## Review of Homestay in Tianjin / 天津民宿评价 I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful homestay in the 杨柳青 area of Tianjin, and I can't recommend it highly enough. As a stressed entrepreneur and doctor traveling from Shanghai, this trip was a much-needed break for me, and the homestay exceeded all my expectations. 我最近有幸住在天津杨柳青地区的一家很棒的民宿，我强烈推荐这里。作为一名从上海来的压力很大的企业家和医生，这次旅行对我来说是一段急需的休息时间，而这家民宿远远超出了我的预期。 The 杨柳青 area is incredibly peaceful, offering a serene environment that is perfect for reflection and deep thinking. Out of all the places I've stayed, this homestay in Tianjin stands out as one of the best. This was my first trip to Tianjin, and I specifically booked a room with a view of the Tianjin Eye. Upon entering, I was a bit disappointed. There were two floor-to-ceiling windows, one for each of us, but where was the Tianjin Eye? It was actually off to the side, diagonally in front, so I had to zoom in to photograph it. The room itself was small but relatively new, and the public areas were well-decorated. The breakfast selection was quite limited and very ordinary, as you can see in the picture. However, the service was excellent and very prompt. They were incredibly quick whenever I needed a parking voucher. Deliveries could also be brought to the room door by a robot, which was also very fast.

If you have an early flight this is a good hotel to stay at as it’s only 15 minutes from the airport. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. My only problem was they had smoking rooms/floors and even though we had a non-smoking room there were some guests who still smoked in the stairwells. This is not the hotel’s fault but should be mentioned in case one cannot stand the smell of smoke. There is not much for food around the area but for a 5-10 minute taxi ride you can get to an area with more options including some western options if you desire that type.

This hotel offers top-notch service, stemming from its past as the Sheraton Tianjin Hotel, so the staff's training has a solid Sheraton foundation. They are incredibly responsive to every request. I always stay here whenever I'm in Tianjin because the hotel consistently lives up to my high expectations, never letting me down. The environment is arguably the quietest in Tianjin. The bar stays open quite late, so after checking in, you can enjoy a cold beer and savor the tranquility amidst the bustling city. The front desk staff, from the employees to the lobby manager, are all very warm and provide excellent service. They specially treated my room to be smoke-free, and the duvet thickness was perfectly tailored to my needs (I tend to get hot easily), which was very thoughtful and attentive. The housekeeping department even turned on the air conditioning before my arrival, ensuring a perfectly comfortable temperature. I highly recommend everyone to stay at Yan Yuan Hotel and have a wonderful time.

Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the metro station. The room was larger than expected, with great natural light, and the cleanliness was impeccable, paying attention to every detail. A special shout-out to the front desk staff (the 'xiaoge/xiaojie' - a polite way to refer to young male/female staff), who were incredibly gentle and patient, and even helped upgrade my room. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and tasted good. All in all, a perfect experience, and I've already recommended it to my friends!

She proactively offered helpful reminders and patiently answered all my questions with great attention to detail. Her excellent service really added a positive touch to my trip. I'm very satisfied!

The breakfast was plentiful and the dining environment was pleasant. The room size was ample, and the cleanliness and service all met five-star standards. Especially noteworthy was the prompt and efficient service response. I had a slight issue with the pillows, and as soon as I mentioned it in the service mini-program, the response was immediate. Within minutes, a selection of pillows was delivered for me to choose from.

Rooms: We traveled with our child and stayed in the Executive Suite. The room was quite spacious, over 90 square meters, with two separate bathrooms and shower rooms, which was very convenient for our family of three to shower separately after swimming. The king-size bed was also very comfortable and soft. The large round table in front of the floor-to-ceiling window was perfect for eating takeout or for our child to do homework, and the view was excellent. Food: Breakfast offered a rich variety of Chinese and Western dishes. The specialty pancakes were delicious, and the wontons, noodles, and various egg dishes were also good. Both the cold and hot dishes were tasty, and we always ate too much at breakfast. The food at the Executive Lounge was even better, with free-flowing cocktails. Enjoying a drink in the evening while looking at the night view was a wonderful experience. Pool: The water was very clean, and there were two lanes. Besides hotel guests, there were also children from outside taking swimming lessons, so it was quite crowded during the summer. I recommend swimming in the morning or during mealtimes when there are fewer people. In addition to the pool, there was also a very comfortable massage pool, which our child thoroughly enjoyed. Service: The service was incredibly thoughtful and meticulous. From the detailed reminders at the front desk during check-in, to the housekeeping staff who proactively replenished our needs (they even provided children's toiletries before we asked), and the prompt responses from the staff at the Executive Lounge and Chinese restaurant. When we called the front desk for additional items (mineral water, children's bathrobes), they were delivered within 10 minutes. The doorman was also very friendly, and the room hygiene was impeccable (even for a clean freak like me, I was very satisfied). Overall, the service felt well-organized and well-managed, and all the staff members were excellent. Because we travel with our child, we often choose hotels of similar caliber. We've encountered situations with slow service or staff lacking initiative before. We previously stayed at the Four Seasons in Guangzhou and felt the service was excellent there too. It seems the Four Seasons' overall training is indeed very good. This was a very satisfying trip, and both our child and we were delighted!

The location is great and the service is good. However, the hotel facilities are quite old. The drain next to the bathtub was really bad, causing a huge flood. The rooftop bar also felt a bit dated and the drinks weren't good. The room itself was quite spacious, but the air conditioning didn't work. The hotel price wasn't expensive, so the value for money is decent. At first glance, the room seemed okay, but the details couldn't stand up to scrutiny. I guess it's understandable though, many hotels in Tianjin are quite old.

I stayed here for one night while driving during the Chinese New Year. The hotel facilities are pretty good, clean and smell-free, and the bed in the standard room is also very big, with a bed of 1.35 meters. The transportation is convenient, just off the highway.
