4-Star Hotels in Surabaya

Stayed for one night during a layover. Overall, it was good. It's rare to find a hotel where you're not bothered by street noise downstairs. The only downside is the restaurant food is terrible and there's nothing else around. My advice is to eat before you arrive.

the room is really comfy, the breakfast was great, but i hape there’s another option for the savory one, especially the western food. the coffee was really good even though it came from a coffee machine, i got a 7th floor room and the night view was great, also really close to Graha Pena, there are a plenty options of food there, so if you’re hungry at night, just walk for 15-20 minutes and you’re arrived for me the location was great, near to airport and some of bus offices, but in front of it was a train track, so even at night it kinda noisy, the room isn’t a soundproof room, i can hear a lot of noises from the room besides me

Good location, room, gym and breakfast. If I stop here, it will only be a very regular comment. I would say the hotel is operated by warm heart staff trying all means to help guests. We encountered a big issue with car rental,with no E-Toll card prepared by the rental car company. I just asked Dimas Adhytyawarman the duty manager where to buy e-Toll, Dimas not only told me the supermarkets to buy it, more importantly, he checked with colleagues and informed us that the supermarket cannot charge e-Toll and banks are closed during weekend. We still tried our luck to check these supermarkets, but only came back to hotel with a card without money. When Dimas saw my husband be back to the lobby, he asked him how it went. Understanding that we were not able to solve it, he and his colleague Andrey even tried to use their own e-bank to get some money for us to enter the freeway and then we can top the card on the way. Eventually, they helped us solve the problem completely. Without their full commitment to service, problem-solving mindset, caring for people, we would not be able to start a great vacation to Bromo and Sewu driving by our own. Once more, sincere thanks to Dimas Adhytyawarman and Andrey. I believe they will have a great career with all their wonderful traits.

Excellent value for money! I stayed in Surabaya for over 10 days and tried several hotels, and this one truly stands out for its breakfast quality. They offer a wide variety of fruits, various local desserts (though I didn't quite dare to try them), and even ice cream. What I particularly loved, though, was the daily availability of hot ginger and hot cinnamon tea.

The room could use a proper deep clean as you can see grime in places like the shower head or the toilet flush but overall it was a nice suite. The complimentary drinks and snacks were very generous. The breakfast boxes were great and the laundry was fast and effective but I realized later that they didn’t return my laundry bag which was disappointing. Also it took a long time for the reception to confirm whether they could get my laundry done within 14 hours and they passed me along to a lot of different people to confirm that.

We enjoy our stay here. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food for breakfast is variety and delicious. The location is strategic, near the mall and hot spot around surabaya. Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

I had request for non smoking room and away from elevator but I got room in front of elevator and smoking room, buat it's still ok, hopefully next time the hotel can concern to special request

Before I begin the review, let me say that the front desk staff of the hotel have been extremely understanding and accomodating. They ensured most of my complaints were addressed. So this review isn't a reflection on them. They graciously changed my room three times due to the following issues I faced. But having said that, the hotel itself is a disaster. The walls were essentially thin cardboard and you could hear everything from the adjacent rooms - from people coughing their lungs out, sneezing, talking to ********** - literally everything. In the bathroom you hear some continuously banging noise coming from somewhere as if there is construction going on - maybe it's from the plumbing. You surely need ear plugs if you decide to get a good night's rest. There were mosquitos in the room I was given on the first night. There was also no hot water in the bathroom at night. It was at best luke-warm. The safe was not working and the sheets and pillow covers were stained. The couch was stained. The worst part about the first room was a serious hygeine issue. The commodes have a retractable bidet. It was covered in faeces. It was too disgusting to take a picture of but I showed it to the manager. After I complained they changed the room but I couldn't sleep properly because of loud neighbours in the adjacent room. You can also see from the pictures that the rooms aren't maintained well. There's water seepage and damaged furniture. I had to request a change of room again but even this room had loud neighbours and a poorly cleaned bathroom with hair everywhere. I just cleaned it myself and adjusted as this was my last night of the stay. I ended up staying in 3 different rooms during my 3 night stay. This hotel needs to be shut down and renovated. They first need to build proper walls in between rooms. Their housekeeping staff also needs proper training.

The room was spotless, with pristine white sheets and duvet covers, gleaming floors, and no unpleasant odors in the bathroom. The bedding was comfortable, with soft mattresses and pillows, and the soundproofing was excellent, allowing for a quiet and good night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, check-in was quick, and they were always ready to answer questions and proactively assist with luggage. Great value for money, with affordable prices, comprehensive facilities, and a good variety of delicious breakfast options. Overall, it exceeded expectations.
