Hotel location, room size and cleanliness is good. The only thing I wish to highlight is the air conditioning (which I was told it only blow hot air during winter, I stayed during late Oct), room became very hot to sleep at night. I didn't want to open the window as my room is facing a main road and the traffic noise can be disturbing at night. Suggest to reinstate proper air conditioning instead of trying to go green in the way wrong.

Because the flight was early, we arrived at the hotel very early. The front desk was very enthusiastic and gave us a room. Thank you so much. I can finally lie down and have a good rest. The room is very large and the whole house is smart. The children like to play with Xiaodu very much. The hotel is rather new and the design is good. The room is modern and clean, the bed is very comfortable, the TV is huge. All electronics, lights, TV, curtains, A/C are voice controlled which is a problem if you don't speak Chinese. The reception staff was nice and helpful but clearly they don't have a lot of experience dealing with tourists (nor foreigners). The gym is a joke... the flimsy bench I would even call dangerous. Very good is that their are washing machines and dryers available. A recommendation: put a chair in the room. A guest needs a chair to sit for writing, eating, etc.

Facilities: Overall, the rooms are just OK, with different sizes.
Hygiene: It is also quite suitable.
Environment: Except for the rooms along the street, all other rooms in the hotel have inner windows. The experience is not good. The first room was the Ferris wheel room, but there was no air conditioning in March, so it was too hot. And there was a snack street downstairs, which was very noisy. Finally, I changed to an executive room. But the inner window of the executive room is very small, not ventilated and hot.
Service: Whether the staff is patient enough to help with space and service, but they are very indifferent. It may be due to personal character. In fact, their service is also very good. It's just that their faces are colder.

I rarely stay in the south when I come to Tianjin. This time I came to see the Mayday concert. I chose this place because it is close to the venue and MixC. I was surprised by WMLS when I entered the lobby, and they also said goodbye to me attentively when I left. I have a good impression of it. The lake view king bed room has a good view outside the window. The facilities are not new. There is a zero pressure pillow, which is very suitable for me. The service is generally good. CChan Ming TongI booked 3 rooms in Jun, 2023. The hotel is only 4 months old. The only thing I want to complain about is that I can't find anything to complain about!
The subway station is just in front of the hotel. Shops, restaurants, and malls are surrounding this beautiful hotel.
The GM told me it was a 4 star hotel but to me it is nothing less than a 5 star accommodation.
Highly recommended! Good price, great value!

TTangguobuaichitangIt's worth taking the time to write a short essay and talk about it. First of all, it was a very satisfying experience.
1. Good location. It’s newly opened, and the scent is handled very well. You can’t smell it. They also put in some diffuser stones, which is thoughtful.
2. The overall decoration is simple and reasonable. I stayed in a deluxe view room, which was very good. The overall feel of the decoration matches the franchise style of international brands.
3. Spare parts are available. I like the hand-poured coffee experience the most. The packaging and style of the mineral water are also very nice. Although it looks like an alcohol bottle, it is still better than those mineral waters in many better brand hotels.
4. Reasonable design. The socket on the operating table is reasonably designed. The toilet and bathroom have separate doors, providing soundproofing and privacy. Nice contrast to those transparent ones haha.
5. I will say a few words to avoid delaying the rating:
5-1 The horizontal rack for placing the mouthwash cup is really low-class, and the iron sheet lowers the grade.
5-2 The front desk can strengthen its training. I'm not familiar with the business but I'm not annoying. It's just that some girls need to improve their speaking skills. Although what they say is normal, it's really unpleasant to listen to.
Summarize. Good location, good design, comfortable
Supplement: The housekeeping lady was very polite and greeted us with a smile. very good.

