Booked a parent-child room. The room is big, the front desk lady is very enthusiastic, seeing that my baby is tall, she will considerately give me an adult bathrobe. The room design is very warm, the type that children like, there are baby toilets, children's bathrobes, small tents, hot springs are relatively few, only 8, the pool is relatively small, the small fish hot spring is the most popular, sitting around the circle are all children
Shushan scenery is very beautiful, ten thousand acres of pear fields, there is a small bamboo forest, the air is very fresh, all around the circle is about 7 kilometers, there are electric shared cars for rent at the door, you can drive 12 kilometers, the children are reluctant to leave when leaving, prepare to come again in winter should be another scenery

In order to go to Tianping Mountain Scenic Area early in the morning, I chose the Hermitage Cultural Hotel opposite Tianping Mountain. I arrived at night. The room was quite large and antique. The next day, when I opened the window, the beautiful garden scenery came into view. The noodles for breakfast were very good. Breakfast started at 7 o'clock. After breakfast, I went to the scenic area immediately. It was just across the road, which was very convenient. Before the large group of tour groups arrived, I took beautiful photos and climbed the mountain. I was very satisfied with this trip. Hotel accommodation only requires the front desk to report the license plate number.

It is rare to take two days off, and it takes less than 2 hours to drive from Shanghai. The homestay was blindly booked, but I liked it unexpectedly. Just by the Taihu Lake, many small details gave us a lot of surprises. The various facilities in the room are very complete, the bedding is very comfortable, the hygiene is very clean, and it can be seen that the ulterior motive is being maintained.
On the terrace, basking in the sun, holding a book, preparing a cup of coffee, listening to the lake and the croaking of seagulls, so I thought nothing of it, and sat for a long time. It was a rare healing moment at the end of this November.

The hotel is in a great location with convenient transportation to all the famous attractions. The rooms are comfortable and sanitary, and the area is large, so it is quite comfortable to live in. What exceeded my expectations the most was that the service staff were very enthusiastic and the service was in place. Especially the front desk staff Xiao Huang, who was sincere and enthusiastic, making people feel at home. Overall, I think the hotel is very cost-effective and highly recommended.

Room are spacious , great shower, good breakfast . Staff super nice and helpful.
Housekeeping is really busy guess a bit understaffed at the moment
For amenities unfortunately gym was under renovation and I booked it for this .. was a little disappointed but would deffo stay here again . Hope it’s finished next time

JJairoOur experience at this hotel could not have been better—it was truly beyond our expectations. The location is perfect, nestled in a historic house with sophisticated decor that exudes charm and elegance. The staff went above and beyond to please us, attending to every detail with care.
Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a delicious afternoon tea, featuring a homemade tiramisu that was absolutely delightful. The staff is well-prepared to receive foreign guests; Miss Yang, in particular, speaks excellent English and is very kind.
Overall, we strongly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and exceptional stay in Zhouzhuang.

The store owner is very nice, it's hard to find the place by myself, turning left and right, fortunately the store owner sent a butler to the gate to greet us, the butler is Vietnamese, a little bit 🈶 can't understand us, but later we can still communicate well, arrived at the inn location, and took the initiative to help me with the luggage 🧳.
Facilities:
In addition to the antique style, it adds furniture used in the old times, etc., which makes you feel like you are in the wrong era, but it's quite casual, not bad, clean and hygienic

