Definitely a 100% great hotel to stay.  The staff at reception can speak English and helpful during the check in process. It was seamless and smooth.  Well explained the facilities and amenities provided.  I booked their room Good for One Plus which is spacious knowing Hotels in Japan are small.  They have coin laundry machine, a gym with threadmill and a shared kitchen with all you need. If you have take away foods from convenient store , late night snacks.  Great location just within 1minute by walking.  7/11 both sides. One Ramen Store outside the hotel. Not too many restaurants nearby. But if you are looking for a more quiet type of place this is perfect for you.  Breakfast not too many options but they are all delicious. I love the breakfast makes me full.  I always read reviews before I choose the hotel and Lyf Ginza Tokyo didn’t disappoint me at all! They are a great hotel especially the location in the middle of Shibuya and Asakusa.  Will definitely comeback again here in my next visit.

We stayed at Lyf Ginza Tokyo 3 different times during our recent Tokyo trip (7-9 Jan, 11-13 Jan and 20-21 Jan). Convenient location, customer service is top notch, rooms are spacious and clean. Highly recommended to stay here and we'll definitely be back!

Great little hotel. Conveniently close to metro, restaurants and shops. Rooms are small but clean and bed is comfortable. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I had a great stay at Lyf Hotel.

10min Walking distances to Tokyo station, good location and nice place

Room size and cleanliness are decent and acceptable. Location of hotel is away from the crowded streets. Shower room is pretty small. Hotel staff is friendly and was able to solve our issue promptly. Overall, a pleasant stay but would only recommend it if you want the experience.

The location is near to Tokyo Station and Bus Terminal Yaesu. So food options galore. But taking the train to the hotel, there no escalators or lifts in the station. So have to carry the luggage bag by hand up flights of stairs. Also, change of bed linens only done every 2 days, will need to inform front desk if need extra changing of bed linens. Overall, enjoyed my stay.

Very comfortable stay. Love the location - near a train station and walkable to Ginza area and Tokyo train station. Quiet, not so bustling like shibuya or Shinjuku which we enjoyed! Room was clean and comfortable. Even had washer & dryer where soap is auto dispensed! Service was great, they helped us with storing our luggage as we were returning to the hotel later part of our trip, provided extra pillows upon request etc etc, just a really friendly and helpful bunch! When we returned for our second half of our trip, they gave us a bigger and nice corner room!

Nice staffs with friendliness and good communication. Tidy room and very clean floor. Small fitness area and inadequate machine. Comfort sharing area with complimentary laundry and kitchen. Convenient for solo travel with a luggage (provided elevator). Near Kyobashi metro station just 1 minute from entrance #4.

Easy walk from Tokyo station and only 10-15min walk from the main shopping street in Ginza, cute wallpaper and little amenities bags for the kids :)

The hotel is falsely advertised. It was the worst stay I've had anywhere in the world. The main reason is, the hotel advertises it has Air Conditioning. The problem is, the Air Con system is centrally set. Meaning if the building is currently set to heating mode, you CANNOT TURN ON YOUR AIR CON. Same as the opposite case, if the building is set to cooling, you CANNOT TURN ON YOUR HEATER. On my visit, I was sweating and so hot I couldn't sleep, only to talk to reception and find out there is no way to switch the aircon on. The staff offered a completely unreasonable solution which was to open the safety-windows. These windows only have 1 key which is kept at all times at reception. The moment I borrow the key to open the window, the rain poured in which wet the bed which is right against the window (the room size makes it impossible to move the bed). The hotel suggested that I close the window if it rains but this is a ridiculous proposal. Do you expect guests to get up at 3am in the morning when the rain starts to walk to reception, get a key and close the window, then 5am when rain stop, wake up again and go get the key and open it again? I got pretty much no sleep. That night I immediately inquired about refund or moving, except there is no manager on duty. It took a whole another day before the manager got involved, by then they argued I had already stayed 2 nights. I ended up arguing with the hotel which at first were adamant about no refund policy, but in the end due to their false advertising they agreed to refund me partially. I still ended up having to pay for an extra night for no reason (as the hotel spent the day arguing with me). I promptly packed my stuff, copped the loss and paid for the empty room for the night and moved elsewhere. What an joke of a hotel, completely unreasonable on their refund policy and an archaic air-con system (I have never seen any other hotel like this in the world). Other issues with this hotel were: dirty, incredibly small rooms (as I was checking in, another random guest in the elevator warned me before I reached my room, it really is that small), room space is poorly utilised, shower is lower than any other Japanese hotel - roughly 2 meter height. If you are a taller man, this shower is claustrophobic on all sides.
