It’s a lovely older house with a perfect breakfast! Nice and polite staff, very helpful. In the backyard there are some works so there is actually no outdoor place. Breakfast was amazing because of the fruits.. after many days with just English Breakfast 🙃 The only thing that is not good is internet connection. Poor!

Beautiful hotel only 10 minutes walk from the city centre  Our room was clean and cosy  In the room was hairdryer, iron and ironing board as well as tea/coffee facilities and an electric fan which was definitely needed with temps reaching 29 degrees 🥵 The outdoor area was stunning with lots of seating and little pods to dine in of an evening very pretty all lit up at night  All the staff were friendly and helpful  We will definitely return in the near future.

Located within a golf course, the hotel boasts a tranquil, peaceful, and comfortable environment with beautiful scenery. However, it's quite far from the city center, about a 30-minute drive from York's Old Town. If you're not traveling by car, it's not the best choice for accommodation. But if you have a car, it's an excellent option as parking is free. The hotel has two restaurants with good food, but they are very expensive and the portions are small – typical fine dining. If you don't want to spend too much on food, it's best to eat in the city before entering the hotel.

Hotel Indigo in York has a great location near to the city wall. It’s a very easy city to walk and it was nice to pop back to drop of shopping and have a rest during the day. The room was very quiet, the bed was super comfy and the shower had excellent pressure. Breakfast had lots of choice and was yummy. I really enjoyed my stay as the staff were friendly and helpful. Will stay here again when I visit York next!!

Great little hotel in a cool location just outside York, around a 10 minute walk to the city wall, not much around the hotel but close enough to make the trip walkable. The building is beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfast was a fantastic small buffet with a great to order breakfast. The English breakfast was fantastic. Would recommend it to anyone traveling to York!

A small villa, the room is clean and tidy, very warm and quiet, the service is very good and warm, we live on the 3rd floor, there is no elevator, the suitcase is the store to help get the room, parking is also convenient. The environment of Zhou is good, and it is convenient to travel. It takes 20 minutes to walk along the river to see the tourist attractions in the downtown area. Only breakfast is very expensive. Two nights a day is a pleasant experience.

We’ve stayed at Delta Hotels York multiple times now, and it continues to be a fantastic choice every single visit. This was our 6th stay, and once again, it was a solid 10/10 experience. The hotel is always spotless—super clean and tidy throughout—which makes a big difference the moment you walk in. The room service is top-notch, and everything feels well thought out and well maintained. We especially appreciated the welcoming amenities in the room, including a great selection of coffee and the Ninja coffee pod machine, which was a lovely touch. The rooms and bathrooms are impressively spacious, with plenty of room to relax comfortably. It never feels cramped, which really adds to the overall experience. The staff are consistently friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful, making every stay smooth and enjoyable. Another big plus for us is the leisure facilities—the jacuzzi and pool are a great bonus and perfect for unwinding. On top of that, the on-site parking is safe, convenient, and reasonably priced, which is one of the main reasons we keep choosing this hotel when visiting York. Overall, a reliable and welcoming place that never disappoints. We’ll definitely be back again.

This hotel is too old, like an early-generation Hanting hotel. The facilities really need an upgrade. It's about a 12-pound taxi ride from York city center. There's plenty of parking, and everything else is fine, but the facilities are just outdated. Personally, I wouldn't recommend Mercure York Fairfield Manor Hotel.

Overall, I wouldn't really recommend it. The location is okay, just outside the city walls. However, all the rooms are in the attic, requiring two flights of very narrow stairs, making it impossible to bring up even a slightly larger suitcase. The floors are uneven, and in some areas, it feels like they could easily collapse; even with a carpet, they still creak when you walk on them. What's even more frustrating is that the attic is already stuffy, and a constant instant noodle smell drifts up from the downstairs restaurant. On the night we checked in, we found one of the air conditioners wasn't working, but the front desk said the maintenance staff had already left for the day and could only provide us with a small electric fan.

The journey to York went through the following steps Train cancellation—Raining🌧️Bitter wind and rain without an umbrella—Hotel front desk off work—Find the back door of the hotel parking lot—Climbed to the 4th floor with the suitcase—Smell-good toiletries that really healed❤️🩹—Soft bed🛏️The next morning—Another beautiful day Ctrip’s customer service staff was very👍responsible. If it weren’t for the customer service guy who kept trying to communicate and find a solution, I would have had to find another hotel on the day.
