The rooftop garden at Shanhao Garden Hotel in Ning'er is absolutely stunning! The design is breathtaking, the rooms are spacious and airy, and the smart home features enhance the overall experience. Complimentary coffee and tea are available, and you can swim directly in the heated pool. The receptionist is incredibly friendly and helpful, even assisting with your luggage and recommending fun places to visit nearby. She's also very pretty. The location is convenient, making it a must-stay in Ning'er!

Whenever I travel to Pu'er, Yunnan, Deting Hotel is always my top choice for accommodation. I've stayed here many times, and each visit still exceeds my expectations, so it definitely deserves a full five-star rating. This time, I stayed in their boutique hotel, which has an elegant and warm new Chinese-style original wood decor. Stepping in, a vibrant green plant wall immediately washes away any travel fatigue. The lobby's wooden cabinets are filled with adorable plush toys, and the window-side seating area features monstera plants, with fresh fruit and snacks available all day. Enjoying tea and resting my feet while waiting to check in was incredibly comfortable. The guest rooms are spotless, with bright, airy lighting. The double-layered curtains provide excellent sound insulation and blackout. There's a comfortable lounge chair by the window, and the bedding is soft and gentle on the skin, with a cute little plush toy and a warm welcome card thoughtfully placed on the bed. The panoramic glass in the bathroom is spacious and grand, with a separate wet and dry area and a bathtub. Details like the wall-mounted hairdryer and wooden pendant lights show meticulous care throughout. What impresses me most, however, is the hotel's service. From the front desk staff and lobby cleaners to the room attendants, every employee has a genuine, sincere smile and treats guests with warmth and politeness. They proactively offer a hand with luggage when they see guests carrying it, and respond quickly to any requests. Their service is detailed and thoughtful without being intrusive – the balance is just right. The hotel is located in the heart of Simao city, making it incredibly convenient for exploring, finding local Dai cuisine, and coffee shops. The environment, hygiene, facilities, and service are all impeccable. It has truly become my reliable and comforting home away from home whenever I visit Pu'er. Next time I come to Pu'er, I will undoubtedly choose Deting again.

The overall hotel experience was excellent. The room was spotless, the bed was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. The front desk staff were very friendly, and both check-in and check-out were quick. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety, including congee, noodles, pastries, and fruit, all fresh and delicious. The location is convenient, close to restaurants and shopping. The bathroom had stable hot water, and the facilities were complete and clean. It offers great value for money, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.

When I started planning our itinerary for our 15 day Yunnan holiday, I plotted out our path to go all the way up to Shangri-la, back down to Kunming and then to Jiaozi Snow Mountain and Dongchuan Red Land. Then I chanced upon a video of Aini Garden and fell in love! The only reason we came to Pu'er was to get to Aini. This was the first place I booked, and I really took a chance because it has a no cancellation policy and I really had to stick to the date once it was made. The initial pre-arrival experience was less than pleasant. I didn't know how we were going to get to the manor and my WeChat messages went unanswered. The hotel we stayed at in Pu'er finally got in touch with someone and got them to message me. I asked how we could get there and the answer was a curt ”take a taxi or charter a car”. No pleasantries of ”we look forward to seeing you” or offering to arrange a car. When we arrived, no one was at reception and no one came out. Our driver was so perplexed he wondered if we were in the right place and if the place was open. Finally a young girl came out and registered us in. There was an air of aloofness from everyone else. However, once we were checked in, things warmed up quickly. We were offered coffee and freshly cut papaya and had a nice introduction chat with the lady staff. The bedroom and bathroom is well appointed, spacious and comfortable. We would have enjoyed sitting on the balcony if the chairs were more comfortable. I love the floor to ceiling glass windows but the panel above the door should also be glass (it is just netting) so traffic sounds from the road actually comes through at night. I actually wanted to book the cottage in the hills but opted for the standard room in the main house because I was worried it would be cold. Big regret as it is actually magnificently located with stunning views. However take note that you will need to call for a buggy ride or make a 1km hike every time you want to eat or get to the main house. If you are self driving, no issues as you can park right next to the cottage. Anyway it's a small price to pay for an unlimited view of the milky way and seclusion. This is as close to a Ryokan experience as you can get in China, minus the hot springs. 3 days 2 nights of blissful, carefree living is not quite enough. They make sure they feed you well, with the freshest produce available for hotpot dinner and home-cooked Yunnanese dishes for lunch. There are so many activities organised, from taking you up the mountain for a glimpse of sunrise (with mountain goats for company ❤️) to coffee plantation education tour to horseback riding along the mountain ridges (the view is spectacular!) to scavenging for wild vegetables and fruits to drinking, dancing and singing around the campfire! So much to do, so little time! One area of improvement I personally would like to see is the coffee serving. They tend to be quite snobbish about how their coffee is taken. Neat, with nothing else. Asking for sugar or milk feels nearly scorned upon. Coffee is a versatile drink and can be savoured in a huge variety of ways. How else is Starbucks so successful? I felt kind of stifled and deprived because I love a good latte and had looked forward to enjoying an unlimited indulgence of coffee throughout our stay. Anyhow, I love the ecotourism efforts here. It feels natural and unpretentious. I love the people and the camaraderie they cultivate. I especially enjoyed talking to their consultant 敬梅, a beautiful lady with extensive knowledge in Yunnan culture and ecological progress. Also thank you to 徐芳 for arranging transport back to town and giving helpful recommendations. We hope to return again.

