Taichung South District Hotels

It is located right next to a Catholic Church, easy to identify. Staying there was a nice experience, cost effective. Will consider to choose again.

advantage: Good location (the road in front is the famous Zhongxiao Night Market, no need to worry about food, there are many choices) There is enough space in the room, so you don't have to worry about not being able to open your suitcase. The counter staff are very friendly and any problems can be solved immediately. shortcoming: The bathroom equipment is a bit old and the space design is a bit stuck (because the toilet is behind the door when it is opened) There was a puddle of water on the sink when I first entered the room, but I didn't notice it for a while.

The overall accommodation experience is good, the environment is clean and comfortable, and the facilities are good. However, it is a pity that the check-in time has to wait until 8 pm, and the check-out is at 11 am the next morning. The actual time that can be used is quite short. Although the process is not bad, but will feel that time passes quickly, a little pity.

I had an impromptu business trip from Kaohsiung to Taichung. It was very close to the place where I was traveling. Because I arrived very late, I called the waiter after midnight to ask how to check in. They all responded kindly and in detail.

The room is small but nicely furnished. Everything is new and my room has a good view of the traffic rotary. It is conveniently located next to the main strain station. Finding the hotel building is a different story. The hotel name and the name on Google Maps don't match and the locals don't seem to know it. To walk to the hotel (3-5 minutes), I have to walk past scores of homeless elderly people sleeping around the station. I wish the city government to do more to help the poor. During my stay, I may have experienced an earthquake from the aftershocks of the April earthquake. I went back to sleep...

There was a promotion during our period of stay, however, the front desk did not give us the gift during our check in. Only when we saw the promotion flyer in our room and went down to ask the front desk then they gave us the free gift. Other than the above, the hotel is great! The toilet on the second floor is very clean. My kids love the playground and the slide. Can see that the curtain and window were well maintained and cleaned. The switches are clean too! Small details are very well taken care of. It is also very near Taichung station. Will choose this hotel again!

Room was clean and good for solo traveller. The common areas were also pretty nice to relax. Also just walking distance to Taichung railway station (and bus stops which will take you all over Taichung) so it is good. Have to tap in using the card given to you to access your own floor, so feel safe as well. I love the rooftop area where I can just drink and wind down after a hard day travelling. Only complaint is the air con in the room doesn't seem to be working so well, so it might feel quite warm (I travelled in the summer). Also the blinds are not good enough to block out all the light coming from outside, so be mindful of that. Otherwise, a pretty good stay for a short trip in Taichung, and even with quite a few homeless people outside around the area, still felt pretty safe even at night

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, very close to the tai zhung train station and can be found easily. I especially enjoyed the breakfast and the relaxing atmosphere. I’d highly recommend it!
