Riyuewan NEXTDOOR backpacker hostel

Had an amazing time with fellow travelers at the hostel! This is definitely the best hostel in Riyue Bay for atmosphere. The owner even joined in our activities. I stayed here for 8 days, and the hostel was always spotless, with the owner personally tidying up every day. It truly felt like home.

The owner is incredibly kind, warm, and genuine. From the moment I checked in, it felt like visiting a friend's home. They patiently answered all my questions, whether about recommending routes or local food guides, making me feel completely at ease with no distance between us. The activities were abundant, and the social atmosphere was absolutely amazing. The owner often organized various events, and in the evenings, everyone gathered to play games and chat. I met so many interesting people. Traveling alone, I never felt lonely; the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The facilities were comprehensive, making for a very pleasant stay. The room was clean and tidy, and the common areas were spacious and comfortable, with a kitchen, laundry room, and reading area all available. The bed was just right – not too soft, not too hard – and I slept soundly. You could really feel the thoughtfulness in every detail. Food, drinks, and entertainment were super convenient. There were so many dining options nearby, from snacks to full meals, and all were great value for money. Finding food was never an issue.

The facilities are well-equipped, and the owner organizes various activities. The hygiene is excellent, and there are many adorable little cats. In your free time, you can pet the cats and watch movies.

Very clean and comfortable. A hostel with a great atmosphere. I stayed in Wanning for a week and didn't want to go home. 😢 The owner, Ayisha, takes care of everyone like a friend and an older sister, organizing activities and meals to make everyone happy. I was lucky to meet some really fun friends here. We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's Eve. Next time I'm in Wanning, I'll definitely stay at the back gate hostel again!

The hygiene was a bit poor, but I thought the facilities were okay. It would be best to teach the cat to use the litter box. I thought the layout of the hostel was acceptable, and I appreciated the atmosphere and the activities organized by the owner. It's also close to the beach. I hope the owner can maintain the good aspects and improve the bad ones.

First, I went there with some unease after seeing the negative reviews, worried it would be like those reviews. Second, the experience was surprisingly good. I arrived quite late, and the landlady patiently explained things to me, gave me travel tips, and introduced the hostel and attractions. By the way, the landlady is incredibly beautiful, very nice, and has a unique kind of beauty that I really appreciate. The accommodation was also quite nice; as she said, it felt like home! Finally, I don't understand if those who left negative reviews felt the price didn't meet their expectations? With such high standards, I thought it was excellent. It had everything I needed, and it's close and convenient to Riyue Bay. It's a great hostel; I stayed three nights, and if I weren't rushing to my next destination, I would have liked to stay longer. Also, the air conditioning was very comfortable.

The store is located in the village of Riyue Bay. The owner is a very interesting person with a very special experience. You can chat with her. He will organize all kinds of fun activities and take you to play together. Then he will come to the yard for barbecue. The whole room has bunk beds which are very comfortable. The bed sheets are changed after each guest. The yard is also cleaned very cleanly. There are several arrogant kittens. There is a small table in the yard. You can lie in the yard and enjoy the breeze at noon. The days in Riyue Bay seem to pass very slowly. You can have plenty of days to squander. It is romantic and leisurely. It is really suitable for vacation. The atmosphere in Riyue Bay is also very good. There are a lot of young people. Everyone living in the yard goes to chase the sunset, go to the beach, and go to the bar together. It is very relaxing and enjoyable. It can be said that this is the most fun and vivid memory of my entire Hainan Island trip. I will come again!

This is a pretty good youth hostel I've stayed in. The hostess from Northeast China is hospitable and keeps the yard very clean. The room is also clean and there are several cute cats. We had barbecue, drinks and watched movies together in the evening. She invited everyone to go to the beach bar and invited us to taste the local specialties. It's very suitable for young people to gather. I'm very happy to live in such a warm homestay in Wanning!
