Hygiene: Yellow stains that had not been cleaned were found on the toilet
Environment: Halfway up Mount Wakakusa, isolated from the outside noise. The overall design style is modern Japanese. If you want to experience pure Japanese living, you should pay attention to the difference
Service: The service is still worthy of praise. The driver and front desk staff are very enthusiastic. They helped arrange the car to go up the mountain in the morning. It was very lucky to see 👀 deer🦌 on a rainy day
Food: Most of the food arranged is made from local ingredients in Nara. The ingredients are not gorgeous, the taste is OK, and it is more down-to-earth

酸菜魚The 12 tatami room was very spacious and clean, and the room smelled refreshing. Moreover, Japanese hospitality and their attention to detail made the whole stay very pleasant. Both breakfast and dinner were amazing. We also informed the Ryokan that this was our 6th anniversary trip and they gave us free photography, which was lovely! Location wise, it is conveniently located right next to Nara park, and just an easy 15min walk away from Nara station or 10min away from Kitetsu line.

A fantastic designer hotel. The one-night stay with two meals is perfect for a relaxing vacation. All meals are in private rooms with a wonderful ambiance. The kaiseki dinner was excellent; I highly recommend trying it if you're staying at the hotel.
The service was meticulous, and there was Chinese-speaking staff, so communication was no problem at all.
Feeding the deer during the day and soaking in the private onsen in the afternoon was so relaxing and enjoyable. I slept very well and felt completely at ease. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Nara!

We went by car!
There was a parking lot where guests could park for free.
The location was also great, as it was only about a 15-minute walk to Todaiji Temple.
We booked a room with dinner and breakfast included, and both were delicious and very satisfying (;;)
They provided petit cakes in the evening, which we enjoyed eating while doodling in our memory notebook!
They even have a hot spring!
The inside of the hotel was very clean, and everything was great, so we were very satisfied!
If I come to Nara again, I'd love to stay here!

The hotel is very enjoyable, located in the historic center and right at the entrance to Nara Park with deer. In the meantime, deer themselves are also walking near the hotel area. The service in the hotel has not been disappointed, the staff are very welcome. Breakfasts were very surprised (for each guest their kitchen). I am sure we will come back again

The hotel is a little far from the JR station, you have to take a bus, but you can walk to Kintetsu Nara Station. The location is next to Toda Temple, and it is very convenient to Nara Park and other attractions. The hotel staff has a first-class service attitude, very attentive, fluent English answers, and patiently explained various hotel facilities and services. There are also small gifts for staying here, and the content of the gift is not spoiled first, but it is really heartwarming. In terms of room facilities, the open-air wind is very comfortable, and it is a great joy in life to soak in the weather with only zero degrees outside. The room was clean and satisfactory, the space was large, the 𧝁𧝁 meter mattress was also very comfortable, I slept well, and cleaned the tiredness of the journey for a day. In terms of dining, dinner and breakfast are both Japanese food, very exquisite, fresh ingredients, and a good dining experience.
The stay was very good and highly recommended.

The hotel is in the forest, and you can walk along the mountain road to the hotel (it would be inconvenient to walk in to get your luggage, you can take a taxi to the door of the hotel). The scenery is so beautiful, leaving the noisy tourist area and getting close to nature. Dinner is kaiseki, in a private restaurant room, a great experience! When checking in, the time for dinner and breakfast will be arranged, and the time of the private bath room will be confirmed, and the service staff will come to the room to call. The breakfast has traditional tea and rice, delicious 😋The room is traditional Japanese style, not low-key luxury design. The environment is awesome!

It is not just a hotel, but a unique portal in Japan's history. Located in carefully renovated buildings of the former sake brewery, it offers a rare combination of the authentic spirit of the Edo era and the perfect modern comfort. Space rooms with a wooden fragrance, as well as private gardens, create an atmosphere of absolute privacy in Nara 's heart. A separate admiration is worthy of a high kitchen: breakfast here is turned into a gastronomic journey across the region using the best seasonal products. Attentive staff and attention to every detail make staying here unforgettable is the perfect place for those looking for silence, aesthetics and truly Japanese hospitality.” And after breakfast, Oleni came to us in the garden!!!!

The hotel is within walking distance of Kintetsu Yamato-Saidaiji Station and is also in a great location, just 3-4 minutes from Heijo Ruins Park. It's also perfectly located for soaking in hot springs, which are extremely rare in Nara City.
The downside is that the facilities are old, and there are issues with facility management and maintenance, such as room and bathroom locks not locking in some places. Also, the hand washing areas in the rooms are not flush with the rooms, making them difficult to use.
We strongly urge the hotel management to ensure that the age of the facilities does not become apparent.

We love the special Japanese style rooms. The garden is big. But this property is a bit too cold in winter time. Owner locked one aircon in the room. Only left one aircon on, which is not enough during night time. We were suffering all the nights and early morning.
I suggest owner to provide at least one mirror at the property, we couldn’t find any mirror for make-up.
