it's atmospheric, everything is wonderful. We'll be back again.
The buffet, in my opinion, wasn't very diverse. Quite meager. But that's a minor detail.

The hotel is not a beach hotel, it is located near the city center. Breakfast is very modest, not a buffet. There is only a hairdryer and slippers. We stayed for one night. The room is small, the TV hangs crookedly, the lamp on the ceiling fell out of its socket, the furniture in the bathroom is broken, the window is barred, there is no balcony. I didn't feel comfortable. It's not worth staying more than one night.

Perfect location! Walking distance to everything! Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. The room is cozy and bed comfortable.i stayed here 2 weeks and it felt like home. There is a restaurant next door that plays loud music until midnight so if you go to bed early and are a light sleeper donot stay in room 103. I stayed in that room one night and changed rooms. Pool side room or rooms in B building are much quiter. I opted for the dinner option and the restaurant was very good! I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was shot for 24 hours. The room is small but everything is available. Breakfast is included, Swedish table. Staff is kind, love animals. Cosy hotel. There is a swimming pool but it is located in a closed area from the sun.
