Leonardo Hotel Vienna Hauptbahnhof

Stayed for two nights in July. The hotel's location is excellent; it's right across the street, just a three-minute walk to a row of hotels if you turn left when you exit. Just make sure to exit through the door near the Spar supermarket. We were a party of one adult and two children, and the sofa bed was already made up when we entered the room. The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate. The shower didn't have a door, which was a bit awkward. It had air conditioning and a mini-fridge, but no kettle, though I did see some guests borrowing one from the front desk. Getting to the city center is super convenient; you can just take the metro from the train station.

The room size was just right, and the soundproofing was excellent; despite being across from the train station, there was no noise. It's very convenient for getting around, and having air conditioning was a huge plus. The decor is new and modern too. My only minor complaint is that there's no gym; if it had one, it would be even better!

The hotel is quite close to platforms 11-12 at the station, but it's about an 8-minute walk from the main train station hall, shops, and restaurants. The staff were reasonably helpful, and the room was spacious enough for two large suitcases. It also had a fridge. It was fine for a one-night stay.

The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast was excellent. I appreciated the complimentary empty bottles in the lobby for self-service water refills. The room also had a small coffee machine.
