This is a hidden gem. Set on a stunning beach the villa is an oasis of tranquility and luxury. The rooms are spacious and first rate. The chef here is excellent so I would recommend having meals here. The service is exemplary as one would expect at a place like this. Just a fabulous place!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this beach villa in Sri Lanka. The service at CC was unparalleled, with an incredibly attentive and friendly staff that made us feel right at home. The culinary experience was a highlight, offering both exquisite Sri Lankan and Western cuisine that set a new standard for taste and quality. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were in a home away from home. This villa truly exceeded all expectations, earning a well-deserved 10/10 rating.

We enjoyed our stay very much, everything was perfect. It is a small beautiful hotel right by the sea with a gewat garden and a very nice pool. It is very quiet there, so really perfect if you want to relax. And the service is outstanding, everyone is incredibly nice and the food is excellent.

Excellent stay! Rizwan and team were amazing and made our stay as comfortable as possible. We loved the private access to the beach, the swimming pool was lovely, food was fantastic, rooms were very clean and comfortable, and everything was very nice! Will definitely be coming back here next time I visit Sri Lanka.

During our 10 day stay in Sri Lanka we have stayed at some amazing accommodation but none better than Contemporary Ceylon. From the time you arrive the service is outstanding with an accommodation that has an easy going luxury and to top it off amazing food curated by well known chef Andrew Speldewinde. Situated an hour from Colombo, Wadduwa beach has easy access for all swimmers which can be hard to find in SL. PS Aussie travellers get ready for best smashed avo and toast you will ever have!

My recent stay at The Villa by Contemporary Ceylon was nothing short of spectacular. The location by the beach is a quick drive from Colombo. The villa is a lovely design, elegant furnishing, spacious bedrooms, excellent food and the impeccable service provided by the staff.

Our recent family stay was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived until the day we departed, our experience was marked by exceptional service, exquisite surroundings, and the warmest hospitality. Rukmal, Heshan, Suranga, and Rizwan were an absolute delight. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel like at home. They went above and beyond to ensure that every member of our family, from the youngest to the oldest, had an unforgettable experience. Whether it was arranging special meals or simply offering a friendly smile, they were always there when we needed them. The villa's rooms were not only aesthetically pleasing but also incredibly comfortable. The pool was a hit with our family, and we spent many hours enjoying it and the jacuzzi. The villa itself created a unique and inviting atmosphere. This villa will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we can't wait to return for another extraordinary stay.
