I am currently staying at this hotel, and I must say that it left me with mixed feelings. On one hand, the design and ambiance of the hotel were simply breathtaking. The sophistication and beauty of the rooms were in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment, creating a truly immersive experience. The location, too, was unparalleled, and the hotel made the best use of its prime position. However, despite these positives, I couldn't help but feel disappointed by the service provided by the staff. Communication between the hotel staff and guests was noticeably lacking. Important updates and events were only announced on Instagram, leaving many staff members uninformed about the happenings within the hotel. This lack of coordination resulted in confusion and frustration as we found ourselves unaware of available amenities or the current menu offerings. One of the major drawbacks was the disinterest shown by the staff towards the guests. While the hotel was exclusively for adults, the adjacent beach seemed to attract people from all over, which impacted the serene and exclusive atmosphere. To add to the disappointment, the hotel staff paid little attention to the beachgoers, appearing disengaged and uninterested in catering to their needs. It was disheartening to observe the lack of personal touch and genuine care that should be expected from a luxury establishment. The music experience at the hotel was a mixed bag. While the pool area offered a perfect and relaxing musical backdrop, the beach area suffered from inconsistencies. On some days, loud disco music with heavy bass blared as early as 8:00 in the morning, disrupting any hopes of tranquility. On other days, pleasant and soothing summery tunes would play, befitting a 5-star relaxation haven. This inconsistency in the musical atmosphere added to the overall inconsistency of the hotel's identity. It is evident that a considerable amount of thought had been put into the hotel's design, but unfortunately, the same level of consideration does not seem to extend to defining what the hotel truly wants to be. Moreover, it is apparent that minimal effort had been invested in training the staff adequately, resulting in a lackluster guest experience. In conclusion, this hotel possesses the potential to be one of the world's finest, thanks to its exceptional location and captivating design. However, it falls short due to poor management and the disruptive activities of neighboring establishments. While I genuinely wanted to love this hotel, the issues with service, communication, and inconsistency left me feeling unsatisfied. With some improvements in management and a focus on training and coordination, this hotel could truly become a world-class destination.

Me and the wife stayed here our first and last time. We stayed for 2 out of 7 nights then moved back to Icmeler for our last 5 nights. The live band on for 2 nights were so loud we thought they were in our room on the 3rd floor so i can”t imagine how bad the 1st and 2nd floors must have been. Then there was a DJ on for the next 3 nights as well. When the band finished at approx 1230 am the bars loud music kicked in til late. The room was very small with very little storage and a small glass fronted fridge which shone all night. The sea-view was amazing with a fair sized balcony. Breakfast was good and plenty and typical Turkish which we liked. Some of the guests were rude and walked around as if it was a 5 star which it definitely was not. When we checked out they tried to charge us for a meal and drinks we hadn’t had and we had to show proof that we had not. Would we go back? a BIG NO

Me and my partner had the pleasure of staying at Orka Lotus Beach for 7 nights in October 2023. The moment we arrived we were impressed by the grand entrance and met with a warm smile and welcomed by a young man at the front desk. We grabbed a drink from the bar while we waited for our room and soon as our drinks were in hand, we were whisked away to our room on a golf caddy which was an exiting first impression and the gentleman escorting us jumped at a selfie opportunity! He took our bags all the way to our room and showed us the amenities. The room was comfortable and had all you would want or need from a hotel room, it was homely, stylish, comfortable and clean. We had a land view room which wasn’t all that bad as we got to see the chickens every morning, although I would consider upgrading to sea view next time as the views are breathtaking. There are a wide variety of beautiful flowers around the hotel. The hotel is built around trees and the trees are incorporated into the design and architecture. Bilal, the manager greeted us in the restaurant on the first night and remembered us by name throughout our stay. He was friendly and approachable and quick to help with recommendations for shopping, transport and even tattoos! We felt very valued to have had this service from none other than the hotel manager… running a busy hotel with hundreds of guests and staff, to remember us and take time to get to know us was a really special touch. We enjoyed getting to know all staff, particularly around the restaurant, blue bar and in the shops below the hotel. Other guests were friendly and all complimentary of their holidays too. We won a line on the bingo on our first night which put us in high spirits and earned us a meal in the Chinese restaurant which had unreal food and humorous, friendly waiters. We also won a bike hire from the shop below and ended up loving the electric bike so much it became a regular activity! We won a free photo from the photographer, which lead to us having a lovely photoshoot experience and we ended up buying more photos as they were so beautiful. I’d really recommend booking the cabanas - this was our favourite day! Having food and drinks brought to you while soaking up the sun on your own private beach hut!!! We took snorkels out too and just had the best time. We loved both Marmaris and Icmeler but Icmeler had our hearts. We loved the shops, and BS restaurant along the beachfront if you walk towards Icmeler direction. We took a boat trip to Cleopatra island where the sea is ultra clear and there are lots of fish. Our whole holiday was honestly like a slice of paradise and we can’t wait to go back but next time with our little one, parents and siblings to show them how wonderful Orka and Icmeler is! Spectacular 33 bedroom luxury hotel set agains thr backdrop of what must be the most beautiful bay in the area. A must for food lovers, sailors and anyone that wants to explore the region on foot and by sail boat. Don’t miss the Hemithea temple which will soon be excavated. Top marks.