AAnonymous UserTianjin Very nice hotel near the airport. Inconvenient if you were to travel to city areas as the metro is a distance from hotel. Pick up and drop off service was available from airport only. As we only stay for 1 night before leaving the country the hotel was at our convenience. We called the hotel on arrival at the airport and the driver arrived to pick us within 5 minutes. Car was able to fit 2 medium luggage and 1 large luggage, if there are more people they also have a mini bus. We arrived at the airport around 12pm, and we were able to check in immediately. Our room was located at level 10, family room was big and spacious. A modernised room, curtains were controlled by switches, screensharing on TV was also available. Something I didn’t like was that the light switches were connected, we could not choose to switch off a certain stretch of lights. There was only a choice of dim lights and bright lights. Laundry and Gym room was on level 11. There were 2 washing machines and 2 dryers available. Laundry detergent was provided. Security of this hotel could be better as the lifts didn’t require card access to access room floors, which meant that anybody could just walk in to the hotel and go up to the guest room levels. Breakfast was a mixture of western and Chinese style food. Although we were the first to start eating, the food were cold even those on the heaters. Ambience in the dining area and other areas were good. I enjoyed my stay in this hotel despite some negative points.

CChenZhaoyangService is excellent. Arrived early at 12pm, and receptionist checked and told room undergoing inspection and ready soon. I have 2 separate reservations on the same room type, due to flight changes, and they are able to put me in the same room, and not require a room change in between. Room is clean and tidy upon check-in. They also provide kid's slippers, but you need to ask them for it. Only note is that there is no room safe.
Breakfast is good and changed daily.
Location is close to Tianjin train station and a MTR station, with 5 minutes walk. You have to walk slightly further to shopping malls further, but is no issue. Also walkable to Italy square ~ 10 mins walk. They also have a 7-11 store downstairs where you can pick up essential items. Also have a DIY washing/drying machine for your clothing, if you need it.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in an excellent location. The subway entrance is just downstairs from the hotel, and the transportation is very convenient. The hotel is very clean. After entering the door, wipe it with wet wipes, and there is no dust mark. This is really good. The hotel elevator requires a card to enter, and the security is also guaranteed. There is a coffee shop and a 711 convenience store in the lobby downstairs, and it is very convenient to buy things. Next time I come to Tianjin, I will choose to stay here

This, as another branded hotel, disappointed us greatly, due to basic facilities not being available (we checked out).
Upon arrival at the Somerset Olympic Tower, we were warmly received, by the front of house.
Special thanks to ”Avery”, for her hospitality and for making us feel right at home, much appreciated.

Our suite was exceptionally well equipped.
A well layed out kitchen, with major (Fridge, Washing Machine) and minor appliances (Microwave) as well as cutlery and crockery.
(Everything you need, for a long or short stay).
The dining room had a table and chair set, suitable for family or friends.
We enjoyed the lounge area as well, the sofa was comfortable and the area is well organised.
There is an office area as well, should you require the use of a desk.
The bedroom has a on suite bathroom, equiped with a bathtub / shower combination.
We found the bed to be comfortable, with quality bedding on it.
The suite has numerous windows, with clear city views.
Breakfast (buffet) was excellent, with a great selection (Western and Chinese Style).
The facilities are on international standard.
Guests can enjoy a fully equiped professional gymnasium, and a heated swimming pool during their stay.
Overall we were extremly satisfied with the service received, the facilities and the meals.
We look forward to visiting the ”Somerset Olympic Tower” often, and in the near future.

MMichael & Nici Exploring China and BeyondWe checked into the Tuanbo Lake Hotspring Resort & Spa for one night, as we wanted to see if it's suitable for future visits.
We enjoyed our stay so much, and decided to extended our stay with another night.
The Resort is devided into two sections, with the Villa Style Hotspring Rooms on one end, and the Private Hotspring in Room ”House Soup”, on the other end.
We stayed at the ”House Soup” section, during this visit, as we wanted to enjoy our own private Hotspring in room.
Service received from all staff members were good, and they were all very courteous and efficient.
They were courtesy enough, to show us the Villa's as well.
The room was well prepared upon our arrive, and our room was decorated (Romantic Theme), as requested.
The Resort is a short drive out of the City, and it's advisable to allow ample time during your stay.
I will not recommend staying here, for one night only, but rather for a few nights if possible.
We will most definitely return, and spend more time here during longer holidays or time of work.
I can recommend this establishment to all future guests, foreign or domestic.
