Where to start , well let's start at Check In, we have arrived at the Hotel around mid day which we were lucky to be provided with a room straight away, after taking our way into the room well.. The carpets are horrendously dirty to the point i had a walk around Vienna looking for flip flops just not to step bare feet on the carpet. At this point we have contacted the reception in hopes of getting an upgrade which we were willing to pay but got immediately shut down as they were at full capacity, the shower room was fine big walk in shower fairly modern and clean, big TV although do not be fooled it is not a smart TV if you phone does not have Screen Cast do not forget HDMI cable or you will be stuck watching German TV. The restaurant was only open for Breakfast they do not open for Dinner only upon request and availability, now this was a first for me.. Nevertheless we prefer to eat out always and Vienna has some Fabulous places where you can have a nice Dinner. Be careful as well when you wake up a bit later and have to come down to reception to ask for Housekeeping to come and tend your room as they will leave your room door wide open whilst you are parading around Vienna, this actually happened to us we requested them to go to the room to change the towels and nade our way to the center, once we cane back to the hotel after several hours we found our door wide open left by Housekeeping, next morning we made our way to the reception and made a complain as all our belongings where in the room and they would not take accountability if they were stolen, they only apologized and that was all not a voucher not an upgrade absolutely nothing, if you are looking for a Hotel were they dont care about you no good morning no good evening this is the place for you if not DO NOT STAY HERE. This is for the Doppio Hotel team please dont bother replying to my review and rather look into making changes when providing training to your team, people want to feel welcome and safe when staying abroad and you guys failed at both those points, seek out to Train and Develop your team because there is a long way for you guys to go. We stayed at Mooons for a short 4 day city break in Vienna. We chose a Quartier Belvedere room which was immaculate and beautifully decorated. It had loads of charging sockets and the we loved sitting in the window and watching the world go by. We timed our trip with the recent europe heatwave - but the air con was so good in the room that we did not suffer at all. We have to say that the highlight of the stay was the rooftop bar. There was a fantastic selection of cocktails and the view from the rooftop in the early evening was stunning. the staff at the rooftop bar were so welcoming and friendly - especially the two young czech waiters who we got to know quite well. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone in Vienna - without a doubt the rooftop bar was a huge addition to an already lovely hotel.

This hotel is a paradise before and after long days of touring the city. Centrally located right next to the subway stop, I could access everything easily, even if it was snowing. The front desk staff were so professional and secured me an extra night when my flight plan changed and upgraded me to a beautiful, QUIET corner room #304. The breakfast buffet is a veritable smorgasbord of choices: eggs, weiners, cheeses, meats, yoghurts and fruits, coffee cakes and breads. The best part of the breakfast is the staff: Jamil from Tunisia is extremely helpful and attentive. Melin from the Phillipines was a superb fountain of knowledge about the city and special events and happenings. I will be sure to come back on my next trip to this magic city!

Should provide conditioner and lotion. It's very drying there with the hot shower. Breakfast should be varied. Same breakfast menu for 5 days was tiring. Breakfast was eu19 per pax, standard but pricy for the selections served. Location is good, staff are nice. It's clean and the aircon or heater works. Will be good to have a small iron in the room. Gym was small and basic but only one or two at the time of me using it, so was fine.

Because it was a residence-type hotel, it was nice to cook a meal. The bedrooms were separate, so it was nice to gather in one room and eat together.

We stayed in January 2020 for 3 nights in this hotel, very conveniently located nearby subway station, which makes it perfect to enjoy the city without paying extra money. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and big enough. The hotel's bar is cozy and the restaurant has a good choice of meals and amazing staff. Overall a very pleasant experience.

My two teenage children and I stayed in the Family Room for 3 nights in June 2022. The location of the hotel is unbeatable - right in the heart of the city and shopping area. A stone's throw away from a metro stop and the St. Stephen's cathedral. There are a lot of restaurants nearby to dine at, The State Opera House is a 4-min walk. The staff of the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. Our luggage didn't make the connection in Amsterdam and hotel staff went out of they way to call airlines. If you want to get to the hotel from the airport, take the CAT (City Airport Train) for 12 euros (kids under 15 ride for free) and get off at the first city stop (Landstrabe/ Wien Mitte). Then take the U3 subway line (buy separate ticket for 2,40 euros) and get off two stops at Stephanplatz. It's about a 25 min ride.

The service was enthusiastic and they took the initiative to tell us that there are discounts for on-site bookings. The rooms are very quiet and the transportation is very convenient. Esperienza eccellente in coppia. Prenotato 4 notti presso questo Hotel per me e la mia ragazza, e devo dire che ne siamo rimasti estremamente soddisfatti. Punti a favore: - Camere nuove, pulite, spaziose (noi avevamo la standard e si stava benissimo), controllo temperatura direttamente dall'interno, condizionatore efficentissimo ed intuitivo, doccia ampia, minibar, cassaforte e tablet da cui controllare la TV e altre funzioni. - Posizione strategica a dir poco, davanti la fermata della Metro U1 che arriva in centro in 15 Min, bus e tram. - Tranquillità. Camere insonorizzate perfettamente, non abbiamo sentito un minimo rumore né dall'esterno, né dal corridoio, né dalle altre camere, aspetto che ho apprezzato moltissimo avendo il sonno leggero. - Palestra, seppur piccola, essenziale ed adatta ad un breve workout per chi non volesse priv****ne anche in vacanza. - Refill acqua infinito alle fontanelle in reception, anche se a detta dello staff l'acqua dei rubinetti di Vienna è potabile. Lati negativi: Anche se la nostra esperienza resta da 5 stelle, credo sia giusto sottolineare alcuni aspetti che potrebbero essere migliorati per rendere questo hotel impeccabile. - Colazione: 21€ a testa è una follia, non so cosa offrissero ma a quelle cifre nemmeno mangiando all'Hotel Sacher in centro. - Ascensori: utilizzabili solamente scannerizzando la tessere della propria camera, metodo sicuramente intelligente per evitare intrusi nell'hotel, ma a volte scomodo e malfunzionante, e in generale gli ascensori funzionano un po' macchinosamente. - Mancanza di un armadio in camera di qualche cassetto, seppure abbiamo apprezzato molto quella sorta di appendiabiti a cielo aperto all'ingresso. - Staff pulizie scortese al checkout: nonostante alla reception ci avessero detto che il checkout fosse possibile fino alle 12, già dalle 9 una signora delle pulizie è venuta a bussarci, ripetendo poi verso le 10, anche dopo averle detto che eravamo in fase di uscita e avremmo liberato la stanza per tempo. - Connessione alla TV: nonostante avessimo seguito la guida per connettere il telefono alla TV tramite Miracast, non ci ha funzionato nulla, abbiamo riprovato più volte ma niente, avremmo potuto domandare in reception ma alla fine non ne abbiamo avuto bisogno.

The original room allocated was dirty and they did not service it on my first day. They changed the room upon my feedback and there forth cleanliness was up to standard. Though I always find a variety of bugs and insects in my room every day, from a spider the size of half my palm to beetle etc. Guess that is a result of being too close to the garden?
