"The hotel is nice and the location is very convenient. Two things were problems. 1. Try running in the gym when the sun rises - you can't without being blinded by the sun. Blinds need to be installed! The rest of the gym was very basic. 2. I tried to go to the rooftop bar a few times. It was advertised as open, but it wasn't. Looks like it could have been a nice place for a drink. Overall, the hotel was ok, but it did feel very impersonal and it lacked attention to detail."

"The room was spacious, bright, and very new. It came fully equipped with a washing machine, microwave, and induction hob. The hotel is conveniently located just 200 meters from a tram stop and 300 meters from a bus stop. It's also very close to Chinatown, making it an excellent location overall. If you plan to stay, remember to book in advance, as it's often fully booked."

"The Art Series hotels by Accor, while a novel idea years ago, are getting tired and a bit worn down at heel. The Olsen might have started as the belle of Chapel Street but she is definitely showing her age and no longer comes off as the cool influencer. Part of the problem is Accor can't decide what this series wants to be -- luxury hotels with $21 granola or boutique on a budget. The towels are thin, the lighting dim, the amenities screwed to the wall. We were placed in an ”accessible” room, which is a tiresome trick by front desk personnel to those bothering to find a good deal on overpriced lodgings. Mediocre shower, deafening fan, wet floor and soulless vibe. Bare minimum for coffee in room. Looked out our window at the poor souls working in the office across the way as it was better than staring at the curious drapes. Lift your game, Accor."

"Stayed at Pullman Melbourne on the Park and had a great experience. The location is excellent, right by the MCG and Fitzroy Gardens. Rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, and the facilities (especially the pool and gym) were a nice bonus. Staff were friendly and efficient. Only downside was pricey parking. Would definitely stay again."

"1. The location is excellent. The hotel is right on the riverbank, making it convenient for walks, shopping, dining, or taking the tram to the city center. It's also within walking distance to many places. 2. The night view of the Yarra River from the room is beautiful (I recommend booking a river view room; city view can be a bit noisy). 3. The room decor, with its wooden elements and green plants, feels warm and elegant. 4. The gym has great views, and the spa area is comfortable. 5. I didn't get to try breakfast because I couldn't wake up, but my friends said it was very rich and made-to-order (highly recommended). However, the room service meal I ordered was a bit disappointing (not recommended). 6. Finally, a big shout-out to Trip's customer service for their prompt replies and effective communication, and thanks to Ms. Shan from 1Hotel for handling everything. This is my top choice hotel in Melbourne."

"I stayed at the Grand Hyatt from 1st Aug to 9th aug in a yarra river view room. The check in was seamless, room was large and spacious. However a few arises raised throughout t he stay. The room was made but bedsheets not changed even after 3 nights. I had to call in to the guest concierge to get them to change the sheets in the middle of the night. Reason my son has respiratory issues and is allergic to dirt and dust. We were informed that housekeeping only starts on 4th day morning 9am and we had to wait the next day. The hot water connection was also bad in the room.whenever I was showering in the main standing shower and my wife came in to use the common sink to wash my son's milk bottles. The moment she turns on hot water from the sink, the hot water from the shower area would automatically be cut. I would feel shots of ice cold water sprayed onto me whilst soaping or in midst of shower. Not a pleasant experience. I highlighted upon check out but the receptionist lady Daphene was instead thinking I did not know how to to operate a shower tap. She was clearly not listening and even her trainee standing behind her was giggling at the nonsense. Lastly Daphene automatically wanted to charge me on the deposit for the full stay despite it was fully paid on Trip.com. when I told her it was already a paid stay she told me she didnt have it on record as it was a 3rd party stay. What a disgrace of a hotel and bad customer service"

"Booked a deluxe one-bedroom twin apartment. The room design was nice, but the twin beds were quite narrow. The fridge was empty, not even basic coffee or milk was provided. I had requested a river view and a higher floor to celebrate my daughter's birthday, but not only did the hotel fail to provide it, they didn't even politely explain why. There were also no birthday amenities or greetings. The next day, I called customer service hoping for some milk and also mentioned the birthday issue. She only said ”sorry, the room couldn't meet the request” and that for birthdays, they only offer a ”sprinkle” (I assume she meant something like a complimentary drink or small gesture, but the original text is a bit unclear here, and it seems like it wasn't provided). In the end, she didn't follow up on it either. This left us with an impression of unfriendliness; the customer service attitude was rather cold and unwelcoming. Compared to other five-star hotels, the service quality here was quite disappointing. Additionally, the hotel has very few facilities apart from the gym. The hotel's location is also a bit inconvenient and it's not easy to hail a taxi. On the positive side, a gentleman working at the lounge downstairs had excellent service, was very polite and friendly, and took great care of guests. The food there was also very good. 👍🏻"