This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to leave a positive review for a hotel! The accommodation was excellent. They offer complimentary drinks and popsicles on the first floor. I was even upgraded to a better room for free, which I really appreciate. The room was fully equipped with Xiao Du smart controls, making everything super convenient. They also provide free late-night snacks, and the reception staff were incredibly thoughtful. When I asked for one late-night snack, they even offered to let me try a variety of options! The bathroom has a great wet/dry separation design, and in addition to regular towels, they also provide disposable towels. For rooms with bathtubs, they even include bath amenities, which is a nice touch. After checking out, I was able to store my luggage and pick it up later when I returned from my errands.

I stayed at Changlu Hotel for 2 nights this time. How did I discover it? Doubao recommended it! Haha! So I came! First of all, the location is excellent. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the Daijiaxiang Ancient Architectural Complex. From Daijiaxiang to Simao Old Street, then to Wuyi Farmers Market, the whole route is very smooth and convenient. The hotel offers free parking. The front desk provides some small welcome gifts (hand cream, hair ties, eye masks, earplugs... self-service). On the first floor, there's a bar counter offering some simple fruits, snacks, coffee, and tea. There's also a fridge where you can grab bottled water. Upon checkout, they even give you a nail clipper set. Very thoughtful and considerate. The first floor houses the restaurant, which is where breakfast is served. There's a laundry room on the 5th floor. We stayed in a family room. The bed was very large, and the room provided disposable towels, as well as coffee and tea. Outside the hotel, if you turn left and cross the traffic light, there's a supermarket that I personally found quite good for browsing. Overall, the service and facilities are pretty good. Highly recommended!

Facilities: The facilities are relatively new and clean, and there is really no smell of cigarettes. Hot water came quickly. Hygiene: Very clean, including the sofa and bed flags in the room, the bathroom is also equipped with a disposable toilet. Breakfast: There are two breakfasts, with local red rice noodles, as well as Western milk bread and cakes. Children under 120 are free. Praise: I would like to thank the lady at the front desk of the hotel very much. Because I left in a hurry, I forgot to collect the child's teddy bear doll from the quilt when I left. That was my child's Abebei. As mothers know, although it looks like a discarded short-legged teddy bear doll, it is really important to my child. I found it more than 12 hours after leaving the hotel and called the front desk to look for it. When they heard that it was so important to us, they did not perfunctorily deal with it, but kept looking for the cleaning lady and the brother in charge of linens. After three days of non-stop searching, they finally found it in the factory of the linen cleaning company and delivered it back to the lady at the front desk of the hotel in time. After adding WeChat for confirmation, they handed it to the SF Express courier to send it back to us. The child was really happy when she saw her teddy bear was found. We had almost no hope, they were really caring and made our family feel very warm. Recommended to everyone, this is a very warm hotel! It is much worse than Wyndham in Lijiang and Xishuangbanna. The parent-child suite is set. 1. There is no sofa in the suite. There is a chair and table. May I ask which hotel suite has no sofa? The feedback is that there is no chair. 2. In the suite, there is a trash can after the bathroom. I took another trash can in the toilet. How much yellow is it on? Is this the standard that four stars should have? 3. The socket in the house is always out of power. The control panel of the lights in the two suites is messy. One room turns off the lights. The whole house is completely out. You need to plug and unplug the electric card. This is the most basic facility. Why is there still a problem? 4. The hotel said at the beginning Breakfast and lunch were quite unexpected. The breakfast was much worse than Xishuangbanna. The meal was often at 7:30 in the morning. There were often a lot of dishes that were not served at noon and in the morning. The food was the same every day. For customers who set for three days, there was really no appetite in the end. 5. Details The equipment is not in place, the maintenance is not in place, but there is also a better thing than other hotels. The parent-child suite has a full set of toys suitable for children to play. Toiletries. Small tents. Building blocks. Small stools and terraces. It is really good to have a swing. The first established hotel as you enter the mountains, with plenty of parking spaces right across the street, which is very convenient. It's a bit far from the attractions, so you'll need a car. They offer butler-style service; they'll contact you the day before to provide the address, travel tips, and other information. The hotel has a good variety of activities planned, including roasted milk tea, stir-fried melon seeds, and bonfires in the evening. The hotel's dinner was just okay, with plenty of room for improvement. Breakfast on the rooftop had a great ambiance and taste. The rooms aren't luxurious but are perfectly adequate. The air conditioning was a bit old and didn't heat very well. I didn't have time to experience the travel photography session. It was really expensive during Chinese New Year, haha.
