I tangled online for a long time and chose this homestay! Overall it is very good, very clean and tidy! The boss sister is very good, and she also helps with luggage. She is very caring. The service is on call. The restaurant is on the first floor. There is also a table tennis table, a KTV room, and a mahjong machine room. All facilities are complete. I told you that you can use ～ casually. There is also a large platform upstairs. When the weather is good, it is really comfortable to blow a small wind on it to bask in the sun, drink coffee and chat. ～ If you come next time, you will stay at this ～ very warm! The breakfast boss is also very rich. There is no way to play around. We are a leisure tour. We sleep until we wake up naturally. Next time we need to make some adjustments to see the surrounding places to play! Time is a bit rushed, come back next time ～

There were obviously not many rooms available, but the merchant refused to accept my order, saying that the rooms were full. I drove halfway and didn't want to look for it anymore. I saw on Ctrip that I could place an order directly without the merchant's confirmation, and check in directly when I arrived.
What is the merchant doing? Don't want to accept the order?
Or just to make an extra 20 yuan difference?
I am impressed by such a low-level operation.

TTuscany RoseI am absolutely in love with this hotel! First of all, the hotel is located inside the scenic spot. One of the staff called me in advance to arrange a time to pick me up at the entrance of the scenic spot. My Chinese is not good so normally it's very awkward for me to speak over the phone in Chinese but she was very patient with me which I appreciate. Not only did she escort me to the hotel but she also carried my luggage for me.
The decor inside the hotel has a beautiful, rustic asthetic which matches the feel of the ancient town. I really like table and chairs in my room, overlooking the pond. The pond also has koi fish and turtles! It was a beautiful touch that added to the overrall feel of the hotel. I loved these little details such as theovely traditional Chinese tea set (with a variety of complementary loose tea leaves), and the stylish coffee mugs.
Unfortunately I came to Zhouzhuang during a severe typhoon which caused a leak and power cut in my room, so when I alerted the staff, they immediately gave me a new room. They even helped me pack my things so I can change rooms as soon as possible. The new room I went to was equally as beautiful.
Not only is the hotel beautiful but it also has great amenities. Both rooms I stayed in had a stone bathtub which were both very deep -you could float it in! If you come here, I would recommend you bring some bubble bath with you like I did for maximum relaxation. I also made good use of the pool. The pool is a little small and a bit too shallow for an adult, but you can still have an enjoyable swim. Lastly, the tea room and cafés are also a nice addition to the hotel. My second room didn't have a table and chairs like the original one I booked, so I went to the tea room to eat my breakfast. It's also a cozy and comfortable room just to relax in if you're feeling lazy.
As I have mentioned throughout this review, the service is second to none. Not only did the staff help me get to the hotel, but after I checked out they also carried my luggage and escorted me to the taxi. Throughout my stay I was offered fresh fruit and coffee several times, and as I mentioned earlier, I was immediately helped when I had to change my room. Whenever I struggled to communicate in Mandarin, the staff would try their best to speak English or would be patient with my hesitation or mispronunciation in Mandarin. This is probably the best ever service I have experienced on my travels.
In summary, it's a beautiful hotel, in a convenient location with great facilities and helpful and kind staff. Not only will I come back again (and with my family next time) but I will recommend all my friends and colleagues to stay at this hotel if they ever plan to visit Zhouzhuang.

