"Stayed at Pullman Melbourne on the Park and had a great experience. The location is excellent, right by the MCG and Fitzroy Gardens. Rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, and the facilities (especially the pool and gym) were a nice bonus. Staff were friendly and efficient. Only downside was pricey parking. Would definitely stay again."

"This was a trip with my wife in Melbourne for a few days before we head off to Tassie. We stayed at the loft room (note the loft bedrooms are located on lower floors, ours was on 2nd floor). On the arrival day, while we were off loading our luggages from our car (there were a few bags as we had just gone to a vineyard and had purchased 4 bottles), the 2 guards at the back door entrance, whom have clearly saw us, but didn’t assist with the luggage, nor inform the front desk to assist us. We ended up carrying the multiple luggages (along with the 4 wine bottles) while the guards watched.  On the second day, the guards were friendly - they assisted with doors and greeted us. On cleanliness, after first night, our toothpaste was empty but cleaning staff did not replace with a new set, but overall room was clean to basic standard.  However, our room had a bit of odd well on second night (first night was fine) not sure what the issue was but it did smell like kitchen cooking smell (we didn’t cook there). Breakfast was of good value and the staff working there were friendly and very responsive, I would probably say that the best experience was our breakfast thought out our stay there."

Hotel near Chapel Street,South Yarra
Set on Melbourne's prestigious Chapel Street, THE OLSEN - Art Series Melbourne offers travellers premier South Yarra accommodation with elegant, spacious suites infused with the lyrical works of revered Australian landscape artist Dr John Olsen. A breathtaking sculpture greets you on arrival, and large prints adorn all hallways and suites. This boutique South Yarra accommodation is completed by two delicious restaurants. You will be reveling in the Art of Creature Comforts.

"The Art Series hotels by Accor, while a novel idea years ago, are getting tired and a bit worn down at heel. The Olsen might have started as the belle of Chapel Street but she is definitely showing her age and no longer comes off as the cool influencer. Part of the problem is Accor can't decide what this series wants to be -- luxury hotels with $21 granola or boutique on a budget. The towels are thin, the lighting dim, the amenities screwed to the wall. We were placed in an ”accessible” room, which is a tiresome trick by front desk personnel to those bothering to find a good deal on overpriced lodgings. Mediocre shower, deafening fan, wet floor and soulless vibe. Bare minimum for coffee in room. Looked out our window at the poor souls working in the office across the way as it was better than staring at the curious drapes. Lift your game, Accor."

"Overall, pretty good. It's great for walks along the river, and there's a Woolworths right across the street. Amenities: The pool facilities are well-equipped, with both a sauna and a steam room. However, the pool water was a bit salty, possibly because many people were using it. Maybe it needs more frequent changing. Also, the water pressure for the shower in the room was a bit low, which could be improved. Cleanliness: The room's cleanliness was good. Service: Good. The doorman smiled at me when I got out of the car, and the front desk staff were polite. However, for this price point, bottled water in the room still costs extra. The main issue is its misleading placement – while the mini-bar is obviously paid, the bottled water was placed right next to the tea bags, making it easy to grab and drink, only to find out it was nine dollars a bottle. That's a bit much. Environment: Quite nice. However, the river view wasn't ideally positioned; it was at an angle."

"When I booked, I requested a high floor, and they accommodated me accordingly upon check-in. The room was spacious enough for one person, and the view was great. It's not far from DFO, and transportation nearby is convenient. I'm very satisfied. There's also a bar on the 40th floor, but you need to book in advance. Plus, there's a small supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient if you don't want to go to IGA."
