Hotels in Taichung Railway Station/Miyahara Dessert Store, Taichung

Right opposite Taichung Railway Station, the hotel is renovated to a very new state! Bright, clean, and looks very high-end! There is a convenience store next to it. It is very convenient to go to the Second Market for breakfast! It is very convenient to go anywhere!

Decent hotel located in a very good location that is walkable from the Taichung TRA Station. Miyahara, a popular store, is reachable as well, and Zhongxiao Road Night Market is further down. The hotel staff are also friendly and helpful.

Palmer hotel's location is very central, near taroko mall, Taichung park, Taichung train station and miyahahara ice cream shop. Palmer hotel offers buffet breakfast and also has a self laundry - coin operated same floor with the buffet. Room is big, 2 elevators working and quick checkin and check-out process. Thank you for the good service.

Room was clean and good for solo traveller. The common areas were also pretty nice to relax. Also just walking distance to Taichung railway station (and bus stops which will take you all over Taichung) so it is good. Have to tap in using the card given to you to access your own floor, so feel safe as well. I love the rooftop area where I can just drink and wind down after a hard day travelling. Only complaint is the air con in the room doesn't seem to be working so well, so it might feel quite warm (I travelled in the summer). Also the blinds are not good enough to block out all the light coming from outside, so be mindful of that. Otherwise, a pretty good stay for a short trip in Taichung, and even with quite a few homeless people outside around the area, still felt pretty safe even at night

The best hotel at taichung. Room rate including breakfasts. Nice breakfast. With free washing machine and dryer. Best hotel. Next visit will surely stay again.

Great hotel for families. The staff were great and breakfast was very comprehensive. Large rooms and there was a large play area on one of the floors which was beside the gym and laundromat. The service staff were so nice to help us with the laundry machines.

Good service people are nice and it's really near at the train station and bus station so it's so convenient to stay there and recommended I just hope that it's a little cheaper during weekend like for me as solo traveler I pay more than 2000 Taiwan dollar for overnight stay while weekdays they have a price of less than 1000 Taiwan dollar

Location is great as very near the main train station. Room is big and staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of good food are within walking distance

Good Location to Bus station and to Night Market. Its also next to a major bus transport if you wish to travel to outskirt of the city in taichung. The hotel is also located in an outlet mall. The Breakfast spread is good daily.

Very nice room, i booked the capsule type but they upgraded to a single room instead, it was very nice. Location is very good, near taichung main station, Bus stop, and miyahara.
