I went to the Shenzhou Peninsula with my family over the weekend and booked the Shenzhou Peninsula Private Sea Villa Hotel. The environment and service were great! The handsome guy at the front desk upgraded the room when he saw the children and the elderly! really thankful! 👍, you can see the sea from the window 🌊 and the internet celebrity check-in spot ~ The ”Lighthouse” where she disappeared. It's a pleasant surprise. The hotel is a seaside 🏝️ villa 🏡, and the environment and service are also very good! A very cost-effective hotel! My family is very happy😃. I will stay at this hotel again next time I go there🏨

This hotel comes highly recommended. Upon arrival, the staff were incredibly accommodating and even upgraded my stay to a villa, which was fantastic. The food at the Horizon Beach Bar was outstanding, and the staff were attentive, always anticipating my needs. The cuisine at the Western restaurant was also excellent. Overall, this hotel provided a wonderful experience.

Because I was going to run the Wanning Marathon and take my kids to play for two days. It happened to be my birthday, so I had to choose between Westin and Le Meridien. Let me talk about the advantages first. The housekeeper Xiao Xu contacted us in advance and almost responded to our requests. The whole experience was on a new level. The hotel is grand and beautiful to take pictures. The logo is not to be mentioned. It is directly better than Le Meridien. The photos are more fashionable. The breakfast is satisfactory. Almost all rooms face the sea, but the floors are different. The shorter ones are blocked by trees, which are garden rooms. Disadvantages: There are too many people, and the most important thing is that there are almost many outsiders. Those few words are too famous, and many people come to check in and take pictures. On the beach, on the lawn, and in the lobby bar, this is a problem that the hotel should consider management. Beach guests cannot use it. It is occupied by aunties. They are definitely not guests staying in the hotel, because they also carry large and small bags to change clothes and silk scarves on the spot. There is also the lobby bar. Those who really want to have afternoon tea quietly are very noisy, and the experience is not good. Finally, the hotel swimming pools are scattered and not concentrated. Children and indoors are together, and adults are on the other side, and they are not close to the sea. It lacks the feeling of a vacation. In general, it is suitable for staying for one or two days and taking photos. If you want to stay for a few days, the next door Le Meridien may be more suitable. It is quieter and the swimming pool is closer to the feeling of vacation, but there are fewer sea view rooms. However, if you meet a good butler and the service is good, you will feel good, and you can ignore other things. This time, I also encountered a super sunrise on my birthday, which was worth it!

The hotel is beautifully situated with its own beach. The landscaping and grounds are picturesque as are the ocean views. I have previously stayed in big hotels in Sanya that involve long walks to the facilities and the beach. However, this hotel is really nicely sized. The lagoon pools and infinity pools were great, though I did wonder a bit about the cleanliness levels. I was initially concerned about reviews saying the place looked aged, but in person the rooms seemed fine, spacious and clean. The service was excellent on every level. They did not have a business center but they helped me out with some business needs. The breakfast was diverse and they made sure to keep the buffet filled up despite a large number of diners. All in all, it was a very refreshing and enjoyable stay. Note that taking a train from Sanya Airport to Wanning is not difficult and economical if the timing works well for your flights.

This apartment is on the man made island - it is a little hard to find the reception especially if you don’t speak Chinese. The apartment itself is perfect with everything you need. It has a lovely big balcony and the aircon works very well. It is still slightly under construction- so not all the elevators work at the moment (quite a long wait most times) The island itself is not really where all the action happens - so best to rent a scooter as there is always heavy traffic to get on and off the island.

Location: Lovely location right by the ocean but a bit far from any fun spots. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the Wanning 日月 beach where there's a lot more fun activities. Services: Great service. The front desk manager TT was lovely and could speak great English thus making communication go smoothly. Amenities: Good but could be better. I think some of the rooms were not used for a long time. The first room I got smelled a bit musty. Also, don't expect new facilities this place looks like it's been around for a long time and it shows. Still, it's charming in all it's rustic glory. I would say the only downside to my stay is that there was no shuttle to the train station. Which is kind of a letdown given that this is a high-end resort. ***If you're a person of colour, I recommend maybe try the two hotels not far from this place. Le Meridien and The Westin I think. I didn't spot any other foreigner during my two days at this hotel until I went to 日月 for a walk and ran into a few of them。It turns out most foreigners stay at the Westin or Le Meridien thus maybe it won't feel too isolating opting for these two hotels rather than this one. All in all, it's a nice hotel to stay if you're on a budget.👍🥂

Marcia also suggested that we could check in in advance after arriving. We mentioned the room we wanted, and the hotel said that they would try their best to meet our needs. After completing the procedures, there was no room number. We could come back to get the room card after the room was cleaned. The shuttle bus on the negative first floor of the lobby took us directly to the room. Very pleasantly surprised, they helped us upgrade the room. The experience of the courtyard sea view suite was great. The bedroom and living room could see the sea. There were also two bathrooms and toilets, as well as JBL speakers. It can also be felt that the hygiene was very clean. When going out of the room to use the car, it is recommended to dial 0 directly in the room to call the front desk service to make an appointment for a car, which would be faster. Scanning the code is not very friendly. There are fisherman's restaurant and Yige for breakfast. We went to the fisherman's restaurant. There would be fewer people before 9 o'clock. When we came out after eating, we saw many people queuing in. The travel photo shoot was provided, and you can make an appointment when booking the hotel. 10 photos that have not been retouched are provided for free. I think the photographer took good photos. You can just adjust the filter by yourself. The experience of staying here is still very comfortable~ It's a pity that the weather is not very good recently~

I was a little worried after reading the reviews, but I was quite surprised when I opened the door. The room is spacious and bright, clean and tidy, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped. In particular, the large balcony with sea view has endless views and fireworks at night. There are two bedrooms and one living room. There are four of us living in the room. The mattress is comfortable and everyone has a good rest. Decisively extended the lease for another day!

I have never given a bad review to any hotel. This time, the bad review is entirely because of the poor service attitude, except for the housekeeper. The check-in front desk is very difficult to find. Not only is there no one to answer the phone, but the person who calls to ask for the address of the check-in is very impatient. Other people are either deaf and ignore you or speak in a very aggressive tone, which completely ruins the mood of the trip. The room type is indeed ok, but the view from the balcony depends on luck (maybe it also depends on the mood of the front desk). We were very unlucky to be assigned a balcony that can only see the edge of the sea. But there are many similar B&Bs on the island. Just because of this attitude, I will not come to this one again.
