The view facing the house is very beautiful. It faces the lake directly. You can cross the road to the lakeside and overlook the lonely trees in the distance. The room is very quiet, comfortable and bright. The six of us sat on the spacious terrace and drank tea and chatted in the living room. Unfortunately, it was only Stayed for one night; there is a Chinese restaurant run by Cantonese people downstairs. It was so delicious. We ordered green bone fish, Phnom Penh abalone, mutton and drank wine. It cost 1,080 yuan for 7 people; if you stay a few more days, you can have it yourself The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking; I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Except for the lack of breakfast, which is a little inconvenient, everything else is good. Highly recommended!

Reckon I dare to say Lakeside Apartments is one of the best places I have ever stayed in my years of travelling around the world! To start with, the staff are super helpful and welcoming! Secondly, the amenities are exactly what a family life need and more! Third, the layout of the rooms, bathrooms and showers provide all the comfort and privacy a family could ask for! Last but not least, the kitchen and the sitting room, OMG! Who doesn’t fancy the idea of cooking a nice meal while looking out of your balcony, gazing at that beautiful Lake Wānaka, enjoying your meal accompanied by the incredible sunlight painting those mountains with an arrange/golden color! Oh, don’t we love Lakeside Apartments!!! We are coming back to this place again today, annnd, we will be coming home to Lakeside Apartments again in the near future!

We have stayed at Lakeside Apartments many times over many years and it is consistently immaculate and comfortable. The apartments are a very good size and well appointed the kitchen has most things that you will need in terms of implements and there is a large refrigerator. The views from the apartments are all lovely whether you are on the top floor or the bottom floor. The outside pools are lovely. My only negative comment is that the designated carparks are very difficult to get into, particularly if one has an SUV. The bushes between adjacent covered carparks have grown over the years and it’s almost impossible not to scrape ones vehicle along them. Don’t let this put you off, the units are lovely and the staff and management are both relaxed and very hospitable.

Lovely spacious apartment with lake and mountain view. Very clean and comfortable. Felt like a home, with everything thought of when it comes to amenities. Fully equipped spacious kitchen and quality laundry which was really appreciated after a week of travel. The management and staff were warm, friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
