"We totally recommend this hotel. It's in a beautiful old building, very well preserved and refurbished, and in a great location: in the Xidi old town, but a little bit more isolated, in the more quiet and less touristy area. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very stylish, it even had a tiny annexed studio room with desk and interesting books with a good kettle and tea set available. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a very nice bathtub and heated toilet. Our host was super nice and helpful, he came to pick us up and dropped us at the bus station at the end of our stay. He's really friendly and gave us some nice tips on visiting the surrounding villages. He has a very cute dog and a cuddly cat :) Only negative comment: the room's window is on the side of the main road, so you can hear all the cars passing by. But even then, a great stay!"

"The famous hotel includes Lu Village tickets, and there will be handsome guys to pick up at the parking lot. This stay is really as warm as returning to my grandparents' house! The homestay is a very tasteful ancient Huizhou building. On rainy days, I sit on the porch and watch the koi and potted plants in the courtyard. The blue tiles and white walls are equipped with red lanterns. The atmosphere is directly full and the photos are huge. The Chinese wooden tables and chairs in the room are also very textured, clean and comfortable, and there are kittens with super relatives, which are soft and particularly healing. The breakfast was made by grandparents themselves. The variety was rich and authentic. It was warm all day after eating. Grandparents were very enthusiastic throughout the whole process. They were patient to help with any needs. They spoke softly and softly, and there was no sense of distance at all. It’s really suitable to come here to play and live here. The environment is beautiful and the service is warm. I will definitely stay here next time!"

The lake-view room we booked had a view of the Moon Pond, and from the third-floor terrace, we could see the rooftops of Hongcun Village and the Moon Pond. "The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the facilities are excellent. The food is delicious too! Most importantly, the staff are all incredibly nice, warm, and attentive. They helped us with our luggage, and even offered pick-up and drop-off services to and from the scenic area. "The view from the homestay is superb. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offer a panoramic view of the mountains outside. Opposite is the entrance to the Hongcun Scenic Area, with a wide field of view. The homestay has a small courtyard that is very suitable for a nap. The boss is also very enthusiastic. He even gave me a bag of Huangshan sesame cakes before leaving. Haha.
