Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa Reviews

I had the worst experience one could imagine. I spent over 7 years stationed in Germany so I try to be the most understanding American when visiting tourist locations. I make an honest attempt to speak the local language, use the local currency, and leave my money in the local economy. I do not walk around haggle locals or assuming everyone should know English. My experience with Dreams tulum was terrible from beginning to end. 1. My room reservation was incorrect at check in. I spent over 3 hours trying to get checked in. 2. The resort did not have any welcome gifts or welcome banners to decorate my room, as advertised in their Dream big package I purchased. 3. I booked the preferred deluxe king swim out suite and on the second night of my stay a man in the suite above urinated in my pool. See video attached 4. The hotel did NOTHING to accommodate, not even move my room. No credit. NOTHING. 5. When calling for a car to take my physically disabled girlfriend to the main restaurants I was directed to wait outside for the car to pull up, they refused to come and knock, or at the least honk. 6. I booked a private dinner on the beach for my girlfriend and I, which included a lamb and shrimp dinner. On arrival I was told we would be seated inside one of the regular restaurants and be served beef instead. I was repeatedly passed over for white guests when being served at the bar. I waited patiently, addressed them in Spanish, and tipped appropriately. Throughout the duration of my stay I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff. I spent thousands of dollars to celebrate my significant other and it was a miserable trip. I could go on for days. DO NOT STAY AT DREAMS TULUM!
