My family and I enjoyed our recent stay at Citadines on Burke Melbourne. The standout positives were:
1. Staff Service: Check-in was excellent. The staff were warm, professional, and very helpful, setting a welcoming tone immediately.
2. Room Size: Plenty of room for luggage and for everyone to move around without feeling cramped.
3. Bathroom Amenities: The provided toiletries were nice quality and appreciated.
Items for improvements:
The spaciousness makes this hotel ideal for families. However, to make them truly perfect for families like ours, I'd suggest the management consider offering some room options with two queen-size beds to enhance comfort and sleep quality for parents and children sharing the room.
Despite this suggestion, we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay thanks to the great service, ample space, and good facilities. We would definitely consider staying again.

I stayed at 3 hotels all near Flagstaff stations for this trip, just to try something new and compare. Excellent location and the Flagstaff garden is at the opposite. The Pegasus has a real kitchen and utensils since it's an apartment hotel. No view at all but it's ok for a night's stay. The bed is so soft but so as the Radisson and the Jazz hotel so I guess it's the standard?.. Staffs had reasonable service, but I overheard the guest in front of me checked out 30mins later than he should and the staff were not happy about it at all, like teacher talking to a misbehaved student. Overall it's price for money.

The hotel is located in the city center, making it convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and dining. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of options, including Chinese-style snacks and porridge, making it quite suitable for Chinese people.

This apartment is right on the edge of Melbourne’s free tram zone, just a few blocks from Flinders Street Station—an ideal base for anyone familiar with the city’s tram network. Getting around is straightforward if you know how to make the most of the free transport system.
The apartment itself is well-equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. A functional kitchen includes a stove, an ample supply of cutlery and plates, and a smart TV with built-in access to Netflix—perfect for winding down after a day out. The heater did emit a high-pitched noise when first switched on, but it settled once the temperature stabilized, allowing for a restful night.
The only down side is the reception is not 24hrs.

The hotel is located in the CBD. We are able to access to the places of interest and shopping centre easily. The shopping centre is just opposite the hotel. The hotel staff iis friendly, provides immediate assistance when I enquire for baggage storage. Though there is a notice about on the 3rd day room service but there was room service on the next day of our stay. Highly recommended

Service: Let me start with service, as I immediately felt unfairly treated during check-in. It was our birthday (August 20th) on the day we checked in, and after informing the receptionist, not only did we not receive a single birthday greeting (not even a simple 'Happy Birthday!'), but I was also told that the hotel doesn't offer any special services or courtesies and that I could purchase a cake myself from a shop. This level of service is utterly inconsistent with a Crown Hotel and was profoundly disappointing! I provided feedback to the front desk during check-out. While they offered an apology and champagne, it was a classic case of too little, too late. A birthday only comes once a year, and the disappointment lingered.
Facilities: The facilities are generally new. The shower features a handheld showerhead, which is a great convenience for families with young children (many hotels in Australia surprisingly lack these). The bedding was incredibly comfortable. Disposable toiletries, bottled water, and slippers were all provided (we had brought our own, as these are often not standard in many Australian hotels).
Cleanliness: The room was immaculately clean. The bathtub was spotless, making it perfectly fine for our child to enjoy a bath.
Location: The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to dining and public transport. While there's a major establishment/casino nearby, which means a lot of foot traffic, room access requires a key card, so we felt very secure.

We stayed here for four nights.
1. The staff is courteous.
2. Perhaps it's due to the Oaks brand, but the hotel has a strong scent of aromatherapy throughout.
3. The room is spacious, but overall it shows some wear and feels a bit old.
4. The location is convenient, right next to Flagstaff Station. There’s a convenience store (very expensive) and Chemist Warehouse nearby.
5. If you want to use the parking facility, you must make a reservation in advance.
6. Laundry costs AUD4, drying costs AUD4, and laundry powder costs AUD2. The washing takes about 30 minutes, and drying takes about 40 minutes.
7. Aside from toothpaste and a toothbrush, all other amenities are provided including body lotion. If you need more, you can ask the front desk. However, there is no daily room cleaning service, so you need to take out the trash yourself if necessary.
8. Interestingly, the room we booked was already with a garden view, but they said they upgraded me to garden view (with the same room type). They must have made a mistake of upgrade 😆
9. TV is without youtube nor Netflix.

We booked the hotel from trip.com which was the best decision we made in securing a place in Melbourne. Its easy, convenient and theyre offering an affordable price compared to other booking site. Best Western Hotel, its 5/5. Friendly staff and the location is great. Will surely book again for our next trip to Melbourne.

Got to the hotel early and our room was not available. Sat in the check in area for an hour because we were too tired frombour red eye flight. And the kind staff offered us a free upgrade so we can check into our room earlier. We managed to catch some sleep before heading out. Hotel was clean and location was excellent. The room was spacious, but the arrangement was a bit weird as you can see from the location of the sink. Water pressure was low and a full body mirror would be nice. Overall, good hotel and thank you to the staff who let us check in early.

For anyone who relies on internet access, this is a significant point to consider. The WiFi was incredibly slow, to the point of being almost unusable. Aside from that, everything else was acceptable, though the sink in room 214 was clogged and drained very slowly. On the positive side, the hotel is very close to the city center, which made getting around extremely convenient.

SsimondingThe location is good, and parking is convenient for self-driving. The hotel has its own parking space, but the parking fee is a little higher, but it is basically the same in Australia. The apartment is very clean and you can cook your own food. It is always on the edge of the city center and close to the University of Melbourne. The city view is also good.
