Hotels in Ximenting Commercial Area, Taipei

Hotel location is excellent, right next to Ximen MRT exit 4 or 5 (both exits can access the hotel). It is good for a short stay for few days at Taipei if you are looking for good location hotel at Ximending area. The downside of the hotel is tiny room size when you have 2 suitcases opened inside room, you will barely have space to walk around. Wifi reception is weak inside hotel room and the hotel could not help with storing luggages overnight, which is not convenient for those who plan to travel to another city for a short trip then return to the same hotel for continuing the journey.

I stayed in this hotel quite often while visiting Taipei for a weekend. Location is great and is good value for money. The hotel is clean and service is nice. Don’t spect anything fancy though. They have a bar just down with craft local beer is quite nice.

The location of this hotel is right in between Ximen station and Taipei station. It’s about 8 mins walk each way. There is another nearer station NTU hospital of about 6 mins walk. The room is big with one king bed and one single bed which can accommodate 3 pax. The toilet is huge! It comes with 2 sinks, one toilet, one bathtub and one shower area with lots of space. One of the biggest toilets I have seen and comparable size to suite hotel toilets. The amenities was basic with toiletries (hand wash, shower and shampoo). They also provide coffee, tea, snacks, fridge and a kettle. You will need to refill the water at the reception level or another floor. They provide hot, warm and cold water. You can also go to the reception floor to enjoy the coffee, tea and snacks there with tables and chairs. Only shortfall is they only provide cleaning once in the 5 days stays and there is no room slippers. Overall, it’s an enjoyable stay and no complaints for this price. The room is overall clean and spacious.

The room looks great but the walls are too thin, making it very noisy at night. I could hear people talking along the corridor outside. The construction site next to it also starts drilling early in the morning, as early as 8am. Though the location is great, those who want a peaceful room might want to reconsider this inn.

Good location with clean and comfortable beds. Nothing fancy, but it’s a nice enough place to stay. The check in desk isn’t always staffed, but they allow for digital check in when you arrive. Would stay again.

I understood that the hotel location is in Xinmen night market center but check in time at 3 p.m. and check out time at 11 a.m. it doesn't make sense for guest because the previous hotel could check out till midday. As hotel location not easy to find and very important thing since I open the room door that it was very smelly from the smoke of cigarette which an absolutely I don't like it. The 2nd thing when I took a rest in room at approximately 4 - 6 p.m. it was very noisy from a construction in the same building even the hotel uncontrol but should be informe guest since check in.

Budget hotel with limited amenities. Very convenient location, close to shops and food. 10 mins walk to train station. Older building with key access (not key card). Bathroom and carpet are old looking. Towel had mascara marking. Stray hair around edges of bathtub and floor. Not expecting alot at least the sheets look clean and comfortable. The AC is very strong, nighttime the heat is turned on and warm but room doesn't smell as fresh when heated. One elevator for the whole building. Did not book breakfast for this trip as I only stayed one day (last minute booking).

The hotel is located in a very popular area. It’s a pretty neighborhood vibrant and young. I totally recommend for the location. Don’t tell itself. It’s quite nice. It seems to be a newly renovated hotel even though some of the older furniture is still being used. Some of it is stained or damaged, but overall everything was functional. The laundry area with free detergent really came in handy, it’s actually one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. There’s no breakfast offered, but there’s a nice array of free snacks that guest can choose and pick up as much as they like. The main minus point for me was the toilet in the lounge and laundry area, having the male urinal right by the toilet stall was a bit icky because I had to walk over spilled or dried up pee to be able to use the toilet.
