"The car park is challenging to access, it took me awhile to get the lift door opened and to get in, really need to align the car properly. The room itself is comfortable, with great views of crown tower. The pots are not cleaned well though. The washer and dryer comes in handy. Good place to stay on the whole."

GGuest UserThis hotel is located by the Yarra River, a bit far from the city center but still a walkable 20-30 minutes away. There are quite a few restaurants across the river, as well as the DFO outlet mall. The hotel facilities are new and well-maintained, and the room decor is naturally simple with some greenery. The only minor downside was how difficult it was to get through to the front desk by phone; it took over an hour to get slippers delivered on the first day 😂. Amenities: New, tasteful Cleanliness: Clean Environment: Peaceful, along the Yarra River

GGuest UserRoom is spacious but the pool is a bit small and don't feel that clean (might due to lack of lights). Hotel's location is great with easy access to the largest shopping center. Staff are super friendly and also provided us a small plate of sweets to celebrate my patterer's birthday.

Mmatieyan1967This has to be the best airport hotel I've ever stayed in. It's just a few minutes' walk to T4d or T3 terminals. The front desk is staffed 24/7, the rooms are spacious, well-equipped, comfortable, and soundproofed. We stayed on the ninth floor and the sunrise was beautiful. The breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options. Highly recommended!

AAnonymous UserThe Savoy Hotel was a jewel find after much searching for a convenient accommodation near the Southern Cross Station. It was just across the road! The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and clean. We had to request for slippers as some amenities are provided on request. Dinner was delicious 😋

JJason的旅遊頻道The hotel website stated parking was $35, but it actually cost $40. Self-parking involved driving our own car to the adjacent parking lot, and valet parking was $95. The hotel's location was very convenient for transport, and the unique breakfast was a definite highlight. However, despite requesting a high-floor, street-view room away from the elevators, we were assigned a room right by the elevators with only a limited street view, which somewhat diminished the five-star experience. There was no in-room washing machine, and we had to send out laundry at an extra cost, which was quite inconvenient. I only booked this hotel because I wanted to experience a five-star property; however, despite its five-star rating, it just felt like something was missing.

GGuest UserAlways a fantastic stay here. Great location if you can get the right room. 2 and 3 Bedrooms have corner views so if you can pay a little more its well worth the corner bed. Sky apartments are exceptional. Don't recomend if your not good with heights! So good when you get a great sunset. Could have been a bit cleaner and would recomend they do a good spring clean once in a while. Thanks to the freindly staff! didnt have a issue and satisfied every one of my requests.

GGuest UserA place for rejuvenate and value for money. Location: we did not rent a car, but can go there from CBD by train (30 mins) and bus (10 mins). If you catch the 496 bus from Laventon, it takes a 8 mins walk to the hotel off the bus stop, If you take 497 from Williamslanding, it takes 18 minutes, but you can shop at the centre (Coles, Aldi, K-Mart and Chinese supermarket), eat at different restaurants, and have manicure or massage. Facilities: the unit is well equipped with cooking utensils, we cooked our breakfast. There is no buffet breakfast but a la carte menu at the country club. The country club has gym and swimming pool too. Nearby attraction: we went to Werribee zoom, Weribee Park, Werribee Mansion, Joseph's resturant. The zoo has a safari bus which is a great attraction. Staff: the staff is helpful. We requested a lake view room one day before. They helped us by calling the cleaner as our check in day is a public holiday. Much appreciated.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is super convenient! It's just a few minutes' walk to the free tram zone and the central train station, making it really easy to get to all the attractions. There are also tons of shops and restaurants nearby, so you'll find everything you need. The hotel breakfast was great too, with plenty of choices. I'd definitely stay here again next time.

GGuest UserFor my 21-day trip to Australia, I stayed in 11 hotels across Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. Here's my ranking of the best to worst experiences (with value for money considered): 1. Capella Sydney (low value for money) 2. Park Hyatt Melbourne (high value for money) 3. InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto (medium value for money) 4. Crown Towers Melbourne (high value for money) 5. Le Méridien Melbourne (medium value for money) 6. Hilton Adelaide (medium value for money) 7. The Langham Melbourne (low value for money) 8. Citadines on Bourke Melbourne (best value for money) 9. Meriton Suites Waterloo, Sydney (high value for money) 10. Best Western Plus Travel Inn Hotel Melbourne (low value for money) 11. The Hotel Windsor Melbourne (worst value for money) Now, let's talk about the InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto. Like The Windsor, it's a heritage hotel, and its beauty is undeniable. It truly looks like a 19th-century Neo-Gothic Venetian castle! Located in the heart of Collins Street, it's one of InterContinental's most luxurious heritage hotels worldwide. When you stay here, you can't help but spend time exploring, as both the exterior and interior decor are magnificent, and the room facilities are top-notch. It's definitely worth a stay.

VVSingLocation: The hotel is situated in a very quiet area, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Nights were serene with barely any car noise. It’s about a 10-minute drive to a nearby mall with Coles, Kmart, and other essentials—super convenient. For travelers, it’s around 40 minutes from the airport, which is manageable. Cleanliness: This was a mixed bag. Upon entering, we noticed a burnt iron mark and several purple stains on the carpet. We made sure to report these to reception immediately due to the $300 AUD bond fee, to avoid being held responsible. Being close to a lake or river meant encountering mosquitoes and some large flies. We also found spiders in the bathroom, but we managed to catch and release them outdoors. Towels provided were an issue—one was dirty when we checked in, and even the replacement towel the next day had stains. However, the beds were spotless, which was a relief. Service: The front desk staff were excellent—friendly, thorough, and accommodating. They explained all the amenities, including the location of the gym and pool, and handled our late checkout request graciously. Facilities: Although I didn’t personally use the gym or pool, the in-room facilities stood out. The smart TV was a bonus, with access to YouTube, Disney+, and Prime Video, ensuring entertainment for the family. Room: The two-bedroom apartment was incredibly spacious, with two bedrooms flanking a central living room. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, complete with an exhaust fan to keep the heat out. The beds were the highlight—so soft and comfortable, providing an excellent night’s sleep. Overall: While the initial issues with bugs were unpleasant (I dislike insects), once we cleared them out, the stay became very enjoyable. The spacious layout, serene environment, and cozy beds made it a pleasant experience overall.
