Hotels in Fengyuan Station, Taichung

We booked a two-bed room for two people online, but were given a three-person room when we arrived. It was on the newly renovated 15th floor. We took the elevator to the 14th floor and walked up one flight of stairs to the top floor. It was an old hotel style, and the bathroom did not have anti-slip tiles, which was really dangerous. I hope the hotel can improve it.

1-The sound insulation is not very good and you can hear the sound of the door closing. 2-The bed is too soft and you even know when you turn over. 3-The sofa and floor are a bit dirty 4-The room smells like cigarette smoke and does not feel comfortable.

This is an old hotel, some places are moldy, the air-conditioning in the room will not be cold at all, think twice about booking in summer, but the location is good, there is Fengyuan Miaokou Night Market within a few minutes’ walk, breakfast is ok, overall it’s ok, but just It's too hot to sleep...

Overall decent experience for the price and great location beside the train station. However they said you couldn’t extend the time and we checked out 20 mins later and still charged the extra $200. We would’ve been fine to pay the extra $200 if we’re allowed to stay til noon but that was not communicated to us so it left a sour note to the stay.

There was a promotion during our period of stay, however, the front desk did not give us the gift during our check in. Only when we saw the promotion flyer in our room and went down to ask the front desk then they gave us the free gift. Other than the above, the hotel is great! The toilet on the second floor is very clean. My kids love the playground and the slide. Can see that the curtain and window were well maintained and cleaned. The switches are clean too! Small details are very well taken care of. It is also very near Taichung station. Will choose this hotel again!

The hostel is conveniently located near the Taichung railway station, providing easy access to convenience stores, several nice restaurants, and famous tourist spots such as Miyahara. The interior decoration of the hostel is modern with a pleasant Nordic vibe. The public area offers an excellent view of the Taichung station, providing a relaxed atmosphere - I thoroughly enjoyed it! The room, including the shared bathroom, is very clean and well-maintained. Additionally, the travel logs inside the room document the experiences of previous guests, which was a delightful and enriching read. The only issue I encountered was that the air conditioning inside the room wasn't cool enough, which posed a challenge during hot September nights.

Hotel room quite big,clean and worth the price. Location good near the Taichung train station walk within 3 minutes. Good place to use the public transport, walk within 1 minute have the convenient shop 7/11 and family mart. Even come with HSR and transfer via TRA go to this hotel also very easier. The bad thing is this hotel do not have rest place to microwave takeaway food, u need to finished the food in your room and do not have water purifier. If wanna get some hot water refill may need to get free from Family mart. Anyway, I'm still enjoying in this hotel.

Very convenient location, right next to the train station. Room is clean. Simple and good for short stays. The only small complain is sound insulation is bad, can hear the noises in the hallway or next door.

Room was pretty spacious. My first rooom had smell in it and asked for a look, they asked us whether we want to move to another room or not. Good job!
