Very average hotel. **Legal, ***Legal. A lot of drunkards. Unless you really like traveling in the United States. The environment is a mess. It’s really hard to believe that this is a so-called developed country. Honestly, I felt insecurity when I was in this town. Once I've reached Boston, then all************ and ***** are LEGALIZED! In consequence, my families were suffering from breathing difficulty and chest congestion. Because of the intensive fumes of ****!!!!! It was terrible.

I like that the hotel is next to the river. It is very comfortable, but there is no swimming pool. It is estimated that it is outside and it is too cold to open. Others are quiet and comfortable. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to RPI, which is very close. Drive to the supermarket and cross a bridge. There are many restaurants nearby, and it takes only 5 minutes or 10 minutes to walk. It's just slow internet.

The refrigerator could be a little larger. Otherwise, the room was very nice and clean. All the staff were helpful and friendly.

Stayed for one night. Overall everything was fine but there was no safe in the room. This amenity is pretty standard and surprised a Marriott didn't provide one. Also surprised that no bottled water in the room. Finally, the tv channel selection very limited for this day and age.

2nd time staying here and now convinced the rooms are not being cleaned well. The shower was filthy in room 305. It literally had black specs all over and was slimy.
The staff is friendly. But the cleaning needs to be addressed. My last stay there were shoes under my bed and hair on my pillow cases. Come on. Do better

As always, my stay was fantastic. This hotel is very comfortable with great amenities. Easy parking and access to many restaurants of downtown Troy.

Another good experience with Courtyard. Second time starting here and no issues. Only nit picky item was the clock was off by 15 minutes and unable to change. No big deal with a cell phone these days. Clean, modern and nice large parking. It won't be the last time we start here on our trips to upstate NY.

Housekeeping did not clean the room. I returned late evening to find the room untouched. I thought it too late to ask housekeeping to come clean it.
