"Service: From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we felt very comfortable. All the staff were incredibly welcoming, the front desk lady was very gentle, and all the staff we met around the property greeted us warmly š.
Environment: š³ Tropical garden style with good greenery. The room was a bit noisy, with high-speed trains passing both in front and behind, but it was acceptable once the door was closed. The mini-bar in the room was free to use, and it was fun to buy some base spirits from the supermarket to mix drinks.
Facilities: Everything you need is there. There are also shops outside the surfing park, though some haven't opened yet. Surfing was a lot of fun, and the instructor was very patient. I'll definitely come back when I have time.
Hygiene: Public areas were very clean, and the room was also large and clean.
Breakfast: Full marks! Both Chinese and Western options were available in a buffet style from 7 AM to 1:30 PM, which was a huge bonus. It was great to sleep in and then enjoy brunch.
Other: It's not far from the hotel to the commercial street, just a few minutes walk. The commercial street is very lively after 9 PM, but pretty empty between 5 PM and 7 PM. You can order takeout food, and it gets delivered right to the hotel. We ordered from a few places, and the taste was generally average."

"The views are amazing and the sand is so fine. Our butler, Ella, sent us a guide as soon as we checked in, which turned out to be really helpful. We picked two spots to visit the next day and both were great. The breakfast selection was extensive and the kids loved it, eating a lot. You can also take the shuttle bus to the neighboring hotel to explore. We didn't get a king-size bed room, so we paid a bit extra to upgrade to a suite. However, it was quite a distance from the elevator, and some guests slamming their doors loudly was annoying. The soundproofing could definitely be improved. There were even people setting off fireworks at eleven or twelve at night, which was also very noisy. Among the luxury hotels in Wanning, this one offers great value for money. I would consider staying here again on my next visit."

"This is NOT an advertisement! This hotel has the absolute best service I've ever experienced! Every question was answered instantly. They provided clear and detailed information on activities, restaurants, services, and pricing.
On the first day, we arrived late and they upgraded our room. They constantly reminded us about upcoming fireworks, to close windows and doors at night due to mosquitoes, and even proactively asked if we needed a late check-out or a new room key. Later, they upgraded our breakfast to the Horizon Restaurant. In the evening, they waited until we were back in our room to deliver a fruit platter ā not just a basic fruit plate, but a lovely selection of mini bananas, strawberries, grapes, and tangerines. Even with so many guests, the service felt so personalized, almost like a one-on-one nanny! It left a deep impression!
Secondly, the pool is absolutely gorgeous! It's only 1.5 meters deep at its deepest, and they even provide swim rings, which was a lifesaver for me, a non-swimmer! After swimming, you can soak in the hot pool nearby ā it's incredibly comfortable; I almost fell asleep!
The hot cocoa at the adjacent cocoa shop is very smooth and delicious. I loved the coffee chocolate I tried for the first time and bought a few as gifts. The crispy beef at the Chinese restaurant on the third floor was also delicious, exceeding my expectations!
Overall, the entire stay was incredibly comfortable. Whether it was the front desk, gift shop, beverage shop, restaurants, pool, or beach bar, the service was unbelievably good throughout. Plus, Wanning's bar street is so much fun, with great music and energetic crowds ā ten times better than the bars in Shanghai! I definitely want to come back again; it was such a joyful trip!!"

He contacted us two days in advance to ask about our preferences, sent us menus, arranged our room, and even turned on the dehumidifier before we arrived. Our luggage was delivered directly to our room, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. Our room had a direct ocean view, perfect for watching both sunrises and moonrises. Every inch of De Vivre will produce the best photo you can ever ask for. They even provide a free photography service for you if you need( first 3 photos is by the photographer).
The most outstanding part about this place, more so than the scenary is the service provided by the staff there. They have a 24hours butler service that will try help you resolve any problems that you have to the best of their abilities. They are swift in responding and always always very friendly to make you feel at home. The owner who is there most of the time will chat with you and offer you fruits from the local villagers and really make you feel at ease and at home. Not to mention the 2 dogs there that are extremely friendly that will only try to ask you for belly rubs.
They also offer a lot of activies in the hotel such as henna painting, hair braiding and other diy art events, with afternoon tea and even movie under the stars. If you are looking to go to the nearby beach, they have a chauffer to bring you there and back, you just have to communicate the timings with them. The whole stay is extremely pleasant.
If you are worried about the cleanliness of the place, it is extremely clean. Thy would on the air conditional before you arrive so that your room would already be cool. The room always smells very pleasant.
Last but not least, I just wanna say this is not a sponsored post hahaha. These are all heartfelt feelings and I would definitely find time to go back there. They definitely made me feel like home even away from home. This is the perfect getaway for anyone.

