Just opening the window, you can see the shimmering waters of Taihu Lake. Wake up to birdsong in the morning, and sit on the terrace in the evening, watching the sunset paint the lake a golden red. Every photo you take is a wallpaper-worthy picture! The room is warm and stylish, and the bedding is as soft as clouds. You can spend an entire afternoon just curled up and enjoying the lake view. Every staff member is so nice and service-oriented. The one-hour KTV included in the package was free, even though we didn't make a reservation later. Such a thoughtful touch! I'll definitely be back! Upon check-out, everyone was given a cup of coffee. So sweet and thoughtful! Come on, ladies! Just snapped some photos without filters! It's very close to Shigong Mountain and Mingyuewan Ancient Village. After a tiring day, come back for a bath and fall asleep to the lake breeze—that's what a vacation should be like! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Xishan. I'm already missing that lake view.

The guesthouse is located on Hengshan Island, easily accessible a short distance after arriving. Stepping inside, the all-white decor felt incredibly refreshing. Initially, I was a bit disappointed with the room: it wasn't particularly spacious, and the 'lake view' was more of a shallow, green-filled area rather than the expansive lake I had imagined. It did, however, come with a private terrace and a small plunge pool. But once I settled in, dipping my feet into the pool and lying back as a gentle breeze swept over me, I found a unique sense of comfort and tranquility – something city life rarely offers. The entire guesthouse was immaculately clean, including the terrace. Despite its lakeside location, there were virtually no unpleasant odors, mosquitoes, or flies, and privacy was excellent. Most dining and entertainment options are on Xishan Island, which is just a short drive away. Hengshan Island itself has limited facilities beyond guesthouses. After two days, I realized 'Mysterious Azure' (迷之蔚蓝) actually offered great value for money, as similar guesthouses with terraces were significantly more expensive. If the outdoor pool were heated, it would be fantastic for a winter stay as well.
