The Good Bar by the quiet pool was our favourite place thanks to Angelica and Kesha. The food, from the buffets to the alà cartès was excellent as well. We especially enjoyed La Tonino, Carnal , Lima and Butchers . Even though my partner is a vegetarian the steakhouse went out of their way to make sure she could have a wonderfull meal as well. Aida who managed the alà cartès was attentive and caring as we're all of her staff. The Butcher was also one of the Breakfast buffets which was run by Ainer Chan. Charming, proficient and attentive as we're all of his staff. Many concierge are stationed throughout the habitation buildings. Our staff of Maria, Alfredo and Marco were ever present to answer questions make bookings or help in any way. The grounds are very well kept and full of wildlife. Long walks or short strolls could both offer interest and enjoyment. Two activity pools, one quiet pool, a nice lazy river float and of course the beach provided all the water and tanning space one could ask for. Shuttleservices around the properties were plentiful and easy. The spa was amazing,from Leobardo at the reception to Carla leading us through hydrotherapy to our massages at the beach. I wish I could remember every name of the dozens of staff I was impressed with but it was a holiday not a working review.

The spa is a next level experience. We have been here twice now and Obed, Erica and Maricarmen have always made it very special. The couples massage with moon intentions is a very intimate ceremony and a massage right on the edge of the beach. The spa staff is responsive and very courteous and always want to make sure you enjoy your experience. We also did a sound healing with the Shaman Raymond and it was beautiful and very calming and peaceful. He is very talented. Miguel at Kin Toh is the best waiter! Wants to ensure you are having a great time and takes care of everything. He made great food and drink recommendations! The rooms are beautiful and if you are looking to disconnect highly recommend the sea villa. The bellboys Manuel and Alejandro were so gracious and happily took care of us as we were leaving. And of course the angels Regina and Leyda took care of anything we needed each day with fast reply!! This was our second time visiting here and we just love it. The food is amazing and drinks are great. If you are looking for a cheap vacation this is not the place and if you are used to four seasons type of accommodation it won’t be here. This resort is in tune and entertwined with the nature it was built on. If you don’t appreciate that don’t come here.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful 2 weeks here for our honeymoon. We stayed in villa 2 , room was big , great super king-size bed. The pool and views of the sea are amazing. Food wasn't great which is why I rated 4 stars. Everything else was amazing, the staff couldn't do enough for you, big mention to Francisco, Noemi, Jorge , and Freddy who catered to our every need, we can't thank them enough for their speedy service and attentiveness. Also a shout out to the entertainment staff Gio and Tati. To all the staff thank you so much for making our honeymoon so special. Love from Ireland to you all.

There is a reason Condé Nast travel ranked this beautiful resort in the top 3 of Eastern Mexico! It’s amazing, the property is kept immaculate, the service is unmatched. We had the ceiba club experience tbh I can see why families might find that aspect appealing but in the future we will skip this upgrade

I usually don’t leave reviews, but after this wild experience, I had no choice. I was absolutely disgusted by the treatment I received at this hotel. I booked the hotel for a women’s retreat and interacted with 3 different people over the course of my time at the hotel. The first person checked us in and I informed him that Oke of the participants had COVID and wouldn’t be attending and the other person would be staying with me to nanny for my child. He said okay he would let the manager know and they would remove it from the bill. He took a deposit for the 5 rooms ($50 per day). He told us breakfast was served at the sister hotel, Zenses and we should eat there after yoga in the morning. He also informed us that while the website says bikes are complimentary, they don’t offer bikes and the beach is actually an hour away, not 30 minutes! What the hell? The next day, another woman asked for the remaining balance on the room. I asked if that was customary because I am used to paying that upon departure and she said yes, so I paid the balance. The day before our departure, I interacted with a 3rd woman who was very rude, impatient and said she was charged two rooms that weren’t even in my party for breakfast. I told her breakfast was included. I asked for her name. She refused to give it to me so I sent a screenshot of her to the manager and he failed to respond. She called the manger and both of them very rudely said breakfast was not included and told me they would be charging me for the room my nanny didn’t use and for breakfast, even though it was included. I requested a print out of my payment. They couldn’t provide it for a while and finally provided a document that was inaccurate I challenged them and questioned them over and over and they failed to address the issue or provide any type of resolve. I also advocated for bikes and when we took them out, the pedal fell off and we had to rely on the help of strangers to get us back because no one at the hotel was willing to come get us or support the issue. In addition, our rooms were not cleaned daily, despite the multiple requests. I had to come and get tissue, washcloths and empty the trash. Absolutely terrible service! I have been going back and forth with the “owner” for a while and he has ceased responding because there is 0 accountability. There’s also construction across the street constantly and wild dogs running around, it’s just not worth it. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!! IT’S NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!!

The price is a bit expensive. Good location. It's convenient for eating and shopping around. The room is big. Night life is abundant. It's also very convenient to get to the station. I will choose to stay here again when I go to Cancun in the future.

What a fantastic resort! Firstly we arrived welcomed with some champagne and being upgraded to a renovated superior room by Angel at the reception. Absolutely gorgeous room with excellent amentities. We knew this would be a start to a memorable holiday! The hotel features amazing a la carte restaurants, our favourites were Frutos del Mar, Ku'uk and Don Pablo they are must tries! The buffet is also amazing and has food for every taste. The surroundings of this resort make for some great animal spotting we felt really part of the Riviera Maya environment and animals were treated with respect. The staff at this resort are nothing short of excellent, at breakfast Eric was super attentive, friendly, always making sure we are happy and taken care of. He really made our holiday that extra bit special every morning. Aldair at the bar made the best margaritas and any cocktail always taking time and never rushing to make them. Mr G at Don Pablo took such good care of us, that dinner was a 5 star dining experience, very hard to believe it was included without extra cost, truly an amazing restaurant. The entertainment team were also great, there is always something to do and for all comfort levels. The shows on property as well are not to be missed, Origen was fantastic and the nighttime entertainment is a must especially the female Mariachi band and the fire show! We will 100% be returning back to this hotel, we are already looking at future dates! We made sure to say goodbye to Eric at the breakfast buffet, he is the best! The room was very small and had a rooftop view, but the view was only on the 4th floor, so it wasn't that good, and I could see the window next door, so I had to keep the blinds open every day. The pool is small, but the interior is very neat and pretty. The female staff was a little rude when I checked in. Other staff are friendly

I’m so glad we stayed here. The hotel was great and the staff was so kind throughout our trip. We loved the social hour, the snacks and cocktails were terrific. We stayed for four nights and were able to borrow bikes to ride to the beach, to cenotes, or into town. Huge thank you to everyone there, especially Daniela, Edwars, Luis, and Pedro, for making the trip so special and helping me celebrate my birthday. We already can’t wait to come back.

We had an amazing time at Tago for our honeymoon. We stayed for 9 days. The rooms were beautifully situated right on the beach with private pools. They were also very big, comfortable and had air conditioning. It was not too busy being low season, which was perfect as it felt like everything was just for us. The food was amazing and the staff really went out of their way to make sure the trip was perfect. Betty helped book trips, activities and anything else with needed, she was amazing! Also supported by Luis and the great bartender Aimee who made some unique tasty drinks. We received desserts to the room each night and welcome messages in the sand every morning. The location was perfect and allowed for a 15 minute walk down the beach to other restaurants and cafes. Could not have asked for a better experience.