RRuthWe were happy with our stay here. The room was nicer than it looked online, and the hotel was really clean. There are playrooms for young children that are free (3 rooms with some different toys in each room). The rooms are a bit old and tired, but my 2 year old enjoyed playing there and requested UK hi back lots of times. For parents it is just great to have somewhere for your kid to play and have fun, especially as the weather was very cold when we went! Outside there is a play area and sand digging pit. Location is walking distance from Tongli old town. Restaurant does evening buffet, and buffet breakfast. The food is fine, more Chinese than western, my husband really liked it and my favourite part was the Beijing roast duck at dinner. The pool is warm, with floats and rubber rings to borrow. There is a little land train, it takes a 10 minute trip around the hotel grounds and the cost is 20RMB for one adult and child. For me it was very boring but my son loved it 😂
The staff are very warm and friendly, everyone is very professional. Each guest is connected to a butler on wechat before they arrive so you can easily send a message and get some help. Our butler is Yu Ting and she helped us very professionally.
For me, the things the hotel can improve are (1) the animal petting zoo - by western standard the facilities for the animals are not very good, just concrete enclosure with hut. For foreigners, we do not really like this. (2) We had a problem with the other guests smoking in the hotel, eg in the coffee bar. When I complained to the staff they tried to stop the guests, but even though they repeatedly reminded them to stop, the other guests continued. In the end they arranged for me to move to a private room near the bar where I could avoid the smoking. I was very grateful that they found a solution for me and my baby, but I am speechless there are such guests who flagrantly break the rules and the hotel cannot stop them. We smelled smoke in some different public areas, so maybe this is a problem with several guests 🙁
Overall we are happy with our stay and it is a good place to spend a few days with kids.

GGuest UserPros: Very good location for walking around Pingjiang road. Very handy Suzhou train station pick up service, would recommend utilising for anyone arriving by train. The room was spacious and the bed really comfortable.
Cons: bathroom had a bad smell emanating from it. There was quite a lot of construction happening while we were there, started around 7am and didn’t finish until after midnight. Would recommend bringing ear buds. Shower pressure was ok but not amazing. There is also no elevator so you will need to climb one flight of stairs to reach the rooms which are all on the first floor.

PPo LingOur twin room is very spacious and cozy. We loved how the staff speedily gave us an air purifier when we said we smelled some cigarettes smell. It helped refreshing the room fairly quickly. The fixtures and fittings are very useful, from good size of wardrobes, suitcase space, sofa, desk, bed and pillow are reasonably comfortable and not too soft. Housekeeping is very neat and tidy as well. We particularly like the open view from window facing the shopping arcade (traditional low rise houses). Last but not least, we wanna thank Hailey Song for going an extra mile and helped us return a parcel to SF upon check-out. Will recommend others upon their visit to Suzhou :)

Qqueen_kooIf you’re looking for a perfect 4 star venue in the city centre then look no further! This place is a good bargain all round the year and even in peak seasons. I am going to split my review into sections so bare with me.
1) Rooms: The outdated the rooms need a serious paint jobs and the couch is quite “scratchy” material wise. Despite the interior eye sore, the flats are quite cosy with everything you need. Scenery wise , those who aren’t afraid of heights request the balcony rooms ! Maybe they don’t have the views of the shanghai centre shopping mall but the evening breeze did put me to sleep like a baby! Also the television was well packed with nostalgic movies , I really enjoyed the entertainment. Although the TV volume doesn’t go too loud , I guess it’s good respect to the neighbors some of who are long term tenants.
2) Service: Impeccable. The people here, although clearly overworked are so nice! The housekeepers are all so wonderful ! They were the ones who let me come back to a clean flat everyday , really it was a piece of home with a whole lot of help! For shampoos and conditioners and shower gel you would need to let the front desk know you need it, so please keep that in mind!
3) Breakfast: Just enough for survival , I’m quite particular about my tastes in food where the buffet options were too less and unfortunately not too tasty. But I was able to survive…I really hope they can fix this though cause the place although cheaper than others isn’t exactly cheap as well. If you want a good breakfast spread , you will be left heavily disappointed.
There’s a lot of cost cutting the hotel group has done and it’s obvious…I hope Ascott takes this into consideration cause it’s not good to have better hotels around the world but keep smaller cities forgotten and tightly budgeted!!
Suzhou is quite expensive than other cities due to the constant influx of tourists.
I don’t usually write much for my reviews but In this case I seem to care after seeing the overworked hotel staff and the poor conditions around them.
Come on Ascott do better. I initially was tempted to give a 3/5 review stars but it’s the people that pushed it up.

Service: Just contact the hotel when checking in. They are very responsible and enthusiastic.
