The Canvas Apartment Hotel
"Environment: The hotel is absolutely amazing! With floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides, it offers a direct view of the CBD skyscrapers. The sunset glow in the afternoon makes it feel incredibly cozy. Facilities: It has a super, super, super large living room, with a washer and dryer, refrigerator, microwave, oven, and even cutlery and pots. It's truly like a student's apartment, absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend it!"
Yehs Hotel Melbourne CBD
"I recently stayed here for a couple of nights and had a pleasant experience. The location is unbeatable—it's situated right in the heart of the city, making it very easy to access public transport and local attractions. The service was exceptional; the staff were professional, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any requests. As for the facilities, they are quite basic and a bit dated, but everything was clean and functional. Overall, this hotel is a solid choice if you need a convenient base for a short trip and plan to spend most of your time exploring the city."
Crown Metropol Melbourne
With its bold, futuristic architecture and stylish interior design, this premium hotel features a spectacular indoor sky pool and a chic lounge vibe tailored for modern urban explorers.
Pegasus Apart'Hotel
"This place is outside of the free tram zone so remember to get the Myki card to take the trams. The best part was the indoor pool because it’s so cold outside. We all went in for a dip into the heated pool first, then went for a few lap swims, then back into the heated pool to end the night. There are convenience stores nearby but we’d recommend to head to the nearby supermarket instead to grab snacks and drinks that are way cheaper."
Hotel Grand Chancellor Melbourne
"The room is tidy and with large spaces. The staffs are nice and friendly. It’s convenient for transportation that you can take buses or trams in walking distance. It’s a a pity that there is no swimming pool or gym room."
YTI Garden Hotel
"It’s good for the travelers who seeking an closest accommodation in the city."
Rydges Melbourne
"Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. The hotel room doors are very heavy and close back extremely quickly. As we were travelling with a young child, this felt unsafe, and there is no door-stopper or holding system to prevent the doors from slamming shut. Cleanliness was also below the standard we expected. Housekeeping did not clean the room thoroughly, and we found the overall cleaning service inconsistent. In addition, there were pieces of broken glass near the elevator area that remained there for three consecutive days, which suggests that the carpeted elevator area was not being properly cleaned or inspected. Amenities were limited. Slippers and bathrobes were not provided, which was disappointing for a hotel of this category. There is definitely room for improvement in terms of cleanliness, attention to detail, and guest safety."
Crown Towers Melbourne
As the pinnacle of Australian luxury, this world-class hotel delivers lavish rooms, an award-winning spa, and unparalleled views over the city skyline and Port Phillip Bay.
Mercure Welcome Melbourne

Tolarno Hotel
"location was ideal, very close to plenty of pubs, restaurants and a short walk to the beach. I had no problems when I stayed here and would defiantly come back, the service was fine, the guy at reception was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend staying here."
Roamer St Kilda
"Lovely vibes, cool chill areas, community bar and community events plus the staff especially the lovely guy who booked me in was Amazing. However it's a very crappy old building with Nil working properly showers and broken toilets. I had 1 night in a nice female room which I barely even saw as I was out and Tried to rest at a 2nd booking being shoved into a mixed smelly weird noisy dorm on a top bunk with ****** knocking on the door at all hrs, one guy snoring and another twat on the phone I told off. Was stressful and I hadn't a Warm shower in a working functioning bathroom in 2 days. Not returning. If you like noisy rude tourists and old buildings with no lift carrying your bags everywhere and no showers, great!"
Cosmopolitan Hotel and Apartments
"Nice space"
Best Western Plus Buckingham International
"Sachi was just amazing and extremely helpful. Thanks for all your help."
Grand Hyatt Melbourne
"The only bonus was the staff in some regards, night Concierge 10+ The rest minimal to subpar. The restaurant served our food separately our steaks took an hour and that's right... Because I drove my own car out of valet, they expected me to pay further cost. Don't be surprised, the carpark is actually apart of the corporate structure but it's separated from the main entity, assuming the reason is a tax benefit or a way to expound cost associated off-loading. Too be honest, even being from Melbourne it actually feels like everyone just wants another $50 for nothing.. Subpar service.. Subpar customer service.. Subpar kind of luxury, it would seem as if the place has forgotten completely about what it was born of.. Hospitality. Give it a miss."
1 Hotel Melbourne
"1) Location Not in the city center, but not too out of the way either. The lake view is unbeatable, and the twin room offers lovely views. The best part is the free tram #96 that covers the entire city for free. 2) Service Typical Caucasian service – they greet you proactively. The restaurant food is also typical Western fare. 3) Overall Having traveled to most European, American, and Southeast Asian countries, I honestly feel Australia is the best! It's perfect for a relaxed lifestyle, with a laid-back and free way of living. Would visit again! 👍"

"Environment: Great, the best hotel I've stayed at in Melbourne. Cleanliness: Clean. Facilities: Very good, and the minibar is a nice touch. I booked a room with a view, and the view was incredibly open, showcasing all of Melbourne's bustling cityscape. It's also not too far to walk to Chinatown, and you can easily reach many famous attractions and shopping malls by city walk."

"The price is reasonable, it offers great value for anyone needing a short transit or early‑morning flight. The location is good, just a short free shuttle ride from the terminal, and the check‑in process was smooth and efficient. The staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The only area that could be improved is the cleanliness of the room."
