Taichung Fengyuan District Hotels

We booked a two-bed room for two people online, but were given a three-person room when we arrived. It was on the newly renovated 15th floor. We took the elevator to the 14th floor and walked up one flight of stairs to the top floor. It was an old hotel style, and the bathroom did not have anti-slip tiles, which was really dangerous. I hope the hotel can improve it.

Second time staying here. Overall it is good. It is close to the city and has a high CP value. The bathroom has a large bathtub with water jets for bathing; the shower room does not have water jets, but there is steam. If friends from nearby come to visit for a drink and chat and want to charge a cleaning fee, it is recommended that you inform them directly instead of calling them to urge them. It would be embarrassing to hastily ask them to leave.

The room is small but nicely furnished. Everything is new and my room has a good view of the traffic rotary. It is conveniently located next to the main strain station. Finding the hotel building is a different story. The hotel name and the name on Google Maps don't match and the locals don't seem to know it. To walk to the hotel (3-5 minutes), I have to walk past scores of homeless elderly people sleeping around the station. I wish the city government to do more to help the poor. During my stay, I may have experienced an earthquake from the aftershocks of the April earthquake. I went back to sleep...

There was a promotion during our period of stay, however, the front desk did not give us the gift during our check in. Only when we saw the promotion flyer in our room and went down to ask the front desk then they gave us the free gift. Other than the above, the hotel is great! The toilet on the second floor is very clean. My kids love the playground and the slide. Can see that the curtain and window were well maintained and cleaned. The switches are clean too! Small details are very well taken care of. It is also very near Taichung station. Will choose this hotel again!

Room was clean and good for solo traveller. The common areas were also pretty nice to relax. Also just walking distance to Taichung railway station (and bus stops which will take you all over Taichung) so it is good. Have to tap in using the card given to you to access your own floor, so feel safe as well. I love the rooftop area where I can just drink and wind down after a hard day travelling. Only complaint is the air con in the room doesn't seem to be working so well, so it might feel quite warm (I travelled in the summer). Also the blinds are not good enough to block out all the light coming from outside, so be mindful of that. Otherwise, a pretty good stay for a short trip in Taichung, and even with quite a few homeless people outside around the area, still felt pretty safe even at night

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, very close to the tai zhung train station and can be found easily. I especially enjoyed the breakfast and the relaxing atmosphere. I’d highly recommend it!

Very convenient location, right next to the train station. Room is clean. Simple and good for short stays. The only small complain is sound insulation is bad, can hear the noises in the hallway or next door.

Its took only 5 minutes from taichung train station to the hotel , the locations of hotel is good , need only 10 minutes to hawker centre, the room is nice and clean , its small but they got lift to use there, the amenities is great

I stayed at this hotel 3 times, the first time I thought it was clean, the cleaning service cleaned the bed and rearranged it, the sheets were all tidied up. The floor was clean, for the 2nd and 3rd stays I was very disappointed, the cleaning service was lazy and careless in tidying up, the sheets and blankets were not clean and were not rearranged, they were left scattered, and the 3rd stay, the cleaning button had been pressed but the cleaning service gave the excuse that there was no green button that we pressed, deliberately not cleaning even though we went out in the morning to go for a walk and we returned to the hotel at 1 pm to rest, and it still hadn't been cleaned even though we had really pressed the green button so it would be cleaned because it hadn't been cleaned, please reprimand the cleaning staff again, check the rooms one by one. because the cleaning service worked carelessly. We were very disappointed!

I went to Taichung for a temporary visit and chose an accommodation close to Taichung Railway Station. The pictures looked good, but when I checked in, I found that the bed was very damp, there was garbage and dust under the mattress, and there were even small cockroaches crawling in the room. Although the counter staff was willing to let me change the bed, it was not very comfortable to sleep in. If you only need convenience and low price, and don't have too many requirements for sleeping quality and environment, then you can choose this
