I have been here before. Good things: convenient location to central train station and shops. Nice and relaxing swimming pool with jacuzzi and steam room. Rooms are OK but clean with coffee and tea and ironing facilitie. Staff generally friendly and helpful.
Good breakfast.
Bad things: dinner is limited options, expensive and not good value for money. To add an insult to the injury I had a dessert and there was 1/2 strawberry 🍓 on the top for decoration. I left to last bite to finish with and the taste was terrible. It had onions taste 🤧 my guess they used the same knife for cutting the onions for cutting the strawberry and it was not nice at all - just disgusting and unprofessional. Apart from this everything was good and I would be back but unlikely I would like to here again.

The apartment was very nice and also bigger than we expected. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our one night stay. They also allowed us to take our dog at the last minute as we were let down. It cos £20. It was close to where we were going to see the concert (a 4 minute walk)
The only problem was I paid trip in advance , and Roomzzz charged me again, which I had to ring and find out what was going on. They have said the money will be back in the account in a few days, so let's see

The staff was super kind and helpful! They helped us check-in early and ALSO check-out later with no issue whatsoever!
We also had an issue with the electricity in our room and, after explaining them the situation, they very promptly gave us another room so we could get ready for our event! Not only, in the end there was no need for another room because they rapidly fixed the issue!
Would 100% recommend! The location was also great for both short Uber trips and short walking based on what you prefer/need!

Good value hotel in a very convenient location only a short walk from the Newcastle Central train station. The gentleman on the front desk was very polite and allowed me to store my bag for a few hours before my rooms was available.
The room was clean and bed was comfy and most importantly there was little to no outside noise despite my room backing out towards a road and train track. The bathrooms are little dated but are fully functional and toiletries were included.
I booked a deal inclusive of breakfast and the breakfast was very nice, plenty of hot options such as sausages, bacon and beans etc plus the usual contenital options.

Cannot best the location!!!! Trolley push out of the doors and into the hotel ( or vice versa). No worry about taxi or transfer. Restaurant OK but suffers from the same ailment of so many…. Blinking awful coffee!!!! Also those awful mugs …. I have said before….. I have taken to bringing my own decent mug to drink out of.
I ate in the bar last time - similar menu ( same prices) but no booking of a table required. Just got to put up with TV with constant noise or sport……
They let me leave my luggage while I drop off or pick up a hire car…. About 10 minutes walk away.
Always my first choice.

Hotel is located conveniently next to the river. We had received a very warm welcome by the hotel staff. The room is fully equipped with basic cooking amenities. Just wish to give our special gratitude to the guy welcoming at the front desk, he has granted us everything we need and is super caring to guests. We'll definitely choose this hotel if we travel to this part of the country again.

Great hotel & staff
Previously a marriott so rooms are of very good quality the hotel is is a little run down in places but are you really bothered at this price! It's certainly cheaper and cheerful, free WiFi, free parking, food is expensive but there's more options across the road. Leisure club is £5 extra

Stayed one night - bank holiday Sunday in a Club double room with full English buffet breakfast and a drinks voucher each included. We stayed in room 511 which seemed slightly more spacious than other rooms of this type however only had a partial river view due to being at the end of the corridor. On booking we had requested to have additional pillows for the bed and this was done for our arrival. A very good overnight stay in a hotel located within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants on the quayside. Will be a returning guest .

Great
AAnonymous UserThe room was nice and the breakfast was very good. The hotel is located close to the river, and it was very enjoyable to sit by the window of the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The room refrigerator provides free drinks, which is very friendly to guests. The only downside is that the hotel parking space is too small, and cars that arrive late can only park outside the hotel. The hotel restaurant serves Italian food. To be honest, the quality is average. If it is not for the good view, you don't have to eat in the hotel.
AAnonymous UserGreat hotel for the money, well furnished with good food and drinks options. Traveling around is easy with the metro down the road and the bus stop right outside that takes you direct into town.
GGuest UserNot bad, a little far from the train station, but close to the river, there are many bars. But the hotel is a bit old. There is a good English breakfast shop and ice cream shop nearby.

QQQ_QQGood location. 8 - 10 mins from train station. Located at city center easy to access anywhere to China town, shopping mall and restaurants. Staff is cool without smile face, quick check in and check out. Room is clear and good size for big luggage. However a bit noisy at the night time because there’s a disco next to the hotel, weekend will be party at the night til late. Overall is good for us and will consider to stay next time.
GGuest UserWe checked in and checked straight back out again after going into the room. The room was tiny definitely not suitable for more than 1 person. The ”double” bed was pushed right up against a wall and wasn't much bigger than a single bed. Room was dusty all over. The bathroom was bigger than the actual room although you couldn't actually sit on the toilet properly as the sink cabinet was right next to the toilet. The room stank of food as I'm guessing was above the kitchen as the big fans were next to the window. Couldn't open the window as the smell of food was then even worse so the room stank like burger grease. Room was really hot as the radiator was turned on however couldn't turn it off and opening the window wasn't an option either. Reception area is really nicely presented but definitely not a reflection on the rooms which are poor to say the least. Ended up booking into a second hotel round the corner which is amazing complete opposite end of the scale in comparison to the first. Unfortunately meant we've ended up paying for 2 hotels just for 1 night but lesson learnt.
刘刘The location of this hotel is very good. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the bustling shopping mall pedestrian street. The hotel room is exactly the same as the picture. It is very clean and the staff is also responsible for asking you whether to clean the room every day. Every time I come to Newcastle It’s all set in this hotel, and the price is very good.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the ancient city, with a very unique, classical and stylish decoration and appearance. You can walk to the river in a few minutes. Recommended! If you arrive by car, the hotel has a doorman to keep your car keys, which is quite interesting.
GGuest UserThe staff at the hotel was very friendly. As we booked quite close to our actual trip date we didn't get a great room. Our room was at the end of the hallway next to the staff elevator. unfortunately, the door to that elevator was open half the time we were there with food scraps waiting to be taken away out in the open area. This led to ”food smells” being wafted into our room. we had to open the window the moment we entered our room because of the stuffy smell but once the window was open and there was ventilation, everything was fine.
PPieter BrolsmaGreat if you have to be in this area, nice bars inside the hotel. It is a bit outdated compared to more modern hotels and personally I don't like carpet flooring too much but it's typical in the older hotels in the UK, at least they were clean and had no bad smell. Supermarket very close by. Metrostation jesmond West around 6 minutes walking distance.