The hotel is fully equipped, the room is clean and tidy, and the stay is very comfortable. SsmilingwillaThe accommodation experience at Zhouzhuang Mailun Academy (former residence of Shen Tilan) is impressive. This late Qing Dynasty heritage-protected building enclosed by high walls is carefully decorated in a modern Shanghai-style style, retaining the historical charm while incorporating modern comfort and convenience. The accommodation environment is elegant and peaceful, as if you are in an exquisite Jiangnan water town painting.
The B&B has complete internal facilities, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the beds are soft and comfortable, allowing you to have a good night's sleep. Especially the scenery of the B&B, whether taking pictures or relaxing, is very stylish and makes people linger. The afternoon tea and breakfast provided by the B&B are also very delicious. While enjoying the delicious food, you can also feel the unique charm of Zhouzhuang.
The environment around Mailun Academy is also very beautiful. You can reach various attractions in Zhouzhuang Ancient Town within walking distance, making it very suitable for family outings or couples' vacations. Staying here, you can not only feel the history and culture of Zhouzhuang, but also enjoy a rare tranquility and leisure.
In addition, it was a pleasure to chat with the shop owner and the guy in the shop. Their friendly attitude can quickly break down the barriers between strangers and make communication easy and pleasant. Their smiles, kind words and active participation in topics make people feel at home and comfortable. Whether it is an introduction about local customs and customs, or a sharing of life, work, and dreams, people can gain new insights and inspiration through communication. GGuest UserNow, I can sit here and tell you that we’re staying in an eco-friendly hotel that even though you’re inside its high glass windows gives you an outdoor vibe. I can even sit and talk about the saline pool, its state-of-the-art gym and list all the amenities; and I can even talk about the number of rooms and the fact that as we speak there’s an international summit going on here.
Somehow that won’t speak about my experience here at this hotel. Elements (by Westin) Suzhou Science & Technology Town does have all of the above BUT what I love about this hotel is its Staff. I love the fact that they seem to be always be here. I somehow believe that they live onsite because they’re always around.
In the morning, even before I enter the Salon I hear, “Nǐ hǎo Marsha” from the Breakfast Host, followed up by the nice lady in the Salon, smiling at me and ushering me to the coffee machine, while handing me my 2 brown sugar packs. She knows my morning habits so quickly. Not only that, because they knew Peter was missing from my breakfast table for a few mornings, they now signal to me with take away containers for Peter, to have his breakfast in the room.
When we need to go anywhere the young ladies at the Front Desk (no matter which Shift) are always either asking us where we need to go so that they can call a CASH taxi to get us to our destination. One of them even came with me one day to the Bank of China’s ATM and sat in the taxi while I went in and conducted my business and accompanied me to the Campus to visit Jon-Marc. Yesterday, one of them even used her own Didi account to get us transportation back to the hotel and we reimbursed her (and walked away while she was trying to give us back our change because we knew she wouldn’t have taken the Tip as is their custom). How else could we have shown her how grateful we were for her kind gesture?
Then there is Simon Jiang, the General Manager, who speaks perfect English and is always there to assist and offer suggestions of things to do and places to go. Simon was the one who actually explained to me that you can’t just walk into a pharmacy and get anything without a prescription. What I can tell you is that even though he is the GM he is always on hand assisting the staff with their work. Even though there is a clear hierarchy here, he takes off his jacket and assists in the kitchen, you can sometimes see him helping the older ladies bring out the heavy equipment (if needed) when they’re cleaning the floors, clear tables, etc.
Or Alex Ju, the Assistant General Manager, who accompanied Peter and I to the hospital and stayed and spoke with the doctor and the international insurance department on our behalf (in Mandarin) to make everything a little easier for us.
These people are the ones who have made my stay here memorable and I can honestly say that its because of them that I would recommend Elements by Westin in Suzhou to ANYONE who wanted a place to stay without hassle and with a host of helpful, courteous, friendly staff. It has been my pleasure having encountered such warm, friendly, delightful and gentle human beings.

PPo LingOur twin room is very spacious and cozy. We loved how the staff speedily gave us an air purifier when we said we smelled some cigarettes smell. It helped refreshing the room fairly quickly. The fixtures and fittings are very useful, from good size of wardrobes, suitcase space, sofa, desk, bed and pillow are reasonably comfortable and not too soft. Housekeeping is very neat and tidy as well. We particularly like the open view from window facing the shopping arcade (traditional low rise houses). Last but not least, we wanna thank Hailey Song for going an extra mile and helped us return a parcel to SF upon check-out. Will recommend others upon their visit to Suzhou :)

FFreelaxMy maiden trip to China and Suzhou is my 2nd stop. I’m a Singaporean and I was proud to learn that our past 3 Prime Ministers have stayed in the same hotel. The hotel was an ancient castle therefore the compound is huge. We have free access to the Panmen. We were given free self service laundry. Breakfast was good spread. Walking distance to Metro and canal boat ride. Actually we also have got free one hour Hanfu experience but we paid for a 宫宴 dinner which was next to the hotel. Before our stay, I have requested to the hotel for a simple deco for our room as it was my husband’s birthday. Not only did they helped me to decorate the room, they gave us a big cake and also upgraded our room. We had a memorable stay. Thank you very much

LLaoDaWeiThis was my go to hotel in Suzhou for location and price. The room facilities are excellent - with a fully equipped kitchen. The rooms are not modern but have a dated charm - there is also a window in the bathroom and a bathtub for those that like a soak.
The breakfast is above average.
My one complaint AND IT'S A BIG ONE! In the executive studios the bathroom doors have been wedged open - this is clearly a privacy issue but also the kitchen is next to the bathroom. No-one wants to stare at a toilet while they are cooking lunch. What were the management thinking - ruining a perfectly good room! A couple of stars knocked off until that issue is sorted!
