Taichung Houli District Hotels

The hotel service is good, all needs are met, and the overall experience is great. You can order more soup for breakfast, and it would be even better with hot sauce or chili! There is still a chance to play. .

Great for family trip. The service of room was satisfying and quite fast. As soon as we enter our room in third floor, we noticed the size of slippers provided was too large. To our surprise, they took care of the problem almost immediately. I will give the service five star. As for the swimming pool, the quality of water is also good enough for children in 6-12 age group. BTW, thanks for the swimming pool service people. They gave us medication for mosquito biting in emergency. Surely recommended for family trip destination.

Beautiful environment, good service attitude, the location is a bit remote, it is not convenient to go in and out of the city, if you go to Libao, it is very convenient here, highly recommended, clean and quiet

This is the second stay, because I stayed once 7 years ago, I feel very good and happy. This time I came to Taichung and became a hand-chosen homestay. The room is not a lot. The occupants are more disciplined, so they are all relatively quiet. It is definitely a good rest place. Sitting outside at night because there is a breeze blowing, it is definitely a good place to relax,  The trees are all tall. I originally wanted to go to Taichung next time. I said that I would definitely stay again, but because of my personal problem, I missed my left neck pillow at the homestay. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭, I can clearly say it, I leave the location, but I can all talk to you. I have seen it, and I will answer it. There is only one reason. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭, Leave on behalf of everyone, because of their fault, lost the most favorite neck pillow, so next time I go to Taichung, I will not choose this place again, not a homestay, it is not good, only ..................☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️

The owner of the homestay was very enthusiastic and would have been late and explained how to check in in detail. Breakfast is a breakfast shop, generally popular. Very close to Libo, very convenient. No parking space available, parking next to no red line.

Children love the facilities, but there is no exclusive breakfast at this price The area is inconvenient, but the overall cleanliness is very good Service attitude is acceptable, I hope that breakfast can be included on weekdays

The room is small but nicely furnished. Everything is new and my room has a good view of the traffic rotary. It is conveniently located next to the main strain station. Finding the hotel building is a different story. The hotel name and the name on Google Maps don't match and the locals don't seem to know it. To walk to the hotel (3-5 minutes), I have to walk past scores of homeless elderly people sleeping around the station. I wish the city government to do more to help the poor. During my stay, I may have experienced an earthquake from the aftershocks of the April earthquake. I went back to sleep...

There was a promotion during our period of stay, however, the front desk did not give us the gift during our check in. Only when we saw the promotion flyer in our room and went down to ask the front desk then they gave us the free gift. Other than the above, the hotel is great! The toilet on the second floor is very clean. My kids love the playground and the slide. Can see that the curtain and window were well maintained and cleaned. The switches are clean too! Small details are very well taken care of. It is also very near Taichung station. Will choose this hotel again!

Room was clean and good for solo traveller. The common areas were also pretty nice to relax. Also just walking distance to Taichung railway station (and bus stops which will take you all over Taichung) so it is good. Have to tap in using the card given to you to access your own floor, so feel safe as well. I love the rooftop area where I can just drink and wind down after a hard day travelling. Only complaint is the air con in the room doesn't seem to be working so well, so it might feel quite warm (I travelled in the summer). Also the blinds are not good enough to block out all the light coming from outside, so be mindful of that. Otherwise, a pretty good stay for a short trip in Taichung, and even with quite a few homeless people outside around the area, still felt pretty safe even at night

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, very close to the tai zhung train station and can be found easily. I especially enjoyed the breakfast and the relaxing atmosphere. I’d highly recommend it!