The view from the residence is really beautiful. You can surf downstairs. There is also a shooting place for the TV drama Xiahua. There are also amusement facilities downstairs. I have always had high expectations for accommodation during travels, hoping that it can become a place to rest my weary soul during the journey. Shanyin undoubtedly perfectly fits all my imaginations of an ideal B&B, and even far exceeds my expectations, so I have to give it a five-star rating.
The moment you step into the B&B, it feels like you have walked into a world where time has treated you gently. The courtyard is full of colorful flowers and green plants, with wooden tables and chairs placed randomly. Under the sunlight, it exudes a lazy and comfortable atmosphere. When checking in, the warm smile and thoughtful service of the lady at the front desk instantly dispelled my fatigue from the journey. She patiently introduced me to the facilities of the B&B and the surrounding travel guide. Her friendliness was like that of an old friend whom I hadn't seen for a long time.
The room I stayed in gave me a lot of surprises. The room is decorated exquisitely and elegantly, and every detail shows the owner's care. The solid wooden bed is soft and comfortable, and paired with high-quality bedding, it allows me to have a good night's sleep; a few classic books and a bouquet of elegant flowers are placed at the bedside, adding a touch of literary and artistic atmosphere to the entire space. The decorative paintings and ornaments in the room are original and complement the overall style, revealing a unique taste. The bathroom is clean and tidy, and is fully equipped with toiletries. All of them are high-quality products and are very comfortable to use.
In the early morning, I was awakened by the singing of birds outside the window. I opened the window and the fresh air hit my face. In the distance were dark green mountains and in the near distance was curling smoke from cooking. A quiet and beautiful rural picture slowly unfolded before my eyes. After a quick wash, we went to the restaurant to enjoy breakfast. The breakfast provided by the B&B is rich and varied, including local cakes, fresh fruits, nutritious porridge, as well as fragrant coffee and tea. Each one is delicious and injects full vitality into the new day.
Shanyin is not only a place to stay, but also a harbor where the soul can rest and be nourished. Here, I am away from the hustle and bustle of the city, enjoying the tranquility and beauty to the fullest. Every corner has left me with beautiful memories, and every service made me feel the warmth of home. XXiayunyunĀ·Huge thanks to the front desk for the room upgrade! Check-in was super fast, and we got a lake-view room. The view from the sixth floor was pretty good, though the highest floor is the seventh, so it obviously can't compare to the views from higher-floor rooms. But being on a lower floor meant less wind, so it felt really warm and cozy.
The hotel's public area pool is beautiful. The outdoor pool is cold water, not heated. However, the indoor heated pool makes up for it ā you can swim there and then go for a hot spring dip, which is incredibly comfortable! I'd suggest increasing the frequency of maintenance for the hot spring pools; when I went, the water quality wasn't as good as I'd imagined, and the hot spring water quality isn't quite on par with places like Tengchong or Guangzhou.
It's a bit stingy that guests consuming at the lobby bar still have to pay extra for the billiard table. I'd suggest changing this to a reservation-based system with a time limit; guests would probably feel better about that.
Breakfast overall was decent. The live cooking stations for noodles and vermicelli were freshly prepared, and the broths were excellent. However, the soy milk and coconut milk were both watered down and flavorless, like too much water had been added, making them very bland. I hope this can be improved, because the self-service Qingbuliang (a refreshing dessert soup) loses its meaning if the coconut milk isn't good!
The housekeeping staff are very diligent. For consecutive stays, it felt almost like checking into a new room every day. But as a five-star resort, shouldn't the complimentary bottled water at least be something like Nongfu Spring? This 'Ice Dew' brand is a bit much. A few extra cents in cost wouldn't hurt, right?

Sure enough, you get what you pay foršThe garden view cannot see the sea. There are cruise ships out to sea right in front of the hotel. You must go out to sea, itās super cool. There are really many swimming pools in the hotel. There is an infinity swimming pool, which is very photogenic. You can take photos of the lighthouse. It is beautiful to take pictures of. You must go to take photos and check in during the day. The lighthouse is dark at night and cannot be seen. We had breakfast at the hotel the next morning. There were really many types of breakfast. There are also Western and Chinese food. Salad cakes are available. I like the freshly cooked noodles very much, it suits my taste very much. Later, we went to the lighthouse to check in. After all, it was the filming location of her missing photo. Taking photos is also very impressive. The hotel is not far from the lighthouse, and it takes more than ten minutes to get there by taxi. It's very comfortable to rent a car and enjoy the scenery slowly. On the way, we stopped by the Shenzhou Peninsula. I love hh photos so much. It's located in the village, but it's easy to reach out to the beach line just in 10-15 min walk or several minutes on a e-scooter that you can rent directly in the store. Welcome to negotiate for a better rent price š. 60 - ļ¼ 40 RMB. If you are lucky, you might can find a lower price in the village.
Many local food stores and convenience stores just outside of hotel.
For renting the surf board, I'd recommend go directly to the stands right on the beach (right side of the beach, closer the bridge that connects the island with living compound). 80-100 RMB per board for one time use (a couple of hours).
Absolutely must go to Kaya and other bars for late drinking and partying! You can meet lots of cool young Chinese people.

KKelkooLocation: ONLY book if you are coming with your own car. Accommodation is not easily accessible by foot especially if you are arriving at night. All food places at least 5-10 min DRIVE. However, it is an interesting location as it is not close to the sea, so you get to experience another side of Hainanās environment. Make sure you bring mosquito repellent.
Service: Was just okay - not the most helpful unless you ask questions. For example, the SUPs have to be booked ahead so their trainer is scheduled to come - which was not mentioned. So if you are only staying for one day, make sure you tell them ahead.
Cleanliness: Since it is a humid environment, mould will likely appear. The tent we were in had a lot of mould on many of the inner walls. There was an attempt at simply covering it but these tents should be cleaned and treated.
Amenities: the tents definitely are definitely more fancy than normal tents - ours had a shower and AC. I was mostly disappointed by the lack of activities and food availability. I think if you are an accommodation that is difficult to access - at least food/drinks options should be provided.