My husband and I spent a wonderful week here in early May and couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay. Mehmet and the team were wonderfully attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms (we had a sea view) were clean, comfortable and spacious, and fully equipped – whilst we would have preferred not to use it, the large screen TV came in handy when it rained on the day of the Coronation, so we watched the BBC coverage! It’s a short walk into town, where there are beach bars and restaurants including the sister bar – Pilos Beach – which is also recommended, but if you want to laze around at the hotel, there are 2 pools and a relaxing atmosphere or a tennis court and a gym for the more active types. And I couldn’t leave a review without mentioning the breakfast. There was something for everyone - the usual cereals and pastries, Turkish specialities, including several types of honey, fruit, salamis, fresh juice – you name it, it was there. I recommend having the omelette too – so fluffy! We rarely had to have lunch!! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Pilos and highly recommend it

I was very happy with our stay. The staff were most welcoming. We booked 2 rooms for myself, my wife and two teenage daughters for the week that we were there. On arrival we were upgraded. The receptionist allocated one of the rooms to a sea view, at no additional cost. I would agree that the accommodation was probably only 3*. The decor to be fair was a little bit dated. There are no lifts, but this was equally indicated in the brochure. That said , it was only a few flights of steps up to the rooms. Air con Is fine and Wi-Fi was OK , but was a little flaky by the pool and on the beach. I did get a Turkcell 4.5 G LTE Tourist 30 GB sim, which lasted for a week. You can usually get one at airport or in town and they are fairly inexpensive. Yep! I put the sim in my spare phone. It activated straight away without issue and I set up a hotspot. It was a little better than the hotel wi-fi. The hotel was very scenic. It had two swimming pools, and overlooked a small promenade, which lead to a private beach. We equally had no issues with securing any sun loungers during our stay. Waiter service was also provided to both.. The hotel overall was very good, given the cost. The standard breakfast which was included was more than adequate, but I would have much preferred fresh fruit juice, rather than the diluted juice that they provided. The À la carte restaurant food was to die for. The best food that I’ve had in many a stay,. It was 4* plus. Completely fresh produce. They also had had organic and vegetarian / Vegan options. The prices were also very reasonable. The hotel were happy to keep a running tab for ancillary expenses , payable via Visa / Mastercard , TL lira, sterling or a combination of, on what ever terms you wished to choose..I tended to settle every few days. Not your typical hotel. Not predominantly English clientele , but a fair few. Lots of Scandinavians , Spanish and Turkish guests. No language barriers encountered.. The establishment also catered for single guests. Situated on the quieter west side of Marmaris. No horrendous music or loud noise , but there are a few lively bars and restaurants in the vicinity, should you wish to frequent.. it’s about a 1 km from the city centre. A short walk or a quick bus ride which doesn’t take too long, The staff are very friendly. We all had a very enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend. I can’t thank them enough, This is a boutique hotel with lots of charm.
