GGuest UserI would like to file a formal complaint regarding my recent stay at this hotel due to the unprofessional and uncomfortable treatment I experienced. From the beginning, the attitude of the staff, including the owner, felt cold, dismissive, and unwelcoming. On the morning of check-out, I left the hotel early to take my friend to the airport. When I returned, I found that my room had already been entered and cleaned at around 9 a.m., even though I had not checked out and the official check-out time was 12 p.m. Later, a staff member came to wake me and remind me that I needed to leave by 12, while also saying that they thought I had already gone. This is not an acceptable excuse. Entering a guest’s room and preparing it before check-out time, without confirmation, is inappropriate and disrespectful. I also had an unpleasant experience with breakfast. I had paid for two breakfasts, and when I explained that I wanted the second one because I was still hungry, the staff clearly seemed unhappy about it. I then asked for cutlery for the second breakfast, but it was never brought. This is not the guest’s responsibility. If breakfast service is offered, then it should be provided properly and without attitude. The overall behaviour of the staff made me feel judged and unwelcome throughout my stay. Even during check-out, when I returned the key card, their attitude remained unnecessarily rude and uncomfortable. It felt like they were selective about which customers they wanted and did not know how to treat paying guests with basic professionalism and respect. If the hotel believes its prices are too low for the service it provides, then it should change its pricing policy. What it should not do is accept payment and then treat guests as if they are a problem. I am submitting this complaint so that other customers do not have to face the same treatment. I hope Trip.com takes this matter seriously.

GGuest UserVery strategic hotel location. In the heart of old town with beautiful interior. However, there are busy coffee shop and restaurant that open until midnight, and the old building wasn't built with sound proof walls, so expect a bit noise from outside.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at Start Otel in Antalya and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The service truly felt like a 5-star experience—staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. A special thank you to Naz at the reception, who was absolutely wonderful and even upgraded my room, making my stay extra comfortable. I also truly appreciated Mustafa, who was always there to help with my luggage with a warm and helpful attitude. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The Turkish breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety, paired perfectly with their tea. I really enjoyed starting my mornings there. The only small downside for me was the coffee, which could be improved—but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The hotel’s location is also very strategic, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and the charming old town. Everything felt accessible and convenient. Overall, Start Otel offers great value with excellent service, tasty breakfast, and a prime location. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Antalya.

GGuest UserThe location of this hotel is very central to my dental appointments in Lara. I know the area well so knew what to expect. The breakfast at 8pm is one of the best I have encountered when visiting Lara with ”free breakfast”. The only complaint is with the paper tiny disposable cups for tea or coffee... as Westerner I do like milk with my tea/coffee so although the cups appear adequate for Turkish tastes they become unusable. A China or larger cup would be fantastic option. The space for socialising and to eat breakfast is a small terrace at the front of the hotel is very limited. When I visited a new Irish bar was been built at the end of the ground floor corridor. Rather worryingly they were testing the sound system for that bar which was far too loud (even at 4pm) so I have serious reservations that this noise will completely drown out any peace and quiet when this bar is open. The room was large, spacious, clean and well lit The ensuite fantastic for all needs. All in all fantastic stay... would recommend and give 5 stars if the future noise from the bar will be a major concern especially if travellers are attending dental or other medical appointments

DDenisFFrom the outside, it's a beautiful hotel, and the lobby and bar are also very appealing. The staff is friendly, the service is good, and the beds are truly excellent. Unfortunately, a lot of things feel provisional, especially the hallways with their carpets, and despite renovations, the rooms aren't entirely clean and are of rather poor quality. The breakfast, served as room service during this current off-season, is tasty but very sparse and hardly worth the price. Nevertheless, the overall value for money is still good, which is why the stay remains positive in the end.

RRoksanaCThe location is decent for the Old Town, but there were plenty of oddities. The WiFi didn't work for us the entire stay. Initially, we were put in a room that reeked of dampness and mold, and the door to the shared balcony wouldn't close. The staff didn't bother to cool down or air out the room before my brother and I arrived. After a rather angry complaint, we were eventually moved to a suite, which was smaller and darker than the room we originally booked, but at least it didn't smell. It was a 4-story climb up wooden stairs, and everything felt very old and barely held together. The pool is in the common courtyard where the hotel restaurant is located. A strange decision, meaning we're supposed to swim while others are enjoying their lunch?! Thanks to the staff for their response and for moving us, but overall, the impression was negative. The only plus was breakfast. It was good, varied, with lots of fruits, vegetables, different types of eggs, sausages, and cheeses. That was a pleasant surprise.

The room is cozy and bed comfortable.i stayed here 2 weeks and it felt like home. There is a restaurant next door that plays loud music until midnight so if you go to bed early and are a light sleeper donot stay in room 103. I stayed in that room one night and changed rooms. Pool side room or rooms in B building are much quiter. I opted for the dinner option and the restaurant was very good! I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

MMarinaThe hotel is not a beach hotel, it is located near the city center. Breakfast is very modest, not a buffet. There is only a hairdryer and slippers. We stayed for one night. The room is small, the TV hangs crookedly, the lamp on the ceiling fell out of its socket, the furniture in the bathroom is broken, the window is barred, there is no balcony. I didn't feel comfortable. It's not worth staying more than one night.
